Ordered food to go: Chicken Swarma and steak & Chicken kabob plate. Food was excellent. So much flavor. Definitely coming back.

Service here sucks! I pre ordered my dinner today at 2:30 for a 6:15 pickup only to find out it wasn't ready. We were late to get our food too! We were there around 6:25. Their excuse was their system was messed up today. Say again? If there was an issue I should be notified immediately. A lame sorry of an apology was given. Anyway, my girlfriend went in to inquire about the order and she told the waitress we still want our food and we were willing to wait. She gave the waitress a number to text her when the food was ready so she can go back in to get it. Instead of a text she got a call asking if we still wanted the food??!! By this point we were angry, frustrated and confused. Stupid us. We should've just canceled the order but we were too hungry to go elsewhere. Let's just say after this horrid experience, no one should visit this place!!! They weren't busy too! Only two tables were occupied inside. We didn't get our food till 7pm. Food is very fresh and made to order. I've had the falafel here too, very tasty! I'm a big fan of the gyro sandwhich and the kabobs. The rice is SO addicting, it will change your life. We ordered four meals and three out of the four were completely wrong. We were missing side salads and all the sandwiches had the wrong meat. When we called we spoke to Kerry and she was completely out of line yelling that our order was not messed up and our side salads were not missing saying that she packed them herself. She refused to give me her full name as well as the managers name. She also lied about calling us to confirm the modifications to our order. When we were explaining to her about t how I can get a refund for messed up order she proceeded to hang up on us. Whatever you do, don't order from here. Everything is more than great I had been there many times love their food and the service is fabulous

We sat and waited for over an hour not including standing and waiting to be seated and served our food. After that long amount of time our appetizer came AFTER our main dish and they even burnt one of our food items and forgot and messed up on a whole order! We asked for a plate with our 2 sides and chicken shawarma but were presented with a beef shawarma and they completely forgot the sides. Not happy. read more

I can't describe how flavorful the meat was, especially the shawarma. All the dishes were great, the kabob plates, shawarmas, and the philly cheesesteak. Portions were average but the taste made the price worth it, and the price itself was average. I got the lamb plate, it was good. Although the kebobs had veggies on it which is unusual for a kebab place. I wish the kebabs had more meat on them. The flavor was good on everything. Excellent flavor on the gyro and chicken shwarma! Plates with 2 sides are quite filling and affordable. This is our third visit. This local shop will surprise with its order at the counter, but sit down service with glass cups and dishes. There's nothing fast about the food or it's service which is why we keep coming back. I wanna start off this review by saying that this place came very highly recommended. So much so, that they said that it was the best gyro they've ever had. With that, we are starting high. Drove down from Oceanside to take out our father for an early Father's Day dinner because he has to work on the actual day of. We come in and it took 10 mins to get acknowledged. We were a party of 5 and the restaurant was about half full with a 2 others waiting for their online/over the phone orders. Once we assisted with putting a table together, we were finally able to be sat. It took about 10 mins to get our drink orders, 30 for our appetizer to come and over an hour to get 4 gyro sandwiches. Not a crazy order. We got checked on once and our drinks never even came with the combos. 1 of the 2 orders at the front who were waiting left because they weren't even acknowledged for 20+ mins. It's not necessarily the servers' fault as she was the only one, but there was also no sense of urgency or awareness. Perhaps they were short staffed. Def wouldn't come with a family of 5 or more because others who came in after us got their food before ours. Now onto the most important aspect of this review, the food. After such high expectations, the gyro was average at best, the fries came out cold and the drinks with the combo never even came.. all this was after waiting over an hour to get our food. I feel bad leaving 2 stars because I love to support local businesses, but hopefully this review will help them with their future customers as I will not be coming back. read more

This place is amazing!!! Let me tell you what we got! Chicken kabob sandwich, Greek salad, rice, hummus appetizer, and falafel appetizer. The chicken in the sandwich was perfect. Cooked exactly right with the best flavor. I don't even know what all was on the sandwich but whatever it was...it was good. The sandwich came with a garlic paste that was to die for. Tons of flavor! The Greek salad was also amazing. Great dressing, again, with a lot of good flavor. You get a giant portion of hummus for $6. If you plan to use it later with veggies or pita that you have at home, you'll have plenty to last a while. The falafel was some of the best I've ever had. Dipped in the garlic paste or hummus or tsaziki ..definitely try it! I stopped by here for take out on a Wednesday night and it wasn't busy at all (actually shocking seeing how good it is). The girls working in the front were really sweet and helpful. I waited about 10 minutes for freshly prepared food. This place is definitely going into my take out rotation. Finally got to try this local restaurant. My son and I tried it for lunch. It was quiet and I ordered the Greek salad, shrimp kabob with humus and my son got the combo- beef& chicken kabob, white rice.WHILE it took longer than usual to get our food( computer down); when we did get our food, itWAS DELICIOUS! The hummus is freshly made, pita bead soft and the proteins were all cooked to perfection. With my shrimp kabob, they give you a delicious lemony, garlic butter that is addictive! This was my first time ordering from this place and had it delivered today as I could t leave the house. I was so happy to get the best Chicken Lemon soup ever and a very good hefty portion too! It took my sniffles & blahs away! Also got a Baba Ganoush & Hummus-excellent home made from scratch! Lots of stars was craving all of it gave it a try. Absolutely incredible. Tried the veggie plate which came with great side choices and huge portions. Tried the babaganoush which was perfect the hummus had such great texture and the falafel had great flavor. Also ordered the tabouleh which was so fresh and bright. The service and food are actually very very good, but the problem I have with this place is the styrofoam. Hot foods in styrofoam are actually very bad for us, since styrene is leached into our food and it's terrible for the environment.. I understand the pandemic is affecting many restaurants but healthier options should be available. read more

Absolutely fantastic. This place is a gem! I ordered the combo plate with the lamb and shrimp, you get to choose two sides with it and I choose fries and hummus. The lamb is mouth watering and the shrimp is perfectly seasoned. The young girl who waited on us was welcoming attentive and helpful. Scrolling through the closest place to eat after staying at Pechanga, [nope!we didn't gamble!lol] we came across a seemingly very nice breakfast place, which, unfortunately had a very long line. We were hungry and doesn't have time to wait as we still need to drive back to OC. We found this kabob place and ordered several of their items including their Lamb Chop. It was, by far, the best that I had. I asked the BF to go have another Lamb chop when we got back to OC and boy, was I disappointed. And so, we drove back to the house of Kabob the 2nd time and ordered the same meat and it was consistently very good. Highly recommended. read more

Well I've eaten here before a couple of times and the food was good, a little pricey for the type of restaurant. However, I will not be turning after my third visit. It was take out. The reasons being my steak and lamb kabobs were over cooked and burnt. The tzatziki was really running and didn't have a good flavor. The side Greek salad was iceberg lettuce, one olive, a little red onion, red cabbage, two thin slices of tomato and the feta was nowhere to be seen. The side vegetables were way under seasoned, broccoli and carrots. To top it off the baklava was the absolute worst I've ever had. It was dry and falling apart when you tried to eat it. Really enjoyed our lunch today. This place is super clean, the staff is friendly and very attentive. We both ordered the combo plate. My mom got chicken and lamb, both perfectly cooked and tender. I ordered Kafta kabob and Gyro, both flavorful. The sides we choose were greek salad which was large and came separately not on the same plate. Also humus that was light and smooth, and the french fries were terrific! Definitely will stop here again next time in town. Food is amazing but staff has poor customer service. I called to place a phone order and was told it would take 1 hr and 20 mins. I wasn't asking for delivery so then I asked if I dined in would it still take 1 hr and 20 to get my food...her words were " it would still take a long time but your food would be coming" ....ummmm ok.. what ever that means. Maybe I'm just really craving their food and was heartbroken to hear her say that but she could've conveyed the same message in a more professional manner. This place is kinda interesting. I haven't decided if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It is a cross between self serve and semi service, if that even makes sense. You order at the counter. They give you a number and bring you the food. They do, however, control the beverage section. My first dining experience there was during their grand opening. It was quite intimidating as the whole family of the owners dominated the place and when I walked in, i got the look from everyone that seemed to say I didn't belong there. Not very welcoming. Maybe they intended the grand opening to be a family event seeing I was the only other customer other than the family. Another time I visited, I brought my sister with me for a late lunch. There were maybe two other customers aside from us. We placed our order. Got our order and everything was fine. We emptied our glasses of water and were both needing a refill. The girl from the counter was walking around the dining area, so we waited to get her attention to ask for more water. For a half empty place, she took an awful long time to get to us. My sister and I started quietly joking about some imaginary customers she was attending to. But I found it really annoying having to wait so long to get my water refilled especially when there was hardly any other customer. While the food is good, I found their customer service a little lacking. read more

A friend recommended this place to me when I was complaining about the lack of decent food in this area. I happened to be down in that part of Temecula, so it was the perfect time to check this place out. The restaurant was busy, but I think that's a good sign when you go somewhere. I'm much more wary of places that are completely empty in the middle of lunch. I got the chicken kabob plate to go and an order of falafel. The portions were way bigger than I anticipated - I could've split the entree and the falafel. The falafel was probably my favorite thing. It was cooked perfectly. The chicken kabob plate was good too (I really liked the rice). The one downside for me was the baklava. That poor baklava looked and tasted like it has been refrigerated and then sitting out. It was all squished and flat and the flavor definitely left something to be desired. I don't think that's a reason to not go back, though. Still 5 stars for me :) read more
