    Hawaiian Pizza

This is seriously the BESTEST Pizza I ever had. I was here the other day at 3pm but they were already closed because they sold out. Had to drive from Kapalua to try again and the service was excellent and food was divine! Thank you so very kindly and keep up the excellence!

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Kaanapali from the airport. I asked for a recommendation, and it was perfect! My husband I shared a white pie with mushrooms and sweet Maui onions. The employee recommended adding bacon, which we did. I don't usually like onions on pizza, but the sweet Maui onions are on a totally different level and added so much goodness. Oh my gosh -- it was just delicious! There are plenty of tables for outdoor seating.

Good pepperoni pizza. Wish it was a bit more done like many of the other pictures.

Overall, good pizza. The sauce and cheese were both flavorful. The pepperoni was spicy and had the right amount of grease. My one disappointment is that it was a tad undercooked which made the crust a bit chewy. Several people around me and many of the pictures on Yelp showed a much more well done crust. Will be sure to ask for that next time. Regardless, good pizza for Maui, at least. And I dare you to tell me your favorite pizza place has a more beautiful view. Just be on the lookout for the rooster that wanders around glaring at you.

this pizza is so good! we noticed it on our way to the beach and decided to stop by, it was so good we had to go a 2nd time later in the week. the service is amazing, and the worker was super nice and friendly. the pizza also came out super quick!

Beautiful location with multiple flowers and high mountains around. Decent parking all around and even the butterfly grove next door! The service was super quick and nice homey atmosphere. The Hawaiian pizza was nice for the fresh tasting dough. I think the dough was a bit too flimsy.

This is by far the best pizza we had in ages! My boyfriend and I are Italian, born and raised, we live in L.A. and we kind of gave up on having an actual, good pizza (a lot of things are called with the same name...) When we saw Kamala's menu we got suspicious as usual. Prices were high, especially for an Italian (We usually pay less than $10 for a simply fantastic pizza in Italy). Then we saw it... it seemed authentic...then we tried it...and we were in heaven! We got to meet the chef, Sam, who's from Puglia. A sweet, humble guy who even offered me a drink because it was my birthday! We definitely recommend his pizza and the lovely farm with plenty of gorgeous hens

It's Christmas Day. While driving back for the third time in a week from the airport to Honua Kai resort we noticed Kamala's was open for business so we stopped. I've been eying this place for days and we had no plans (reservations) for dinner which likely meant limited options on a holiday. Even Taco Bell near the airport was closed. There were quite a few people in line and already waiting for orders. Some customers were not very nice about having to wait. The kind lady who took my order warned me it would be a long time as they were behind. I assured her we were in no hurry and told her I was grateful they were open on Christmas Day. We ordered the pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas and then found a nice shaded spot at a picnic table. It's a lovely area next to a farmers market stand which is always busy. We had previously shopped there and bought lots of local hot sauces. Side note: definitely check this out if you are in the area. Other side note: the banana cream pie and guava chiffon pie from Leoda's Pie shop next door are to die for...but I digress! Anyway, we only waited about 25 mins for our pizzas. They came out piping hot and beautiful. They looked delicious and they were. The sauce was so flavorful. The crust had the right amount of salt. The kahlua pork on the bbq pizza was divine as was the sauce and cheese on both pizzas. The crust had a nice char which I love! It's also a thinner crust which I also love! The pizza probably could have cooked a tad longer as the bottom was a little doughy but again, they were extremely busy, did I mention this was Christmas Day?! and the flavors and freshness of the ingredients far outweighed this minor imperfection. Highly recommend on any day of the year. Please remember always be kind when people are working hard so you don't have to...especially on a holiday! Mahalo!

Insanely delicious pizza! I highly recommend stopping by at Kamala's Kitchen. There is a beautiful view to sit and eat and plenty of seating space. Staff is also incredibly friendly!!

Margherita and a very happy boy ready to enjoy.

We come here every time we are in Maui (yearly), and always make multiple trips during our stay. Our family of 5 adores this pizza. There is something addicting about the crust, sauce, and quality ingredients. It's the best pizza we've had, and we have had A LOT of pizza in our lifetime. We never have leftovers at Kamala's. Julian is very kind and hospitable. The pizzas were made to order, the wait was not long, and the picnic tables under the lovely monkey pod trees are family friendly. Enjoy Maui's best pizza at Kamala's.

Wow! Julian's pizza needs a line 'round the block! By the time we got it home, it was cold AND STILL DELICIOUS!! The bacon, sausage and pepperoni were delicious. Ample veggies. Delicious thin crust. And the sauce! Fortunately, we can come back for dinner this time, before we leave. Next time we'll eat there on a picnic table. It takes about 10 minutes to make a pizza, so let's make Julian, who is a sweetie BTW, do what he loves to do! Make lots of pizza!! You won't be disappointed!! And how beautiful it is under the epically huge trees at the front!

Their oven baked thin crust pizza is sooo good. We tried the Huli Huli Chicken with pesto, goat cheese and caramelized onions, the Kamala's special with pepperoni, pineapple and pepperoncini, and the Margaretha pizza.

Loved the pizza at Kamala's Kitchen. We got there around 3:45 so it was quiet and no line ups. Delicious margherita and meat lovers pizza and fabulous thin crust. Perfect after a day of beach hopping! Eat at the picnic tables or take home to enjoy.

My wife's sister, who just moved away from Hawaii told us about this place. She told us we had to come here. She made sure to mention to carve out a couple hours of the day, because we'll be waiting in line. As you can see pictures from other people's reviews, that's definitely the case. We took an Uber over there, and as soon as we got in the car and the driver mentioned the address he said, are y'all ready to wait?!?! I think we got there around 10 AM and the line was already long! We knew we would have to be very patient this day. Luckily it wasn't super hot outside so that helped with the waiting process. They did have someone come around and offer coffee and water to purchase while we waited in line. I thought that was pretty smart under the circumstances that everyone has to deal with while waiting here. After probably a 2 hour wait... we finally got in! They have other options of things to eat. Scones, croissants and things like that. We were there for the star player... the cinnamon roll! These things are huge! My wife and I said since we waited so long, we might as well get two and enjoy one of them for later. I never envisioned myself waiting two hours for a cinnamon roll, or any other type of treats, but this was well worth it. We wanted to have one while it was fresh out the oven, so we found a bench to sit at around a bus stop. It was so soft, pretty much melted in your mouth. The icing was tasty. It was so fresh, it's the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. I'm sure spending two hours of your time being in Maui you don't want to sit in line waiting on something like a cinnamon roll, trust me I felt the same way. After doing this, I WILL do it again the next time I'm there! Next time, I would be there first thing in the morning and waiting in line before they open up, that way I'll have time for other activities around the island that I have planned for the day. The wait is worth it, and I highly suggest this place!

The cookies are delicious, I love that they put pistachios in it & it's not overly sweet, they were my favorite. The cinnamon rolls unfortunately fell short for me. There was something about them that just didn't "wow" me enough to be believing the hype. However, I'm still glad that I tried it. & to each their own.

It's cool up there, and it adds to the cozy, Upcountry vibe. Marlow is a lively spot with an open kitchen that makes the whole experience feel energetic and welcoming. Definitely make a reservation. We ran into a delay getting up the hill due to a downed utility pole and messaged through the OpenTable app. Eden, who was hosting that night (and we later learned also serves), immediately called us, walked us through the menu, and even got our order started so we wouldn't hold up service. She was incredibly knowledgeable and set the tone for the evening with genuine hospitality. At the bar, Jesse, our bartender, took great care of us. From the drink menu, he made an excellent Black Cherry Manhattan with Burning Chair bourbon, Cocchi di Torino, cherry, and Angostura bitters--smooth, balanced, and delivered tableside. We also enjoyed a bottle of Gamay wine, which paired beautifully with the food and rounded out the meal. For dinner: * Mafaldine Bolognese (Lopes Farm beef, gremolata, parm - dinner only) was rich and comforting. My wife loved it. * Steak Tagliata (horseradish crème fraîche, herb verde - dinner only) was cooked perfectly and full of flavor--my dad cleaned his plate. * I had the Funghi white pie with local mushrooms, mozzarella, garlic confit, and parmigiano, and it was outstanding--earthy, balanced, and satisfying. Dessert capped things off nicely, and by the end of the night we were happily full. A special shoutout to Kira, our server--kind, fun, and professional. It was neat finding out she's also a Maui High grad, from a different generation, but with that same local pride and warmth that makes dining in Hawaiʻi special. Big mahalo to the kitchen crew--you can feel the care and teamwork in every dish. Payment was easy using Toast, which we appreciated. All around, Marlow delivers thoughtful food, great cocktails, and genuine hospitality. It's wonderful to have a fun, lively, open-kitchen restaurant in Upcountry Maui. We'll absolutely be back.

This was about 6:00 pm for dinner. The vibe is casual but trendy. A buzz of activity was going on. Everything we tried was just bursting with flavors! We started out with the meatballs which were as good as grandma's, who made the best, of course. I would categorize them as "Memorable Meatballs". The sauce that came with them (2 of them) was perfect in every way. The chopped salad was large enough for three people and was fresh and delicious. The dressing was a great complimentary addition to the greens. The braised pork pizza was over the top good. Just the right amount of char on a sourdough crust and a sauce that was just full of flavor. The Lilikoi butter provided a bright spot on the tomato palate. This I believe, helps make this pizza unique. The prawns were large and you get six. They tasted great , soaked in chimichurri . They would be perfect with just a little less salt and a bit more garlic. Mushrooms in crème fraiche, just outstanding. Note that the emphasis is on the sauce, not the mushrooms. For dessert was the gelato with fennel pollen, honey, olive oil, and sea salt. This is an absolute must to try, it's divine. The Panna cotta is rich and silky, nicely done. There is a decorative crumble on top that adds a little crunch and gives the dish a good presentation. There are some sweet floral notes in the custard, most likely cardamom. The ginger fizz drink is very good with a nice ginger kick without tasting like ginger ale. A well constructed mocktail. The vibe in the morning is about a 180 degree turn about. There is no table service, not busy enough. Order at the counter. The cheerful night time ladies have been replaced by a solitary glum teen who is not happy and maybe don't even like the people she has to deal with in the morning. She is efficient though. Nevertheless, the quiche was great. Great flavor, great crust, interesting top glaze that was different from any I've seen. The latte featured the same topping of fennel pollen, etc. that was on the gelato last night. Pretty amazing version of a latte. My suggestion, to make it perfect, is to order it with an extra shot in a large ceramic cup. The bathroom here is clean and I never encountered a line.
