Such a cozy good spot for sushi. While it's a small place, the service was prompt and attentive. Very clean too. Prices are decent. Definitely a place worth hitting up if you're craving sushi.

I came here with a friend and we had such a good experience. The restaurant is small with about 4 tables and some bar seating. We came during lunch and the had a special lunch combo. I ordered two rolls the spicy tuna and cerritos and got a salad with the combo. The salad had a unique house made dressing on it which I really liked and the spicy tuna roll was fresh. Their cerritos roll was my favorite and I love that they offer other combo options to mix and match rolls. The service was quick and the chefs were friendly. Affordable too. I would definitely come back here again!

Don't remember the name of the roll, but it's one of the korean fusion rolls. Love it! Unlike any other sushi roll I've had. My daughter likes their miso soup, and my husband really likes to get udon. Laid back atmosphere and friendly staff.

Love that it's a local place, the decor, and the reasonable prices. Didn't love so much how thin the fish were cut on top of the rolls. It was overwhelmed by the rice and the rest of the roll. It would have been so much better to have even a slight thicker cut so one could taste the fish. We got two rolls for takeout and was told 15-20 minutes even tho they had just opened and there were only two other tables. It came out quicker than that tho, so kudos. I didn't realize I had eaten here and reviewed it more than 6 years ago. That's says something I guess.

If you're on the hunt for amazing sushi... Sushi Gallery is an absolute hidden Gem I've passed by this place many times but finally stopped by to try it. It's a cozy restaurant run by family who make you feel like guests at their home. I'm a huge fan of salmon, and they did NOT disappoint with the quality of their salmo ... I highly recommend the baked salmon.

I have not been here in a while, although it used to be one of my favorite places. I came back here after sometime gone, and it's just like I never left. Love the service love the food and love the quiet ambience. There is some fabulous origami on the wall, framed, and the sushi chef is the one who does that origami, and it is amazing! We ate the Cerritos roll, the baked sushi, roll, and the scallop lovers roll, and they're all absolutely delicious. They're also quite a good size, so for the two of us we couldn't finish three rolls. You definitely get what you pay for, which is good size sushi rolls with yummy taste! Our miso soup even showed up with heart scallions! The owner, Tim, makes some amazing origami and has it framed throughout the restaurant.

9.19.20 I decided to treat myself for a prebirthday meal and chose to Sushi Gallery because of the origami creations from someone's yelp review and it was a lot closer to my shop and here's my first impression. Very small indoors but enough to seat 5 ppl at the sushi bar, and perhaps 4-5 tables to seat maybe 25 ppl. It is in a plaza with numerous Korean restaurants, liquor store, and a Fantastic Cafe, too. Plenty of parking. The menu is quite simple, perhaps few rolls that most of us are familiar with; rainbow roll, California Roll, Dynamite roll, and hand rolls , sashimi and I liked that the albacore roll was the first thing mentioned. Plus they do have decent lunch menu and quite affordable from $15.99- $19.99 depending on what you like. I really don't care for shrimp but they do offer some. And if you buy 2 rolls, they give you soup and salad with your meal. It was fairly quiet, and the service was super awesome. I dropped my chopstick and the chef quickly gave me a new pair. Here I was lazy to ask for one and they noticed it right away. Love the service!! And I asked who created these beautiful origami dragons and other animal ones and Tim the owner created them all. Superb and talented!! The Albacore sushi roll was super duper good and the salmon hand-roll was awesome too. Enough food for me. Second day I craved more sushi and returned 9.21.24 at 2:25p and luckily caught them before closing till dinner menu at 5pm. I did not know that Saturday they close midday from 2:30p-5p and Tim was super cool in taking my order as long as I was taking it to go. And this time the poke bowl:) Yummy choice and had him change the fish selection to just albacore, my favorite and indeed it was my actual birthday lunch to go they gave me miso soup too. Gosh the fish is fresh and I ate that poke bowl quick!! The server remembered me and happy I returned for another sushi treat. I love smaller restaurants and Tim has had the Sushi Gallery for 18 years here at this location. Very cool it's only 7 mins from me and the 91 freeway on ramp is a block away from the plaza!!! Yay !! Now, Why a 4? Well, I really do wish there were more big slices of fish on the poke and the roll. But decent enough during these " trying" times of 2024. Ok im being emo for sure.

My mission in life is to try as many Japanese restaurants as I possibly can. The one thing I've noticed is that most Japanese restaurants tend to be similar in cuisine. Sushi styles are also very similar in the way it's made from the filling, the toppings and sauces used. The thickness of slices tend to be the same, however here at sushi gallery, the positive side is the slices are not paper thin that you can see through it. Their tempura was good. Service was excellent. I would come back.

Sushi gallery is such an amazing spot! I've been coming here for years. It's small but the service is outstanding! The ambiance is more on the quiet side since it's small and intimate. If you're looking for a quiet good quality sushi spot, this is your place!

Neighborhood sushi place serves up great sushi, sashimi and udon. Portions are a bit on the smaller side, especially the sashimi slices, but freshness makes up for it. They close early and sometimes during the day, so make sure to check hours before heading down

My wife checked all the reviews on Yelp early before we went there for lunch today. Little early at 11....nobody there, the chef was cleaning the floor. We know what to order at sushi restaurants, my wife and I chose 2 special rolls, Washington and Eel. For drinks, not many choices....no Sake. Very dissapointed. We got Sapporo beer that is why. The complementary salad was served first, and our rolls w hot miso soups. The roll size is smaller, but fresh, great rice, and the flavors for miso soup abd salad were great. I really liked eel rolls. And we ordered more yellowtail roll, 2 sushi, one yellowtail and another is eel. My fave is always Eel. My wife likes Washington, she likes salmon. She really liked Washington. Melted in your mouth! Overall the vibes are casual, any typical sushi bar concept. The chef as well as an owner is using the bar for making the sushi, rolls. The space is so tiny like take out vibe. The chef was answering the phone order, making rolls, sushi, serving our foods. Wow!!! One person does multi tasks. Water is self service, the coffee is free. The menu is simple, bento, bowl for lunch, specialty rolls, sashimi, sushi. This restaurant is good for take out, Uber delivery. Lots of catering menus. I will definitely come soon for the different rolls and sushi.

Biggest con is that my 8 and 9 year old count as adults cause of their height. Otherwise, this place has an amazing array of sushi and other foods. Nigiri was a decent size. Not huge but at least not the thimble size pieces at some places. They have noodle and rice options and spam musubi which was the biggest deal for my kids. They have a list of premium items that you only get to order one per person. Although they weren't mind blowing, it was pretty good. Service was great.
