We went to Alexxa's for brunch as a post 40-birthday celebration for my son. The atmosphere was gorgeous!! The food was excellent! Party of five, we ordered the brioche toast, potatoes, eggs, omelette, fettuccine, fresh fruit, and coffee. It was all delicious!!! Our servers were Louie and Ariel. Louie was a sweetie-pie. He told us he was one week into his job but you could not tell!! He kept checking on us throughout the meal. He had wonderful table-side manners and is clearly a great addition to Alexxa's. Ariel was also amazing and checked on us. Unexpectedly, my daughter connected with another staff member, DJ Barcelo and he cemented our enjoyment of the meal! We got the steak, grilled branzino, Bolognese pasta, and a French martini. Everything was cooked really well and tasted great. A few dishes leaned a little oily, but nothing that took away from the meal. The French martini was a standout and probably one of the best cocktails I had all weekend. The only downside was that service felt a bit slower compared to some of the other restaurants we visited. We waited a little over 15 minutes before someone came by to take our order. That said, once the order was in, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and we never felt completely forgotten. The view is great, and being right next to the Strip gives the restaurant a lively energy. It is definitely on the louder side, but that's part of the atmosphere. We dined on a busy Saturday night, and despite how crowded it was, the service was excellent. Our server, Janet, was pleasant, attentive, and did a great job keeping up with her tables. The atmosphere inside is lively and energetic, but the music was so loud that it was difficult for us to hear each other during dinner. We ordered the balloon bread with three dipping sauces, lobster bisque, oysters, branzino, crispy potatoes, crispy Brussels sprouts, and a Wagyu burger. The balloon bread and crispy Brussels sprouts were the highlights of the meal for me. The branzino was also very good. The biggest disappointment was the oysters. The oyster meat was extremely small, and when we pointed it out to our server, she agreed. I'm surprised the kitchen would send them out that way. If some are that small, they should at least be balanced with a few larger oysters. I would not order them again. My cousin wasn't particularly impressed with her Wagyu burger, although I have to admit it looked delicious. The crispy potatoes were another letdown. I expected them to be crispy throughout, but only parts of them were crisp while the rest were soft. We asked Janet if that was intentional, and she said that's how they're prepared. Personally, I think crispy potatoes should actually be crispy all over. One thing that caught us off guard was a $10.79 CNF fee that was automatically added to our bill. We were not informed of it beforehand, which was disappointing, and required by law. A heads-up from the restaurant would have been appreciated. Overall, the service was the strongest part of the experience, along with a few standout dishes, but there were enough misses that I would be selective about what I order if I return. read more

She ordered it medium and it came out very well done. The staff was apologetic and absolutely tried to make it right, but by the time the replacement came out, the rest of us had already finished our meals. It's hard to recover from that, especially when you're celebrating a special occasion. My boyfriend and I shared the balloon bread, a salad, beef carpaccio, and the famous 40-layer lasagna. The balloon bread was definitely the star of the show and something special. The sides that came with it were delicious too. The beef carpaccio was good, the salad was fine but nothing memorable, and the lasagna was enjoyable. That said, I might get my foodie card revoked for this, but I'm kind of a Stouffer's girl. Overall, it was a good meal, but for the price point and being in Vegas, I feel like there are so many amazing dining options that this one didn't quite live up to the hype for us. More than anything, I was disappointed that the birthday girl didn't get to enjoy her dinner with the rest of the table. I went here for dinner tonight with coworkers (we are in town for a convention) and everything was very good. The food was like 5/5 from me and the service was maybe 4/5; however, it's a very loud space hence why I'm docking it a star. My boss has dined outside there before too and said it's actually even louder. I had the Verona Sour cocktail, which was good but not as peachy-tasting as I was hoping, and the Filet Medallions Marsala, medium rare. The medallions were delicious - I think I maybe forgot it came with risotto, which is hit or miss for me, and I really enjoyed that too. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and presentation plus taste was excellent. Additionally, prices here are not bad for the Strip - my cocktail was $18 and meal was $50, but they had some pastas for $25-30 I believe. We orders and everyone shares but our primary dinner was chicken and fettuccine with garlic bread. The bread was the best . It was cooked to perfection! The beef spare ribs! All delicious. The meat falls off the bones! If you were not hungry yet, we have to dessert. The calories don't count! We had these lemon custard puffs. It had raspberry jam and whipped cream along the side . Connected to the Paris Hotel, this place has stunning views of the Bellagio's water show, especially if you sit on the patio. Our servers were all very personable, made sure we had everything we needed and that everything came out perfectly. Avocado and burrata toast on a croissant was a great spin on a brunch classic. Cannoli pancakes were absolutely decadent. Pancakes were soft with cannoli cream layered between each pancake. We loved this place we came back for lunch later on the trip! The wagyu French dip was also delicious. Super tender beef with a light crunch from the outside of the roll, and plenty of drippings for dipping. Came in for brunch and sat at the bar with a couple of friends. They were slammed for a Friday morning, I was super surprised, but the bar has open seating. Our bartender was amazing and took such good care of us. He was super friendly. I decided not to order brunch and got the rigatoni and it was sooo good. We brought our family here for brunch and it was a solid choice for a brunch spot on the strip. First, I would say reservations are a must. While a few people did walk up, the wait was almost an hour so highly recommend reservations. The location is great. Center of the strip, right across the Bellagio. If you can get outdoor seating I recommend since you can watch the fountains across the street. The restaurant is fairly crowded, with dense seating, but nothing out of the ordinary for most Vegas restaurants like this. The food was okay. I had eggs benedict but my favorite part was the potatoes - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The espresso martinis and bloody mary were delicious! The menu did not offer anything that really wowed me, so I do wish they would offer some more unique dishes. My husband had the breakfast burrito and it was good. None of the food was bad, it just also wasn't the most amazing brunch food I've ever had. It was all very solid. With cocktails and an entree (plus tip) all in all brunch came out to about $70 per person, which I would say was slightly higher than I would expect even for Vegas pricing standards with the dishes we ordered. But you do get some nice views and the portion sizes are decent, plus the cocktails were great, so I don't think it is bad brunch choice on the strip. read more

Went here for a girls brunch this past weekend. There were a lot of people waiting in line, but if you decide to sit inside, the wait wasn't actually that long. Outside, you do get a view of the water show so pick your poison. I wish I remembered our waiter's name I don't, but he was very attentive very knowledgeable and really accommodated us. We wanted to try the disco ball drink which is huge, like I want to say 64+ ounces(we had four people splitting and we properly felt good ) I'm allergic to strawberries and the Service was attentive to make sure my cup wasn't garnished with strawberries and that our cocktail did not have them in there either. He also gave a lot of good recommendations on shots that I wanted to try a different bottles. I will be honest I wasn't too much into the food. Everybody else got you know eggs Benedict, omelettes etc. I didn't really care for the menu it was a little bit too limited for me. So I stuck with just the hummus and the drink we ordered. It's been awhile but Alexxas has turned into our go to brunch spot anytime we are in Vegas. This spot is always busy especially for brunch so like I have said before if you have just 2 of you or 3 and there is a long line just go to the bar and see if there are seats open and then you don't have to wait in the line to get a table. The guy behind the bar has been there for years and super insightful of the menu. This time we went with the banana bread to start which was melt in your mouth good! I substituted bacon for chorizo and highly recommend it. What to stay away from? High priced items like branzino and steak. It is minor league at best and they don't really care how you say you want it (medium rare was the steak request), it comes medium-well to well done. And it was more like a salt-lick than a steak. The branzino was about 3 bites worth. And if your potatoes are listed as "crunchy potatoes," shouldn't they be...crunchy? At least a little? Soggy soggy soggy. Come on guys...you're mailing it in quite a bit here, and for the higher priced items, you must do better, especially if you are charging the same prices as a real steak house, or drop the price to a Sizzler and you'll be fine. read more

I think this could be my favorite restaurant ever. Went there a few months back and forgot to do the review. Service was top. We had two servers and they were both attentive. We ordered their bread that has air and then it desinflates and it came with three dips. Loved the honey one. I had the fettuccini and it was sooo good. Good amount, and taste. My mom had a pasta with mushroom and loved the sauce. We ate inside but the doors were open and you could see the strip while eating. Even though doors were open it wasn't too hot or too cold. We chose Alexxa's at the Paris Hotel for dinner while visiting Las Vegas. It was a gorgeous warm night so we sat outside with a view of the Bellagio fountains. Dinner and a show. The restaurant has a large indoor dining area and large outdoor patio with umbrellas for shade. Our server was Ryan and he was engaging and friendly. We ordered a bottle of Italian chianti and shared three items off the menu. First was the wagyu beef carpaccio appetizer with cubes of gorgonzola polenta, scallion crema, endive and parmesan. It was very good but could have had more beef because it was so very thin that it was just a mouthful. I did like the cubes of polenta. I wouldn't order this again for the quantity and price point. Next we shared two entrees, the branzino and the lasagna. The branzino had a crispy skin with a lemon caper sauce, so moist and flaky. The lasagna was just not any old lasagna - it was Alexxa's 40-layer lasagna that was probably the best lasagna I've eaten. FORTY layers for those in the back of the room! I had stayed at one of the hotels on the LV strip during my trip & would walk past often. The restaurant definitely catches your eye & the smell of the restaurant as well. My partner and I had a craving for pasta so we had decided to stop by and order the Alfredo and the spicy shrimp mafalde. Along with truffle fries, and some drinks. I will say the truffle fries were phenomenal, the best truffle fries I have tried! We also tried the garlic bread, I thought it to be a little too tough to bite & seemingly came out extra toasted but it had a good garlic flavor. The pasta was fine however the presentation for all the dishes and drinks were amazing! Overall there was good service. Staff were helpful with suggestions and would check in periodically.
