We were first introduced to Kabab Crush during Covid when we searching for independent restaurants. They did not then; and still do not disappoint. They may be little corner spot in an odd shaped plaza but they have BIG FLAVORS! Their pita (chicken, salamon or falafel) are outstanding. Swarma is a dream too! It's alot smaller than their Corona location. The meat size seemed smaller, 5 pcs of chicken kabob. When I told the manager or owner he said everything is weighed, it should be the same. I ordered extra pickled vegg, but they did a whole side order for $5.99. I told them it was too much I was headed to a movie afterwards. He let me have a smaller amt for free. Have not had this place in a while. Missed coming here. The chicken was so tasty and juicy so easy to cut into it. I really enjoyed the rice and hummus. The pita bread was pretty good with the garlic sauce. Everything was very flavorful and all came together. Yes the food is a little pricey but I would say that it's well worth the portion and flavors that are provided. I only ate a little less than half and got full now I have some for later. 1/11/22 Situated at the corner of 183rd & Gridley, passed by this place so many times. Looking to find a suitable go-to for Mediterranean fare closer than Open Sesame in LB, we ventured into Cerritos. I ordered via Yelp App while running errands so my order was ready when I arrived. Whoa, There's some heft to this package! I indicated medium rare for my beef Kabab and as I opened it, I was dismayed to find what looked like charred remains of my beef. Thank goodness I opened it and just to be certain, I assessed if all the meat was burnt and then tasted it, yep, it's well done. I then motioned and spoke with the young lady at the counter and said that I wanted it medium rare. She said , "Okay they'll fix you another one" . Within a few minutes she handed me a separate package. As soon as I opened the styrofoam, I could tell the difference in how the meat behaved. It "jiggled" which meant that it was soft and there's give to it. I see some pink, yes, finally! I thanked her and then another older lady came in and she looked concerned. She asked if there was anything wrong with my order as I was taking a photo. I informed her that they fixed it and that I was very appreciative. Off I went and since I was hungry, I dug into it in the car. Presentation is pretty good. The original meat sat on top of a bed of rice, which was bit too soft for my taste. Perhaps I'm just used to rice that is soft but separated, this one is a bit on the mushy side but it tasted pretty good. I tasted the baba ghanoush, that was killer good! The side of salad was okay, It looked like it sat in its dressing a bit too long but the cucumbers are still crisp. The pita bread was soft & pillowy. The garlic sauce was not as pungent as I'd like it to be, comparing it to Zankou's. The meat in itself was tender and juicy, did not require much help with cutting it with a fork and a knife. This meal could easily go for two to three meals, very generous in portion. Overall I gave them an extra star for rectifying the situation without question and so quickly. One can tell they value a customer's feedback and suggestion. The look and concern of the lady is what impressed me the most, for that I am extremely pleased & touched. I would like to clarify I called the restaurant immediately after I found the armpit hair in my food-- not days later as he is implying below. I was told I would receive a refund right away, so I threw away the food. It is unfair for the owner to expect the customer to drive all the way back to the restaurant when the manager already said they would be refunding me. Because I DID NOT receive the refund I was promised, I continued to follow up (took a month!) and always got ignored. Feel free to ask your employees: Rania, Nancy, and Tina. As to the hair in the food, it's clearly not a long strand of hair. It's an armpit hair. I attached the photo to this review. Check your other customer reviews too. It happened to someone else as well!!** I feel super disappointed to be writing this review, but it needs to be addressed. I placed an order for dinner and was disgusted to find an ARMPIT HAIR in my food! I called the restaurant right away and spoke to the owner Rania, who said she would refund my meal. Fast forward to many follow ups with Nancy (who no longer works there within 1 month) and most recently Tina, the restaurant does not seem to take their customers or food safety and sanitation concerns seriously. Visited family in the area to celebrate a birthday and options were extremely limited. After extensive research we found Kabab Crush. The prices are fair and the quality of food is incredible. Those are big words coming from us because we have been spoiled with the best middle eastern food. Our order consisted of the chicken, beef, kefta kabab and lamb chops accompanied with hummus, tabbouleh, mutabai and sumac onions. Can't believe it but everything was good! The service provided while placing our order was phenomenal. Keep in mind, parking is an absolute mess so be prepared to look for parking. Definitely worth it! read more

First Impressions: My sister had coworkers who ordered from here in the past and the main complaint was that the food would come really late or some item would be missing, so we decided to play it safe and order for pick up to-go. We didn't stay to eat, but overall it looked like a typical mom and pop spot we could go for a quick lunch The Noms: The food was good and tasted as expected. We ordered the beef and chicken swarma combo plate to share and choose hummus as our two sides. When we got home, we realized that they completely forgot to include the beef and chicken... so basically all we got was rice and hummus. IT WAS SO RIDICULOUS I ALMOST LAUGHED. We called them and after discussing it, there was an "opps" kinda response and they said the beef and chicken were still at the restaurant. We had to get into the car and drive all the way back to pick it up. Other than "sorry" we were not offered any compensation or reason why our order was missing what is the main component of our order. They kind of shrugged it off and the attitude was very "well, shit happens" which I completely understand, but damn... what a terrible way to treat your customers. Our food was cold by the time we got back home with the beef and chicken. It would have been nice if they offered us an extra side for having to drive all the way back (gas is expensive!) or a discount on a future order (which could double as a way to get us to come back and give them another chance). But nope, they handed us our food at the counter and let us walk away with a bad taste in our mouths before we could even try their food. In Conclusion: Needless to say, I will NEVER come back here. There are sooo many delicious Mediterranean spots in the area... go to one that isn't gonna shrug it off when they mess up. read more

Kabab Crush has some of the best Mediterrinean food ever. I used to come eat here a lot when I lived in Cypress. Now I am quite a ways from here. I had lunch here today with my colleagues, and I ordered some Chicken Kebabs with rice and Falafel bread. Food is delicious and fresh here as you order. They cook the meats on their grilles. Big food portions here, and they are not very expensive either. Nice to be back again for lunch. I will do my best to hang around the Artesia area more. read more

Wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and decided to try this little Mediterranean spot out. The plaza is only accessible on one side of the street, so waiting for the light to make the U-turn can take a while, if you're in a hurry. Their menu had different combos and entrees, various sides, shawarma and kebabs of course! I decided to go for the shawarma because I was super hungry and I wanted a lot of meat! The kebabs looked good, but I always feel like the rice to meat ratio is always a bit off, and I didn't feel like experimenting. The order came out pretty fast, since the meat just needed to be cut off from the rotisserie. When I opened up the meal, it was jam packed with goodies and plenty of meat. I was very happy with the portions, and really liked their rice. The rice here was amazing, very flavorful, even on its own. As if it was cooked in beef juice or something! We have been coming to Kabab Crush for too many times during the past month. We love the beef kabab so much! The beef is cooked perfectly and seasoned. Personally I love the pepper flavors and the burnt parts on the end. The sides we got were the hummus and cucumber. Very tasty. I appreciate the pita bread that comes with it. I did not give the full 5 star because we ordered a pistachio baklava and it did not make it to our bag. So disappointed. I hope they will replace it at my next visit to the restaurant. read more

We were watching as people came in and picked up orders while we were waiting. After approximately 25 minutes I asked if our meals were coming soon. We were told it would be another 10 minutes approximately that they were working on meals for catering. We waited a little bit longer listening to the staticky speaker that kept going in and out.
