I order Kaizoku's poke bowls a lot- usually online and I was very disappointed when I went inside to see that the protein scoops are barely half a spoon. One full and then 2 barely half scoops. We went here for the first time a week ago while our parents were visiting. It's more of a express Japanese restaurant as you order at the cashier, refill your own drinks, and then you get your food at the table. I got the taste the angel roll, spring rolls, and chicken teriyaki with fried rice. I really enjoyed the sushi roll as it was huge portion. I could have just had that as a meal. The chicken was well seasoned and the vegetables were good. I took off a star because the spring roll had a weird taste to it that I had never had before and did not like it. I would not order that again, also did not like the fried rice as it was kinda mushy. I ordered here again today through door dash Kaizoku roll and shumai. The roll was very delicious but the shumai tasted too watery I think it might have been over steamed. I will definitely come back again as I enjoyed the sushi from here but I will not order anything else. read more

If you have not been to Kaizoku in Indian Trail you are missing out. One of our favorite go to restaurants in the area. Their poke bowls are some of the best I've had & if you like calamari try the Tako Yaki appetizer. They also serve teriyaki, hibachi & sushi rolls. Food is always fresh & delicious and their staff could not be any more accommodating. Highly recommend! read more

So - this place was okay. The portions are giant. The food is okay. I was really excited to try this place. I think the value is good when you're buying the poke bowls. I tried to finish the whole bowl and honestly couldn't. If you're craving sushi I would suggest going to Mr. Tokyo over this place. read more

They have a great hibachi steak with rice and vegetables. I have had it at least 6 times already and keep coming back. They even have a great yum-yum sauce. I tried the sesame chicken but didn't like that as much. Planning to try the poke bowl on my next visit. I would recommend that they get better forks though. Very flimsy and hard to eat with. Give the place a try, I promise you won't be disappointed!!!! read more

First time trying! Very comfortable atmosphere, the counters, where the orders are placed, are a bit funky. Other than that the food is phenomenal, and not much of a wait! Would recommend to anyone in the area! read more

This place is great! Very friendly staff and clean environment. They have great choices for poke bowls as well they have other menu ideas. Fairly priced. I come here atleast 2 times a month. The only thing is a tried their new ramen noodles and needles to say they were very disappointing. It comes pre packaged and you just add the broth. Not very tasty. But will definitely be back for their regular menu items. read more

Great fresh poke bowls over spring mix greens here. You can get it over rice or salad. They have diakon radish, fresh jalapenos, and seaweed salad. I have also had the hibachi shrimp here as well. There ramen is also very good with tempura shrimp. read more

Very Delicious!!! The kaizuko roll and the shrimp tempura roll are a staple. The ramen noodles are tender and juicy and flavorful everything was just very good and tasty, the teriyaki sauce is seasoned well and the everything throughly cooked and my order was exact and the wait time wasn't long all in all great place great food great customer service great experience and in a great area.!! Pleasant poke place. The portions were large and ingredients were fresh. A 2 meat bowl is $10.95 and a 3 meat bowl is $13.50. I got a double spicy tuna bowl with ginger, cucumber, pineapple, oshiko, and poke sauce and it was delicious! I like that I can customize my poke bowl any way I like it, but it would be nice if there were some suggested bowls for the indecisive. I will definitely be stopping here again when I'm in the area. read more

Went there to have dinner with my daughter, it was totally empty. We walk up to the counter and a waitress is taking selfies, she did not acknowledge our presence at all. Another employee comes from the kitchen area and again we are not greeted. Lastly a guy comes in the back door from emptying trash, he didn't say a word either. We left! read more

Kaizoku has the best poke bowls and sushi! I order from them at least once a week, and my meals are consistently delicious. Their hibachi options are also wonderful and worth the price. I appreciate that they staple their to-go bags so your food stays nice and hot. I highly recommend trying Kaizoku! read more

I've had worse but don't know where! Ordered fried rice, got tough steamed rice. Chicken was WAY overcooked- dry very dry. TASTELESS meal even after adding low sodium soy sauce. Asked them if they use MSG, they didn't know, they phoned the manager at home to ask. No supervisor on duty......against regulation. See no reason to ever go back. Water was cold. read more

Kaizoku's vegetarian and vegan options are delicious, their customer service was great, and the restaurant's interior was gorgeous. I highly enjoyed the fried rice (with no egg) and the hibachi noodles. The only downside is that this restaurant is not vegetarian or vegan, just a regular restaurant that provides vegetarian and vegan options. I regularly eat at this restaurant and I doubt I will ever stop! read more

i ordered food and when i got home to eat it it was cold and a little tip add more food it was a small meal i rather eat at kami's at waxxaw
