Disclaimer; have only been once. I love Mediterranean food and am happy there is a place on my side of town. My greatest concern is this little restaurant is in a strip mall that has seen a lot of businesses close. There were no other customers in the place when we visited, kinda concerning. The gal working behind the counter took a phone order as we stood at the counter, after a few minutes the guy cooking the food in the back came out and took our order, which was very nice. And to continue the kindness that same guy gave me a glass of water as I coughed my head off (from allergies not sickness). The food was pretty good, and I loved the salad dressing which came with the greek salad. I would say the portions are average, not huge. The value was good. We love Kabob House. The food is delicious. We also feel that we get large portions for the price. The food is also always fresh. We have dined at a lot of Mediterranean and Greek restaurants, and Kabob House is up there with some of the best. We've only tried two different entrees (Chicken Shawarma and the Chicken Kabobs) and we like them enough that we get those every time. The Chicken Shawarma is especially tasty. This was a sweet surprise. We planned to go to The Toast, but the wait was too long so we tried Kabob House. The food was fantastic. I had Caesar Salad with shrimp. The shrimp had a spice that was a great compliment to the salad. My husband had the beef gyro with fries. The beef was tender and delicious and the fries were fantastic. They had a little spice that was delicious. The service was exceptional. She served us promptly, filled our water glasses often and was really sweet. We couldn't have had a better meal. I was excited to try this restaurant, but somewhat disappointed. I love middle eastern food and have dined at many restaurants. Unfortunately, this restaurant missed the mark. The meat on the kabobs had no flavor and was not seasoned at all. The chicken was rubbery and the steak tasted less than fresh.The rice is very similar to a generic out of a box such as Rice a Roni unfortunately. The salad dressing was decent and probably the best part of the meal. Garlic paste was passable, but should have had a bit more garlic flavor. Absolutely delicious! I am a big fan of middle eastern food and this place hits the spot! I had the chicken kabob plate w/ the lentil soup, they did not disappoint! The serving sizes are generous. I shared the plate with my 9 year old and we were both more than satisfied. The fresh made hummus is fantastic, creamy and full of flavor. The garlic dip is fantastic on the chicken as well. We really wanted to like this place based on all the reviews, however we were let down. First the servers were great hence the 2 stars. The food was lacking. For an appetizer we ordered the hummus and falafels. The hummus was watery and pita cold almost stale. The falafels were very good. I had the chicken shawarma plate and I guess I was expecting a plate of chicken. Unfortunately it came wrapped in like a pita. My wife and daughter ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and it just lacked flavor. My other daughter ordered the vegetarian plate and it was so so. Most likely not headed back here. read more

I found this place by accident last week and was more than satisfied by the quality of food and the service. I went back today to check and again was so happy with the food. The gyro sandwich was flavorful with so much filling. For $2 more you can add a side and a drink. The kabob was very tender The rice was perfectly cooked and the salad very fresh. Service was very friendly. The menu is varied and they are able to adapt dishes for dietary needs. This definitely on my list of favorite restaurants and if the standards are maintained it will be a regular destination. read more

It's unfortunate I had to downgrade them to two stars as the food is quite good and I really want to support small businesses like this one. The problem is that they have an issue with mask-wearing and following county and state health guidelines. This was my 2nd time ordering take out and on each occasion, the ladies at the cashier had masks hanging off their faces below their noses. As well, as far as I could see, none of the kitchen staff and food handlers were wearing face masks. When I last visited, there was also a large family dining inside the restaurant even though all in-dining is suspended in the county since RIverside County is still in the highest and most severe Purple Tier. I follow the science and I follow the rules. I wish this restaurant did as well. I hope the management reads this review and takes action. I ordered 2 of their large catering tray combos. I stopped by a few days before the day I needed it to put my order in. I told them I would be in at 2:30pm to pick up food. I was a little worried about having enough dressing and garlic paste. I was pleasantly surprised. When I got there right before 2:30, they were just finishing packing everything up for me. There was plenty of everything. I had almost 30 people at my house and the food was a great hit! Everyone had plenty to eat. I even had plenty of leftovers. No meat sticks left but salad, rice, hummus, garlic paste and pita. I will use Kabob House again for catering. read more

Just came for the first time and I am so excited that not only dose Temecula Parkway have a restaurant with a more diverse menu but it's freaking amazing! Fair warning- Kabob House will have you hooked from the very first meal! We found this hidden gem a little over two weeks ago and have eaten here no less than 4 times since. My favorite is the gyro plate and their grape leaves are the best I've ever had. You really can't go wrong with anything they have here. Also- when ordering for a large group, follow the guides they list. So good! We discovered Kabob House by Yelping mediterranean food - and went 4 times the first week, and at least once a week since then. Great quality meats and fresh food; everything is so tasty! I've had the gyro sandwich, chicken shawarma sandwich, greek salad and chicken kabob plate. The flavors are really yummy! The restaurant itself is very clean (which I appreciate) but kind of sterile looking. They seem to do a lot of to-go orders, and offer delivery as well. The staff is super friendly.
