Smoked salmon belly bowl is to die for. Same with the eel. So are ALL of the sushi bombs. Did I mention the smoked salmon mac salad is the undisputed king of mac salads? Don't even get me started on Sal's specials. From the crab rolls, to the Salmon Sinigang - the lunch options just don't miss. All of the smoked salmon is some of the best I've had in my 15 years living in Seattle. Especially the salmon jerky. I put the smoked fish up there with the best in PNW. All of the seafood here is so fresh, no matter what you're looking for you're getting the best the city has to offer. The staff are all amazing at what they do and are so friendly. You can tell they really love what they are doing and that speaks to how great the owners are. Love supporting good businesses. Inside, you'll find an amazing selection of fresh seafood, including salmon belly, large fresh prawns, fresh poke, and so many Hawaiian-inspired favorites even tempura batter and other specialty items. I stopped by to pick up some salmon belly to bring home, and I can't wait to cook it! If you're a seafood lover, I definitely recommend adding Seattle Fish Guys to your list.

We also got a couple side orders of rice. The crab was pretty small to share, but it was fresh. The dip was pretty good. The crab "fat" flavor was a little too subtle, but it was still a tasty dip for the crab meat. I had imagined that it would be a kind of crab chowder, but it's more of a mayonnaise mixture. I thought $71 for the crab was a bit pricey though. The geoduck sashimi was really good. There were portions of both the siphon and belly fat. This isn't a typical menu item, so I was glad they offered it. The staff is so friendly. They made us feel at home. I wish they could just hang and chat with us lol. They were so busy though. Have to admit at being disappointed in my latest experience at Dukes…read more It was about three weeks ago, the last Sunday in May. Went with my husband and met some family for lunch. We got there first, as the rest of the family went to the wrong location. So my husband and I were just there drinking water and waiting for them for a while. -I asked our waiter to please. "keep the water coming". Anyway, everyone finally arrived and we got things ordered. The food arrived in a timely way. Unfortunately, I have to report that their prices have gone quite high. I know most restaurants have had to raise their prices, but considering the food, both my husband, and myself felt that their prices were prohibitive, and with that in mind, we probably will not be back for quite a while. My hubbs had their lobster mac & cheese, which he gave a 7 out of 10. I had their lobster roll, which frankly, I could only give a 5 out of 10. It wasn't very flavorful, and definitely needed the dipping sauces that were served with it. Rather awkwardly put together as well, which made it kind of messy. Just kind of hard to eat. I did really enjoy their sweet potato fries though. Everyone else had various seafood dishes, which looked good, and one had a burger, which looked absolutely delicious. (I was kind of jealous once I saw it.) The service was good to begin with, but we had to flag down the waiter for water more than once. And towards the end of the meal, I was having some of that dipping sauce with the last of my sandwich; it was on the spicy side and I was out of water. Tried several times to get the waiter's attention, but it didn't work, and I had to literally yell at him to bring me some water. It was a little embarrassing, but I really needed it, & I was getting kind of mad! I mean, after all, I had made a point early on of asking him to refill the water. So that really kind of pissed me off. Because neither myself nor my husband had ordered any other beverage, & we really needed that water something fierce!! So obviously, I have mixed feelings on Dukes at this point. If money is no object, I'd say sure, go here and enjoy something tasty. But make sure you order some beverages so you don't have to count on the waiters for water!!!
