The food was great the service was not. I was seated and waited 10 minutes to be greeted. The waitress was either too busy or didn't care about the table with one patron. It felt like she didn't care. No specials were discussed, no asking if I had questions about the menu. My food came, but I'm still not sure it was what I ordered. I requested the prime rib sandwich but I'm fairly certain they sent out the steak sandwich. I asked for a salad on the side when she asked my side. The salad didn't come with the food or even before the food. I had to ask for it. I'm pretty disappointed that I had to ask if they had dessert. She seemed put out when I asked about dessert. I opted not to get it. Normally, I leave a great tip. But it's a thanks for great service. I felt let down with service. I also do not appreciate being called darlin'. It's not cute. My Wife and I stopped Wednesday to have steak dinner. She ordered the filet mignon and I ordered the large rib eye. She could not eat hers because it smelled and tasted sour. My rib eye had a slight sour taste as well as being burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Wow! First time visiting and we would definitely go back! The service was amazing, the drinks were superior and the steaks were grilled to perfection! Jennifer was our waitress and she was very personable and efficient! She had great recommendations about everything from appetizers and drinks to main courses. If there was one draw black, it would be that their beer list is pretty limited, but the bottle of wine we chose paired perfectly with the steaks. The location is on the main thoroughfare from Missoula going north to Kalispell. But totally worth the drive down from Ronan. The salads were fresh and the homemade honey mustard dressing was a perfect combination of sweet and savory. The website mentions 'Reservations Recommended' and I would definitely agree! The place was packed full on a Wednesday night! I can't imagine what a weekend night would be like! It's super easy to pop online and reserve a spot. They text you to confirm before you go, so that was a very nice feature as well! Overall, it was a fabulous experience and I am looking forward to going again! Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was cozy and friendly! Dinner for 4, including steaks all around, a bottle of wine, a craft cocktail, and 5 beers was 250.00, before tip. Food was delicious, great rib eye cooked perfectly for my liking, service was good, they had type of table in the bar area that I requested. It was my first time there and I really appreciate how they have the layout, I really like a separate eat in bar area separate from dining area. This restaurant is new since we moved away 4 years ago. Came back for family and went with a group tonight. The food was amazing! My husband had the prime rib and declared it the best he's ever had. I rarely leave reviews, but I'm so disappointed with the food we received and bad experience we had at Kamp Fire last Friday I just couldn't let this one go. My sister was out visiting and we took the whole family out for dinner. The first sign of problems was when the service plates came out. They had dried food and were soaking wet with dirty dishwater. So I sent them back for clean plates. Then we ordered drinks, which were ok although my margarita was only 2/3 full. No huge deal but kind of disappointing. Then the food. Real problems here. One ordered a burger and asked for medium rare. It was literally RAW meat so he sent it back (he's only sent one other meal back in his life). When it came back they didn't bring a new burger, they just scraped the topping off and reused the bun and everything. I thought that was pretty poor given the prices. It was embarrassing. My sister ordered Walleye and the breading was gummy and also undercooked, she's not very picky so it must have been pretty bad. My wife and two daughters all ordered carne asada tacos. The meat was barely cooked and it was also basically seared and raw. The flour taco shells were burnt and tough. They all 3 barely ate the food. I ordered a baseball ribeye, medium and a baked potato. They were out of baked potatoes (omg) so I had mashed. The steak was also rare at best. Purple center not even close to being cooked medium. We already sent the burger back so I didn't want to send something else back. I've never had a worse dining experience. The food was terrible. I was embarrassed that I took everyone out to this place. We used to go to the Bucksnort which was the previous restaurant a couple times a month. NEVER had a bad meal. We live pretty close and this was our go to restaurant. I really wanted them to be successful but if they don't put out a better product they won't last long. It's not cheap but it felt cheap. We will not be back for awhile and hope they can find someone who knows how to cook in the meantime. If I get another bad experience we will not return. read more

The food was quality as well as quantity. The service was outstanding, our server was always there ensuring our dining experience was pleasant. The ambiance was very nice, we went at a time where it wasn't too busy (5pm). I will enjoy referring this steakhouse to friends and plan to go again read more
