    Angus Beef Bowl
    Oliver P.

Decided to try a new place and found this small Korean spot behind the 7Eleven on Tampa and Rinaldi called K-Stop! Everything looked really good but decided to go with the ANGUS BEEF BOWL and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Good amount of beef that was juicy and tender! So much flavor! I would definitely come back for this and maybe try one of their Kimbap's! The service was really good! The lady that helped us was so friendly! The restaurant itself was very clean and cute! A lot of beef bowls come out a little dry but this was very juicy and I loved it!

I had a craving for some japchae and kimbap so I looked up some places nearby. I'm so happy to have found K-Stop because their food was so fresh and amazing! I called to pick up an order of the japchae and Kimbap. For the japchae I wanted it with bulgogi ( $3 extra for the meat) and it was ready within 15 mins, which was perfect because that was the distance for the drive from my place to there. Once I arrived I let them know my order, I paid and enjoyed it at home. The place itself is a small and cute little spot. They have some tables if you want to eat inside, but I wanted to enjoy it from the comfort of my home. The food itself was very fresh and flavorful, and the portion size was really good too. I will definitely be coming back here when I'm craving kimbap and Japchae again!

    Tuna Kimbap / 참치김밥

KStop is a small, casual Korean spot best known for their kimbap (Korean rice rolls). I first tried it when a friend picked some up for a quick dinner, and at that time I really enjoyed it -- especially the anchovy, along with the bulgogi and tuna rolls. This time around, my experience was a bit more mixed. I ordered delivery, and it was right before closing, so that may have played a role. I ordered the tuna and anchovy kimbap and the kimchi fried rice. Unfortunately, the tuna kimbap felt completely unseasoned -- there was very little flavor compared to my first experience. The anchovy kimbap, however, was still solid and remains my favorite item on the menu. The kimchi fried rice was also disappointing. While I appreciated that it came with a runny egg, the rice itself lacked flavor and didn't have the bold, tangy kimchi taste I was expecting. I wouldn't write KStop off completely -- I'd be open to trying it again, ideally in person and earlier in the day -- but based on this order, I'd probably stick to the anchovy kimbap only, which has been the most consistent for me.

Stopped in to try this restaurant. Walking in was a little confusing as the food aspect of the store was in a back corner. The main part of the store was a acai bowl (and other flavors) and a tea bar. We went to the back to look at the menu and then came back to the bar area to order our food. We both got the Bulgogi box and we shared the K-Kimbop. The counter person was helpful and nice. The food came, and we dug in. The K-Kimbop was good, but needed some sauce. I added a touch of soy sauce. The Bulgogi was good and the box was arranged nicely with the noodles and pickled veggies. It also came with a side of whit rice. All in all, I enjoyed it. It is a convenient stop right off the freeway for a decent lunch.

Came here for lunch with my brother around 2pm on a Wednesday Lots of parking available Dog friendly The interior is very clean I really love the concept! You can tell The kimbap here is made with love Perfect balance on rice and fillings. I love that they wrap their fillings with a lettuce leaf to keep the contents tight and snug. I got the k kimbap and bulgogi kimbap. K kimbap is made with imitation crab tasted like fish cake kimbap nothing to special very good baseline. Bulgogi kimbap is made with very tender meat. The marinade did taste closer to kalbi and you can really taste the flame grill. Highly recommend. My brother got the buldak chicken plate. The meat was very soft and tender. The overall plate was super filling for him and put him in a food coma. It's a small business. You can tell they make your food fresh and to order. Total was 40$ for two. Very friendly staff offered is waters while we waited. Definitely coming back!

Impressively delicious kimbap at this cafe. It's essentially a seaweed-wrapped cut roll with bulgogi meat, korean carrots and cucumbers inside. I added a little soy sauce and hot sauce and it was a go. Each bite was very fresh and juicy, as the flavor of meat and the fresh veggies was definitely popping, delivering a plethora of flavors to my taste buds. The service was good and friendly and the spot itself is clean, modern, with about 6 tables for a quick dine-in. P.S. They also have an acai bar with a massive selection of toppings. Will definitely come again!

Came here for a second time with my fiancée to have her try the Acai bowls and she loved it. She complemented the interior design and comfortability of the store. The price is super affordable, only $8 for 12 oz with unlimited toppings and a delicious Acai sorbet. Highly recommend, is one of the better Acai bowls we've had in the SFV

I've been curious about trying this spot for a while now and today I finally decided to try it! And boy am I kicking myself for not coming here sooner! My boyfriend and I ordered a bulgogi box, a buldak spicy chicken box, bulgogi kimbap, Tteokbokki, and japchae. Everything we tried was so delicious and flavorful! Seems like you can't go wrong with ordering here! Even the beverage section was delightful! I got a sparkling grape soda and it was amazing! The space was clean and spacious with plenty of seating. And the staff is so friendly and kind! I absolutely recommend coming here and will be coming back again and again!

Great packaging and rice ratio is good for the various kimbops. Nice take out place and the gal was nice enough to bring my take out to my car (doggo waiting). Also got the spicy chicken bento and that was pretty spicy!

    Spicy Chicken Kimbap

Hands down my favorite lunch spot in the Valley! K-Stop never misses. The bibimbap is a must, add either the spicy chicken or bulgogi and you're set. Everything tastes fresh, healthy, and genuinely homemade, like real comfort food done right. Portions are solid, flavors are on point, and it's consistently good every single time. If you know, you know, K-Stop is a gem.

Very good service and nice selection of foods. We've been going here for a while after doing our nails next door. First time trying their acai!

I decided to stop by again to give this place another try, opting to not get the Tteobokki again. However, upon entering the establishment, I noticed the young cashier staring at me unfavorably as she had a bit of attitude and was not welcoming. At this moment, I realized her poor customer reception was due to my initial review. Soon after, the owner came out from the back and asked if I was Korean. I replied "Yes" and then she asked, "Were you the one that wrote a review the other day?" If they were asking me to initiate a productive conversation, that would have sufficed. However, this was definitely not the intent. I felt like I was ambushed and this made me very UNCOMFORTABLE. I have always been honest with my reviews, as this is my own opinion of the food and my experience. Constructive criticism seems like it isn't welcomed here. I will not be going back and felt very disrespected as a customer.

I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. The bowls were large and came out piping hot. It was a satisfying meal and not too heavy. The price point was on the pricey side. Our waiter told us business has not been the same post covid. Some dishes are between $40-$60. I asked for a soup and they were able to make it less spicy. My friend got a soup with dumplings in it. He put a good amount of soy sauce to give the broth some life. Also, the banchan is on point. We asked for a refill and devoured the second portions. If you wanna impress friends with Korean food, bring them here! Its a casual place.

They raved about how good the spare ribs were and even insisted that their last meal before LA should be at Ham Ji Park.  Here's my belated review of what I consider the best spare ribs in LA. From the moment the Korean-style spare ribs arrived at the table, it was clear this was a dish worth savoring. Each rib bore a beautifully charred exterior--deeply caramelized without a hint of bitterness--offering that irresistible smoky aroma the moment it was placed before us. The glaze was nothing short of spectacular. A perfect balance of sweet and spicy, it clung to the meat with a glossy sheen that promised flavor in every bite. There was just enough heat to make your taste buds sit up and pay attention, but it never overwhelmed the deeper, richer notes of the sweet components. But what truly set these ribs apart was the texture. Beneath the charred surface lay meat so tender it practically fell off the bone with the gentlest tug of a fork. Each bite was juicy and succulent, the result of careful cooking and a respect for quality ingredients. Ham Ji Park, you will be missed. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the food.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
