Good prices, good selection. I'm not too sure why people are ragging on the "fast-food" atmosphere. Give them a break, they have a piano and a flat-screen, with a subwoofer in the wall (!!) for crying out loud. It's a good spot to chill, I actually just came from there to watch the Heat/Celtics game today. There's also a series of tables set up outside in the shade. The food wasn't overdone, with "just-right" servings. It may be pricey to some, sure, but I'd rather pay a couple bucks more for more quality cuts of chicken and beef kebab. I wouldn't rank them higher than Zankou at this point in their development (for overall presentation, consistency and replay value), but Glendale, we DO have a contendah. read more

The ground beef kabobs were juicy and flavorful, and the spinach yogurt dip was so creamy and delicious!!! The hummus tasted smoky and I thought there was a hint of soy sauce or seasoning salt. They have a water dispenser by the cashier so you can serve yourself. read more

I ordered takeout today from Kabab Way and neither the cook, the two cashiers or the manager were wearing masks. I was pretty shocked. What sets this place apart is the seasonings. The chicken breast sandwich I ordered was absolutely perfect. The chicken was moist/tender, the bread was pressed, but the sauces and seasonings they're using knocked it out of the ball park. A+ The sandwich came with a side of tabouleh and hummus...not sure what to do with hummus if there's no bread to dip it in, ended up spreading the dip onto the sandwich itself. All said...the $6.99 for the sandwich was fair. But to be honest, many local kebob joints offer similar portions for $1 - $2 less. Add a drink and I ended up paying $9.43, I usually can skate away for under $7...and that's the only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars. Behind Zankou, the place has the best garlic paste. Actually, Kabab Way's paste has green basil in it, which makes it so delicious. I always save the extra paste to cook vegetables with the next day. I was looking for a falafels here, but you will not find any. If you want a vegetarian option, there's the dolma (grape leaves plate). The dolma is a bit tangy if you're into that. The lentil soup is de-lish-cious and so is the hummus. Hubby got the combo plate and says that it was very good, but he thought that the chicken was more flavorful than the beef. Fret no more puny humans, the kabob Gods have answered your prayers in the form of Kabob Way! The drive out to Glendizzle from L.A. is worth it just to get their delicious kabobs in my belly. The chicken and rice are always cooked perfectly. They have a yummy, tangy house dressing that you can choose to put on your salad (please don't choose ranch over it, that's just gross), and their hummus...... They must make it themselves because I have never had anything like it before. It's like CRACK. If they began packaging it and selling it, I would be their #1 customer! Just thinking about it right now has got my mouth watering... And their motto is hilarious. "No heartburn." It cracks me up every time.... But maybe that's just me. Because I'm lame. One last thing. This is undoubtedly one of the most underrated restaurants in Glendale! I drove by today and decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich while my companion had a Beef Shish Kabab dish. Though the décor appears a tad shabby, the food more than makes up for it. Both of our dishes were fresh, piping hot (the way I like my meals), and delicious. The meat was tender in both dishes and portions were generous. My dish came with a side of hummus and tabouleh, while the beef dish came with pita and salad with a delicious vinegar dressing. While we were chowing down, the chef came out from the kitchen and went around to each table asking how we were enjoying the food. So the service gets 5 stars from me as well! I've had better kabobs but for the price you cannot beat getting a decent helping. Granted it's a fast-food style joint, they are quick to get your order without compromising on quality. Parking is a bit limited with a lot in the back but there is plenty of street parking and I never seem to have trouble finding a spot at night. Their motto is "no heartburn" which in my personal experience, they have lived up to thus far. I tend to gravitate towards the chicken breast and beef kabab plates - so yummy and tender! Typically served with rice, pita bread, grilled tomato, chopped onions and a sided salad with your choice of dressings. Their moutabal (grilled eggplant spread) and pickled veggies sides assist with rounding out the flavors in my meals. I like this place, I come here for a quick meal every so often. The food selection is your typical middle-eastern combo plate/sandwich/salad items and everything is quite tasty. The rice is always cooked perfectly and never dry. The service is friendly and fast. The prices are good for the amount of food they give you. The cashier has asked me what dressing I would like, twice, but when I got to the food, there was none. I ordered for to go so I couldn't asked for the dressing when I found out. Rice is decent, but I felt its close to being overdone and bursten. Pita is okay. I gave it a three because the meal overall is decent. Its good, but I feel that you could get a better food and value somewhere else. Service is decent. A 10 to 15 minute wait on these kinds of restaurants are actually comforting. I wouldn't want to order something grilled that is ready within 5 minutes. *I havent ate here in a while. The waitresses/cashiers can sometimes seem a bit rude, since they treat you like a complete stranger even if you been there for awhile, but I don't really care. This is not a sit down restaurant. It's more like a fast food joint. If you decide to eat there, they'll bring the food out to your table, but they are not expecting you to tip them.
