Combo Kabob Plate with Kafta and Chicken

Out in the middle of Temecula you'll find this gem of a Mediterranean cuisine. Decent sized restaurant with some outdoor seating and indoor seating. Their have everything you would want to have in such cuisine. Lots of appetizers, plates and sandwiches to choose from. I am always and forever going to be a fan of kabobs so I had already decided on getting the kabob combination with Kafta and Chicken kabob. It comes with choice of a couple sides and I had chosen the rice and hummus. To start, I had ordered some falafel which were nice and crispy. The kabobs were declining and the hummus was very tasty and presented very well. I also had a bite of the lamb kabob and it was one of the most tender cuts I've ever had so it's highly recommended. Service would be better and more friendly but I care about food in such places more than service.

The food was good, the hummus was tasty the baba ghanoush tasted too burnt. They did not have the drink we wanted that was on their menu, the service was quite slow, after we ordered there were many takeout orders that came out plus all of the appetizers for other tables that placed those orders long after ours was placed, so getting our food took way too long. The over all vibe of the interior was nice and appeared very clean.

Oh my gosh I just love middle eastern food! My bf surprised me with a new spot to try out and I was extremely thrilled. It's super cute inside, not a huge spot, but a hidden gem for sure. The service was great although at the time we were the only table I feel like our waitress would've been just as attentive and friendly. We decided to try the beef boreg as an appetizer. A dish I've never had before but loved the savory flavors mixed with the warm spices and the tangy tzatziki. I am a gyro fiend so i had to order that along with the rice. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The tangy tzatziki, the fresh tomato and onion, ugh, so good. I loved the lemony rice topped with sumac (I'm guessing?). My bf tried the chicken kabob plate with hummus and rice as well. The chicken was so moist and had amazing flavors, I really enjoyed the bit of tartness of the hummus as well. Presentation was beautiful on all dishes as well, I'm so excited to come back!

We had a wonderful lunch for our first time at the Kabob House today. The server was super on top of things. The ambience was cozy and modern. Everything we have was fresh and tasty along with being truly authentic. We look forward to returning and trying other menu items.

this Mediterranean spot was tasty! i always look for good quality hummus & rice and this spot had fluffy and savory rice. for my taste, i like my hummus to have a bit more garlic-y aroma, but this hummus wasn't too strong. still creamy though! their bread felt like it was not too fresh, but maybe it's because came a little later towards end of the night. their family style was pretty large! service was chill, not too many people were waiting for a table either so we just walked in. otherwise would try again if in the area.

An excellent place to eat. My wife and I enjoyed the food. I got the beef shawarma with a Greek salad and fries, my wife got the chicken kabobs with the salad also and baba ganash. Their hummus is excellent, so creamy! Our server, a young lady was very attentive and helpful, thank you. The restaurant is small and the ambiance is very pleasant. Thank you kabob house for an enjoyable dinner, we will recommend you and return.

Food is all AMAZING! Owners are Syrian and these are all their family recipes so food tastes authentic. Ordered the grape leaves, kebeh, and kabob combo with lamb, beef, hummus, salad. Service was amazing as well and restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated.

Kabob house was good. They delivered to my house, which is rare since it is a couple miles outside of Temecula. I got the combo shrimp and chicken skewer plate and my husband got the gyro plate. They gave a noteworthy amount of rice and their garlic sauce is delicious. The amount of meat was pretty measly, that's the reason for the four stars and not five. However, the price was good and can't really complain. Try it! read more

I don't even know how to describe this food other than AMAZING!! I got a Greek salad with chicken. And another with gyro. The chicken wasn't all that great I have to admit. It was on the burnt side. However the lady changed it out for me and then I got the gyro and it was melt in your mouth and full of flavor!! The pitas are soft and stay soft for awhile. The people are very nice too. The place is clean and neat as well. read more

Loved the authentic flavor! Food is fresh in flavor. Dessert was wonderful. Prices are good. Clean dining facility, including restrooms. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is the portions are pre measured. I don't like oversized portions. These portions are "just enough" but I wished they gave a little more on hummus/yogurt. read more

Tried it for the first time tonight and it exceeded our expectations! My husband and I had the gyro combo(flavorful, moist)and the beef and chicken kabob(tender juicy meat)combo we tried the Greek salad(nothing amazing, basic, not enough dressing), fries(yummy), rice(good but not as good as I had wished), pita(soft very good), tzaziki(excellent), Garlic sauce(my fav, very yummy) and hummus(soooooo goooood! Could've ate it with a spoon). I would def order everything except the rice and Greek salad again. I will be back!!!! read more

This place is amazing. Family run and being Greek the food is amazing! My son had the Dolmas, my daughter and I had Gyro sandwich, oh the meat was so tasty and flavorful. My husband had the steak kabob with rice and a salad and he said it was the best rice he has ever had. Then we had some baklava and cake and we ended up getting two more pieces for later because my daughter scarfed it up!! The only reason they didn't get one star is because their customer service is excellent. And the grape leaves weren't too bad. The food here is some of the worst Mediterranean I've ever had. The flavor was all weird, they didn't use basmati rice (which is the standard, plus they flavored the rice very strangely), the bread was poor at best, the flavor on the meat was terrible, and the portion sizes were small for the price that they're charging. I gave it a shot cause I love Mediterranean and it was close, but next time I'll definitely drive further to actually get good food. read more

Disclaimer; have only been once. I love Mediterranean food and am happy there is a place on my side of town. My greatest concern is this little restaurant is in a strip mall that has seen a lot of businesses close. There were no other customers in the place when we visited, kinda concerning. The gal working behind the counter took a phone order as we stood at the counter, after a few minutes the guy cooking the food in the back came out and took our order, which was very nice. And to continue the kindness that same guy gave me a glass of water as I coughed my head off (from allergies not sickness). The food was pretty good, and I loved the salad dressing which came with the greek salad. I would say the portions are average, not huge. The value was good. We will be back, just hope this place sticks around. read more

Its ok as long as you double check your order before you take it home. I've had the wrong items a couple times. Kinda disappointing when you get the meal home and its not what you ordered. Reviewer crtisized Baba because they had so little meat for so high a price $30 and that "bigger portions for cheaper prices can be found at Kam Zaman." So here I am. I love lamb and the moussaka lamb shank was recommended to me by my server Alejandra. $23 sounded reasonable to me. Besides the entry in the picture she gave me a basket filled with pita bread and brought me garlic butter and chopped Olive tapenade. I spread that inside the pita with the garlic butter and it was so delicious. I am taking the leftover pieces to put in my toaster oven and heat to crispy and spread the garlic spread and olive tapenade at home yum. I do not live in this area I come from San Diego and Scottsdale arizona. But I am selling my short-term vacation rental in Temecula Wine Country and I don't have any food there because it's not my home. So I found this restaurant through the bubba review. I shall eat here as long as I stay in Temecula the service is warm and welcoming and the food is very satisfying. The portion of the lamb shank and rice was generous so that I save half of it in my own takeout box to have for another dinner with a pita bread. There was only 4 falafels. I love falafel and thought the falafel lover would have more than just 4. Seemed like a rip off for what you get. My husband ordered chicken and rice and the chicken was stew-like. It looked unappetizing and he said it was gross lol I just don't understand the flavors of this Mediterranean place. We would not come back. Ambiance was midrange as it was not too busy and not dead.

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Service from the staff members were all courteous, helpful and just wonderful, All was amazing, Cheers!!Recommend

who makes you wait on hold for nearly 15 minutes ( or more) and then when they finally answer your call (5 minutes after 8pm)and tell you they are closed??????????????????????? what kind of customer service is this. what is wrong with mediterranean places in temecula, so sad. is there any good mediterranean place out here? because i thought i finally found a good wholesome family owned business, but clearly it's just a numbers game to this establishment too. i'm bummed, i got home so hungry from work, really looking forward to my favorite mediterranean place, and they treated me like i was not a paying customer. next time, please don't keep a customer on hold for 15-20 minutes just to tell them you are now closed when you finally take their call. such poor service. :( read more

I wish we would have walked out instead of waiting here. We were told that they were really busy so things may take a while, there was maybe 5 tables total including ours. We asked for water and they only brought out water to half of us. They said they would bring the rest. We had to ask for water for the others again almost a hour later. She said she hadn't brought them out because she didn't have enough cups. 15 minutes later she brought out water bottles. Our food took forever to receive and our waitress was not very helpful. Finally received our food and the meat inside was still raw. Definitely will not be coming back. read more
