I ordered from DoorDash, so the food itself is what I'm reviewing, nothing else. Food is barely okay, and that might only be because I was hungry. There is a distinct lack of flavoring in everything, and when there is flavoring, it isn't that great. I ordered the gyro wrap with fattoush, a samosa, a burak, and yalunchi. And a baklava. The gyro doesn't have much flavor at all. I could taste a general meat flavor of beef and a tiny bit of lamb, dill from the tzatziki, and that was it. At least there was crunch from the lettuce and onions. There was a lot of water dripping from the steamed meat, veggies, and sauce. At one point, the meat may have been roasted, but that time was a long time ago. The fattoush salad was okay; the vegetables were relatively fresh (this is when DoorDash timing matters) and the pita bread croutons crunchy. However, the special house dressing is just oily with a general herb flavor. It needs some acid to tone down the oil and bring out the flavor of the herbs. The burak has a basic cheese flavor, but nothing else. It was VERY chewy. The yalunchi (stuffed grape leaves) were good and moist, but covered in oil. The baklava was disgusting. I could only taste honey and oil--no dates, no walnuts, no spices, just honey and oil. I ate a second bite, but had to choke it down. I threw the rest away. The ONE saving grace is the samosa I had. Medium spicy, good crunch on the wrapper. HOWEVER, they are barely bigger than a golf ball, and the tamarind sauce has so much ginger in it that it almost blew out my tastebuds. I don't really like ginger anyway, but I can still enjoy food with ginger in it, if the rest of the food is good. That sauce is disgusting. I will say that everything was cooked well: nothing over- or under-done. There was just no flavor. All in all, I would rather drive 20 minutes to Gyros and More in Turlock (even with the new management, it is still waaaaay better than this place). I spent $27.10 on the food; $40.33 with delivery charges, fees, and driver tip. I will not spend any more money here, not when the only thing worth eating here are the samosas and I can get bigger and better samosas at other places. read more

Any, all of the falafel places we have gone to are better than this. Where do I start? Great hopes at the menu, oh my oh my. Baklava! Samosa! Falafel! Clean, friendly girls behind the glass serving it all up, but they have gobs of room for improvement from ordering to buying. Only at the cash register do you see a typed sign that says prices on the wall are for cash, all others add 4%. Ouch. I had to confirm the baklava three times to the same girl., ditto on the samosas. Home to open our plates. . . the hummus is smashed in there so tightly they came out with the lids!!! So much for the hummus. The salad is literally drowning in what appears to be a vinegar dressing? Well, I have absolutely no idea what dressing that was. None. The rice? Boring. boring, boring. No flavor. The falafels? Even worse. No taste but lots of burnt exterior. Hope holds out for the samosas which are far too hot (spice wise) for us Mediterranean freaks to eat. So very sad. This place just opened up very recently within the past few weeks or a month, i wanted to give them a try because im a gyro fan and my husband loves falafels so thats what we came for. I came just 2 mins before they opened shop, the whole place was very confusing to navigate, i walked up to the register to order food, but the staff told me that i had to order at the glass window on the other side so i walked there and told the girl what i wanted just for her to yell at me that i cant order falafels with her because that had to be ordered with the proteins guy at the next window...at that point i should've just walked out, but the gentleman greeted me with a smile and was very friendly and helpful. After i gave them my order, i went to pay, as im trying to pay, the staff assembling my gyro is asking me if it was ok to put in the ingredients thats listed in the menu, which is fine, but thought it was weird that it wasn't asked in the beginning. When i was being rang up for my order for some reason, everything they charged me for was marked up and just thought maybe they pre-add the sales tax, but when i got home and looked over the receipt, I was just being charged an extra 4% then the listed price on their menu and sales tax as well, which is completely false advertisement on pricing. Now to the food, All the food was completely dry, and like chewing on rubber, there was no flavor to my gyro or the falafels. I will not be coming back here, it was a bad experience over all from the staff, being overcharged, and bad food. +1 extra star because the guy at the protein section was nice to me because others weren't so nice. read more

I loved the Fattoush salad - very fresh and crisp, and the portions of everything were huge. The staff was very helpful and patient since I had a lot of questions. I'm not sure they even deserve two stars. The food was tasteless we made sure to go when they weren't busy so our food was well handled but very disappointed after such a long wait. The food was not middle eastern or kabob worthy. The spices were lacking to call it Indian food and the wrong spices to give it the right flavors for middle eastern kabob.
