    Fries no ketchup!
    Cheryl W.

Food was food although they have no ketchup at the place for fries. I enjoyed my salmon fried rice since I haven't had rice for a while on my trip. The food seems very Californian and "healthy". Order at the counter and they have a large outdoor deck. They had live music the night we were there.

Jupiter is an Excellent Casual Meal spot with unique flavors! Note: you order at the counter then grab a seat. (You gather own water, silverware and bus yourself.) After all your work, however you are rewarded by Amazing flavors - unique fresh creations at Jupiter! Out of our two meals, hands down, the South bowl with tempeh was simply outstanding! I even had a protein ' Community bowl' with pulled pork and my favorite, a delicious chimchurri sauce!? ( also tasty as heck!) But the South Bowl flavors and pickled goodness along with best Tempeh, Ive ever had. Definitely check this place out. Indoor and outdoor seating available, or I saw orders to go. Inside in winter has only about a dozen tables. Also, do check out their pastry display, I saw a few great looking scones, cookies, ect, I'll need to try next time!

Jupiter is a MUST visit restaurant if you're in or around Winthrop. Known for its farm-to-table approach, Jupiter features a unique menu with local ingredients. While this is a casual spot, its patio is perfect to unwind after a long day of hiking. We loved this spot so much, we dined in for dinner 2 nights in a row. Every item we ordered hit the spot and was SO FRESH! Naan Tacos- chicken and pork both amazing. Totally unique on the naan bread. Fried Rice Protein Plus- 11/10 my favorite! Comes with tender pulled pork and this sriracha aioli that is to die for BBQ Pork Fries- talk about loaded. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Any of their salads Jupiter also has a large case of bakery items! We got some cookies to go. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Vegan Nacho Fries- crisp waffle fries with vegan cashew queso, soy chorizo, pickled onions, kimchi and jalapeños.

We loved the wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options! We ordered the Vegan Nacho Fries and the South Bowl with Avocado Cilantro Lime dressing. The vegan nachos were fresh and crisp with. Yummy vegan queso and soy chorizo. It also had kimchi topping that gave it a tang and some heat. The South Bowl with baked tofu packed a punch of health with a lot flavor. Tofu has a lot of flavor and is one of the best baked tofus I've ever had! This bowl has a lot of food so I would recommend sharing it out planning to take extra home (unless you've been hiking all day- then you might want it all!). We also got a peanut better cookie with miso. It tasted like a peanut butter cookie but with a bit more depth to the flavor profile. Food was quick to come out, and everything was awesome! We loved getting both healthy and flavorful options for dinner! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. Both are nice and offer lovely views of the mountains around. There is a set of stairs required to get into the venue. They did run out of tempeh toward closing, so if you are wanting a particular item make sure you go in early!

1/2 salad with chicken... was quite large!

One of our favorite places to eat in Winthrop for lunch. We ate here in November and remembered enjoying the food, so it was our first meal (we came back 2x) on a recent trip back to the Methow Valley. My son and I both had the same entrees for our first meal this trip...he had the fried rice with spicy pork, I had the tacos with chicken tinga. Husband had the kale bowl (new), and we all shared the furikake fries (also new). We went back again with friends since I wanted them to try the furikake fries... had a small salad with the chicken tinga, it was a 1/2 size, but was quite large! We also tried the chocolate cardamom roll, that was so good! I ordered a blue berry and lemon scone as well, which was shared with everyone. The scone was ok, the chocolate cardamom roll was a lot better and won everyone over! Pros- tasty food that is mostly healthy- depending on how you order! Good bakery items as well. Reasonable prices and relatively fast service once food is ordered (order at the counter and take your number to your seat/table) Cons- it's tucked away, so it could be hard to find. Note- It's next door to the Glass shop- up the stairs.

Super cute and unique place for the area. A bit pricey though, but everything was good! Got the naan tacos with pulled pork

I had the best bowl (south) I have ever eaten. Beautiful, fresh, and delicious. Can't wait to come back!

I ordered the south bowl, best bowl ever my husband had the Jupiter salad with pulled pork. Both were absolutely beautiful and delicious!

Naan tacos. The mushroom/tempeh on the left is especially tasty

Quality ingredients, great flavors and best coffee in town. Scones are the best that I've had.

It's not even one of the items that they circle as their top sellers. This was so good. Thinly shaved beef on a really tasty bun and loaded with cheese. I'm not a fan of bell peppers, but these didn't overpower. Such good flavor! My wife had the burger, and it was outrageously good (I think it was the Bro). Get ready to back up your truck to the door when you finish b/c they load you up with so many fresh, hand-cut fries. Again, such good flavor, but this is where the heartburn really kicks in. They bring out a caddy of 6 different sauces to keep the Freedom fries company. The gal who served us wouldn't win any awards for hospitality, but she treated us well and we got out of there alive. We thought it was a win.

They didn't have the first 2 drinks we ordered (which seems kind of silly, it's a bar after all), but all good- lots of other options. The club sandwich was very good! Double the size I was expecting! Fresh veggies and meat piled high- The only thing I would suggest is ditch the Kraft cheese and use real cheese! It was a great little spot, will be back

The person checking us out, Liz, was extremely rude and showed very little hospitality. I asked a simple question about the different waffle flavors available, and instead of explaining or helping us, she essentially threw the menu toward us and said, "Here, you guys aren't ready? Go sit down and come back." The way she spoke to us was dismissive and made us feel unwelcome. What makes this even more frustrating is that this has happened with Liz more than once. She has unfortunately ruined my experience every single time I've interacted with her. I really hope management takes this review seriously. A business can have great food and a beautiful location, but customer service matters just as much. If you're going to advertise yourselves as the #2 best restaurant in Washington, the hospitality should reflect that reputation. Management, please address this. Something needs to change when it comes to how customers are treated.

Tasty hearty breakfast with kind and friendly staff…read more We came here twice during our visit to Leavenworth, and the second time the friendly lady at the restaurant recognized us and even remembered what I had the day before. I loved my plate. The Bavarian is a nice savory hearty choice for meat lovers, or for those who have a long eventful day of ahead of them. The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The portion was huge for me, and I'm not someone with a small appetite. I ended up sharing most of the potatoes with my vegetarian partner, who ordered the avocado toast. Btw, he said the avocado toast was on the smaller side compared to the Bavarian, and it was actually perfect paired with another plate of sweet toast. The French toast was tasty too. I also ended up taking a few bites of it in between my Bavarian plate. In short, this is a lovely breakfast spot with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and generous portions. It's a place worth visiting again.

The grilled potato's were crispy and smoky filled with grilled bacons' meaty aroma. Grilled mushrooms were smoky and tender. If the over easy egges could have been cooked less would be better. The honey butter mixture was not overly sweet, the butter and honey perfectly mixed together as a great topping for the crispy outside and tender inside waffles. They offered maple syrup on the side as well. The Irish coffee was filled with the aroma of the Irish whiskey but not overpowering by it. It was a great blend. The server was so friendly, hospitable, helpful, totally recommend you!
