Kan Sushi is a AYCE restaurant available in only 3 locations across the US, with one of them being in Honolulu, on the out skirts of Waikiki along Ala Moana Blvd. For the OGs and locals, it took over another AYCE sushi/buffet location previously known as Todai. I went with my friend to take advantage of their weekday Lunch special which was priced competitively at $28.95. I really can't think of another place in the islands that offers AYCE sushi at this price point. My favorites were the ninja tuna, snowflake salmon, and the non-rice containing sushi rolls Salmon to the Moon, Roly Poly, Creamy S&S. For what you pay, I think there's a lot of value and would love to come back again soon.
Kan Sushi offers AYCE sushi for lunch and dinner. You can opt for general or premium AYCE (price difference). My boyfriend and I opted for regular dinner AYCE. We found street parking nearby, but also know Kan Sushi guests often park in a garage adjacent. I believe street parking is cheaper! We ordered a variety of rolls and nigiri. I appreciate how Kan sushi offers non-sushi foods such as tempura and meats. If doing AYCE, I'd recommend ordering two rolls at a time. They come slowly but are quite filling. To maximize on the fish, opt for nigiri or sashimi! Be sure not to order too much at once, as they charge for waste. The reason for the one-star dock is I found a hair in one of my nigiri. It was pressed into the rice, wedged in between the fish and rice. I didn't mention it to the staff because it happened towards the end of the night. I didn't want to cause any issues! Another issue I had was the amount of rice to fish. The staff were all very young, but hardworking. It wasn't too busy upon arrival, but grew busier with time. The restaurant felt understaffed, given the high demand of AYCE eaters. Our server was very good! He gave us plenty of napkins and ginger when we asked. Friendly too! Truthfully, I'm more likely to check out other AYCE sushi places before this one.
Excellent quality fish and portions for the lunch AYCE. Haven't done AYCE sushi in a long time, but definitely thought this was worth the lunch price for the amount of food u get per serving + the quality and taste of the food. The calamari was the best AYCE calamari I've ever had personally. Definitely recommend the carpaccios, a nice balance of citris and vinegary flavors. Service was good, despite at the time them being understaffed with only 2 waiters, they were doing their best and were communicative and as attentative as they could be given their situation. Thank you to them for hustling. Inside is very clean as well. Def recommended the lunch AYCE price!
We went for lunch at $28.95 AYCE sushi (excluding the premium stuff) on a Sunday morning at 11 AM as soon as they opened. No lines. PROS: - very sweet server, very friendly - excellent price in Waikiki, or anywhere, for an AYCE! - everything tasted fresh - large selection of seating choices CONS: - frequently missing or messed up orders. My baked lobster roll went to another table and they tried to give us miso soup we didn't order. - extremely long waits for some items, inconsistently. For example, my Hot and Fresh roll came within a few minutes, but for my second order, it took over 35 minutes; the waitress was nice enough to pack it up for me to go since I wasn't happy about it. My co-worker said her record wait-time for sushi was 45 minutes for one order, I guess this is par for the course, given the hundreds of orders people place and can get mixed up, wrong, or not even show up. - water refills were not given automatically, we had to ask, and all three of our glasses were completely empty. Asking anyone other than our server went on deaf ears and completely flat affect with no response. NEUTRAL: - parking is available but it's pricey for local standards at $6.00/hr at Canterbury Place. If you want free parking, you'll have to go on a Sunday and walk from the streets, at the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor near the beach (limited free stalls), or buy something at Ala Moana Shopping Center and then walk to Kan Sushi (about an 18 min walk, but faster if you cut to the left of the Ala Wai Canal along the Ala Wai Blvd, right on Lipe'epe'e Street, modified left onto Hobron Lane (stop by Kulu Kulu cakes on Hobron before you go home), right onto Ena lane and left onto Ala Moana Blvd and Kan is right around the corner. TIPS: - you can supposedly order 4 things at a time, per person. If they let you order more, I'd go ahead and do it, since we were the first people into the restaurant, and the 8th to leave due to food coming out slowly or not at all. A huge group of about 25 people came in soon after, and that could have had something to do with it. - order the meats first since they come out first (and fast to cook compared to making a sushi roll by hand), then order the rolls. - make sure you stop by Kulu Kulu for sweets and pastries on Hobron Lane (walking distance) for a sweet treat after. I hear there is an ice cream shop underneath the building that Kan Sushi sits on, but Kulu Kulu is a well-deserved treat if you are willing to splurge for top-notch, 5- star sweets.
This AYCE restaurant combines my two favorite loves - Korean BBQ and sushi! The restaurant is right across from Fort DeRussy and diagonal to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. There is ample parking in the parking garage right behind the restaurant. We got here early (around 6pm) on a weekday. The place was not crowded yet but a flood of customers came in shortly after we arrived. The service was friendly but slow. There was only one server handling an entire section of around ten tables so we had to wait quite a while for our drinks and food to arrive. There needed to be at least one more server or server assistant to handle the multiple requests from guests. However, our server was patient and handled himself well. He knew we were waiting for quite a while to get our food and made sure to apologize and give us updates on the wait. The food was excellent. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was way too busy stuffing my mouth with all this goodness! There is a nice selection of meats, side dishes, and sushi rolls. You can upgrade to the premium meats for $20.00 more to get wagyu and other specials, however, we felt satisfied with the regular menu selections. Keep in mind that if one person decides to upgrade, everyone on the table has to upgrade is well. The price is reasonable ($38.95) and I much rather go here than Gens any day! Definitely will be back for more sushi and korean bbq!
Came across Kan Sushi because it's conveniently adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Arrived for an early dinner about 5:15p, and it was not busy with about 5 other parties that we saw. While the food was pretty good, the service was terrible! We inquired about our food while took a while to come out, also asked for more water; even asking the waitress if they can clear off or table. Wasabi and ginger, which is typically provided first, came last; only asking for it multiple times. For being All You Can Eat, you'd think many people would want to order multiple dishes, etc. Perhaps they need to hire more workers to expedite things!
Our first time here with our Ohana so let be break it down for sushi & meat connoisseurs. A table for 7 and Joseph took care of us. Celebrated two birthdays and we cleared 20 dishes of different sushi-Tom & Jerry; dynamite sushi; Tiger roll, California rolls, Roli Poli (guessing); fried oyster, fried squid, shrimp tempura, Hawaiian Steak, grilled pork belly; Kalbi; cucumber salad, -like I said, we ate! Joseph helped us with recommendations to try & it didn't disappoint. Mahalo to Joseph & crew at Kan Sushi!! Ohhh can't forget the sushi chefs!!!
Came here for an early dinner surprisingly not much wait for walk-in on a Saturday. Ordered our sushi, crunch roll, dragon roll, tiger roll, yam bam cruncher and salmon and shrimp nigiri, takoyaki, kalbi and whole bunch more. I'm pleased with how fast the service was. The rolls came out quickly back to back with each order probably because it wasn't super busy. All rolls were pretty tasty. Minus one star just because this is the first time ive had bones in dragon rolls or any rolls with unagi on it. Yes i know fish comes with bones but I would assume higher quality sushi restaurants usually take out the bone. Sakura doesn't have any bones in their unagi. I had a bone stuck in my throat but I didn't overreact in the restaurant but while driving home I had to pull over to try and take it out because it got painful with every swallow. Ambiance is nice, restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Nothing too fancy. Nice and casual.
Great service and very affordable food, considering its elegant atmosphere, they charge an affordable price. Service was very nice amd sweet, she even warned us about our order (6pc premium) sashimi could be a little too much for our party, and she was right! I thought 6pc= 6 pieces, but rather, they meant SIX different fish. Loved everything, i wish ive taken more pictures of my food, but they were just so good i couldnt wait.
Okayyy so the only reason I didn't give this a 1 star is because the manager Joseph is amazing & really made it his goal to make us leave happy and wanting to come back for HIM. So 5 stars for Joseph, 1 star for food/experience. We got there at 9:30pm on a Saturday night, and they close at 11pm. We got all you can eat normal menu ($40), they also have other premium options at ($55 per person & above). So nice place that you'd expect good service, and execution. We only got one round of all you can eat sushi and at 10:25 we are trying to put another round of sushi ( we had one round ) and they're like oh not sure if we are still taking orders, last call passed. We never were told & again they had 35 mins until closing. We felt rushed & like a bother. After some hesitation from the crew, we got another round & they gave us frozen takoyki. All rolls were incorrect / rushed. They just threw random stuff on Cali rolls and pushed them out. The sushi was decent quality but not anything I'd pay the big price tag of $55 per person for. We notified the manager, Joseph, and he was sooo sweet and helpful! we appreciate it Joseph, even gave us his phone number & special nigiri off the premium menu & did everything to make it right. I appreciate him for that, and after thought I would want to give them a try again because of Joseph, but I know better all you can eat sushi spots for cheaper, better quality sushi & just a better overall experience so I think I'd skip next time around. Picture was our take home box. Also the sushi left us with scratchy throats and congestion, and we are avid sushi eaters, which could be because sushi was slightly warm = more histamine in fish.
If you're staying near Hilton Hawaiian Village, do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Kan Sushi Hawaii. The fish was incredibly fresh, the service was friendly and attentive, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Every roll and sashimi dish tasted high-quality and beautifully prepared. A special shout-out to Emily, our server, who was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and helped make the experience even more enjoyable with her great recommendations and excellent service. Whether you're a local or visiting Waikiki, Kan Sushi is absolutely worth a visit. Come hungry and leave happy...you won't be disappointed!
I absolutely love Kan Sushi! I ate here recently for the first time. It was my cheat meal for the week and I'm so glad we went here to fufill my sushi craving. It was a recommendation from a friend and was also rated pretty good on Yelp. I saw a video on Youtube as well and that's what sealed the deal for me. We ate here on a Saturday night around 7pm. I saw on Yelp that they don't take reservations over the phone for parties under 6 people so we had to do a walk in reservation only. We parked next door under the old Wailana Coffee House Restaurant since I heard it was cheaper than parking under Kan Sushi. I checked in at the front desk and our wait time was only 25mins. They take your phone # so that they can notify you via text message when your table was ready. We just waited outside until it was our turn and there was a good amount of people waiting too. They send you a link so that you can see what your position is in line on the waiting list just in case you want to explore the shops near by. While walking in, we noticed that the restaurant was really full. Waiters were running around and it seemed that our waiter was super busy so one of the managers took our order initially so that we didn't have to wait too long. We decided to go with the Premium AYCE price since we were ready to eat everything we could on the menu and the premium included the A5 Wagyu and Uni. Sadly, they were out of the A5 but we had free reign over everything else on the menu minus the drinks. We ordered about 7 items each for the first round and then ordered more as we finished each dish. Here's the list of everything we tried: Tunapeno Roll Bonnie and Clyde Roll Cholesteroll (Manager Recommendation) Sea Salt Edamame Spicy Beef Gyoza Shrimp Tempura Takoyaki Garlic Pork Bun Jalapeno Bomb Beef Bulgogi Hawaiian Steak Spicy Pork Bulgogi Baked Mussels Korean Chicken Wings Tuna Tataki Premium Sashimi Platter Negitoro Gunkan Cucumber Salad Micro Spring Salad Seaweed Salad Yellowtail Carpaccio Sweet Green Tea I'm probably missing a few others but overall, everything we had did not disappoint at all! All of these dishes were delicious and I'm glad I didn't get too many rolls or I would have been too stuffed to eat anything else. There were only 2 of us at our table and we ate everything I listed plus some I ordered more than once. We were super satisfied with our experience here. They don't have a dessert menu but that sweet green tea was a nice little treat in between bites. The waiter that was assigned to us did an awesome job keeping up with our orders and making sure we didn't go thirsty. The price was worth it at $60 per person! I will keep coming back here and can't wait for our next dine in at Kan Sushi! I already recommended them many times to friends and family and might be coming back with a larger party in the future. I know there are plenty of comments in the reviews saying that their customer service isn't the best but we saw that they actually are trying to improve and do better. We didn't wait too long for anything and got everything we ordered. Food and drinks came quickly so we were in and out in less than an hour. I highly recommend this restaurant to all you sushi lovers. It's the best All You Can Eat Sushi establishment on the island! Thanks again Kan Sushi! We'll see you in the future for more!

For an AYCE sushi join, the quality of their foods was pretty good! Knowing that this was an AYCE joint, we started with sashimi first. We added the hamachi kama, a few fried foods and of course some sake. We thought we could fit more sushi into our bellies so we ordered sushi. The quality of their rice wasn't that great, but it wasn't bad either. I like that the pieces of fish is big and they use little rice. You can fit the whole thing into your mouth :) If you go during non peak hours.. a little before dinner time, you'll get amazing service. Once it starts to get busy, our server got busier and forgot some of the orders we placed. On the bright side, we were extremely full and thought we could eat a lot more. They do charge extra if you don't eat what you ordered. Side note: If you park inside of the building and take their stairs, you end up entering the restaurant from their back/side entrance. Their main entrance is off of Ala Moana... so if you do end up on their side entrance, just walk through the restaurant to check in with the server up front. Came here for dinner with my Auntie and had a great experience. The food is always solid, but the service really stood out this time. The manager, Joseph (cute) was super welcoming and made sure we were taken care of as soon as we walked in. Our waiter, Tyler, was awesome too--really friendly, fast with the drinks, and foodsssss! First time for our family to eat at this Restaurant. The variety of food was excellent - We ordered the AYCE - great food - so tasty, delicious, and beautiful presentation. Our server Hanna was awesome. Dishes she recommended were excellent. Overall food, service, ambiance were excellent. Hanna was very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and courteous. We should have left when we walked in and had to wait for someone to come greet us. When someone did come, we were seated near a window and told Wyatt would be over to assist us. The server, Wyatt, was low energy but nice. We ordered the all you can eat (everyone at the table has to order it). The food was okay but we've definitely had better rolls. However, I recommend the baked lobster roll, the baked scallop roll & truffle fries. The salmon skin roll was inedible. The garlic chicken & beef bulgogi were both weirdly textured. We came here last week with friends and it was a good time for sure. Located in the old Todai's in Waikiki, we were excited for some all you can eat sushi. Arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too crowded. I will say, the food did take a long time considering it wasn't very busy. With that in mind, I would not come here when it's busy because I could see how you might not get your food. The menu was pretty massive, lots of options including a lot of non sushi items. Although we had a nice time, I'm not sure if I would go back however I do think we ate our monies worth haha! read more
5/5 for me!!!!! I think this is my new spot!!! Came on a Saturday night, saw there's no wait list but decided to put our names down. They said it'll be around 40 mins. Not bad since we're in Waikiki, might as well enjoy the night. After about 40 mins we got the text that our table was ready, so we made our way in. Just FYI, there's inside seating in case you don't want to wait outside. Our waiter came to us right away, he asked for drinks and then we took our time looking at the menu. He came back and we ordered our first rounds of food and drinks. I got the Moscow Mule and it was great! We ordered soooooo many things, too many to include here. Our waiter was amazing! 10/10 service! It seems like everyone is super attentive here and work as a team which is nice. I remember the old todai being here but glad they turned it into a business that is actually super tasty and great to be at! Will definitely be coming back! The ambiance was nice, they play local music which I loved cuz good food + good music = golden star from me!!! Parking was a bit sketchy, we parked right next door and they didn't say anything nor was there a QR code to scan for parking as I've read in other reviews searching for parking help. My partner brought us here for our anniversary. I have been wanting to try AYCE sushi for a while and was looking forward to trying this spot. We got there around for an early dinner so it was not crowded yet. We were sat by the window which was nice and was seated right away. There was a party going on as well but nothing too chaotic. The staff always came back to take our orders and were attentive. Most importantly, the quality of the fish was good. I would like to say it was good for an AYCE place, but I would not rate it high quality enough to splurge on if you are looking for that. Overall, it was a nice experience and I am glad I tried it. I would say it is in the higher price range so if you are looking for an experience with loved ones this is the place but if you are looking for a high quality meal, then I would suggest other options for sushi. read more

Kan Sushi has a wide selection, unique fusion, and simple sushis to choose from. Like the doritos roll having nacho cheese dorito crumbs on a shrimp tempura unagi roll was oddly tasty. Visited once again and the experience is never disappoints. I was really craving some sushi and knew that I could each more than my wallet could handle so AYCE is it! I got the same server as I did last time if I remembered correctly. Very pleasant and helpful. Everything was super delicious and we were beyond stuffed afterwards. Not sure if I've mentioned this previously but one of my critics is the extremely dark lighting. I understand it is for the ambiance and sets the mood for the restaurant but I just feel like some parts of the restaurants can get wayy too dark especially at night but it's fine before the sun sets as they have the blinds up. read more

Ambiance: 10/10 Service: great, our server was Jake I believe and he had excellent customer service & very helpful, came to check up on us often. * we did dine in on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Had the chance to eat here today for lunch with my family. It was good. We loved the all you can eat option which was the main reason why we came here. You have to get the garlic Bao Bun & the okonami fries!! 5 stars on those two items alone. The restaurant was on the quieter side when we went but we possibly just got there at a good time. I feel like it could get super busy at dinner time. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is be because we waited really long for our last sushi roll. All of our other plates came out really fast. Almost immediately actually, but for some reason we waited almost 20 minutes for the last one. The parking is located at the back of the building. We paid $13 for 2 hours. Which was just enough time for us. If you love all you can eat sushi. This is your spot. read more

Current Prices $28.95 M-Th till 3pm / $38.95 dinner Split into 2 different menus: Regular & Premium for extra $20 Sadly Truffle Salmon Nigiri (My previous favorite) is now only part of the premium menu. There is the Black Philadelphia which has some truffle oil. Decent alternative. Recommend: Gyoza, Takoyaki, Tuna Nigiri, Tuna Tataki Nigiri, Snowflake Salmon Nigiri, Peppered Salmon Nigiri, Roly Poly, Baked Scallop Roll, Yam Bam Cruncher, Salmon to the Moon, After Rain Roll, Black Philadelphia (for the truffle lovers). Disliked: Bao Buns, Miso Soup, Garlic Chicken, Escolar Nigiri Service: We had the pleasure of getting Nicolas again as our server and he was attentive. Our other server was Justin and he was so friendly. They both made sure everything went smoothly. We were there for about 75 minutes and we didn't wait too long between ordering and when food came. AYCE Sushi for $37.95. +$20 if you want to order from the premium menu list. Better quality and more choices basically. The line wasn't too long when we got there at 6:30pm for dinner on a Saturday. Quote was 20 minutes for the table. That wasn't bad at all as I was expecting a 60 minute wait. There is a pizza place adjacent with a bar you can enjoy beverages at while you wait for your table. Be prepared to pay Waikiki prices though. My lychee martini was $17. Parking is by the hour, scan a QR code and pay from your phone. I wasn't sure how long dinner would take so paid for three hours. It was $18 for parking, which was insane. My friend paid the same. We would have carpooled had we known combined parking would have been $36. There should a reduced rate or validation for patrons. The host was super friendly. Upon getting our table, we noticed how spacious the restaurant really was with about 1/3 of tables open. It wasn't a matter of not having tables that created the wait. Probably to ease the kitchen to not have too many people seating at the same time and orders backing up. Our server was also friendly but would disappear for long periods, likely because they were busy and server versus table ratio, high. Our server would take our order and the food would take about 20-25 minutes to arrive. You only get to put in 3 or 4 items at a time, I believe. I would be frustrated if they held us accountable to a time frame for dining, which is 90 minutes. The food was good, not great. No dish really stood out to me so nothing to brag about here. I definitely did not eat $60 worth of food but enjoyed the company of friends. I don't think I would go back but am happy I gave it a try. My friend said, perhaps if I was rating them with other AYCE sushi places instead of with a regular Sushi Restaurant, they would rate better. That is a good thought to consider. read more
Very fresh fish for AYCE. Opted for the premium option and it was worth it. Husband and I really enjoyed the yellowtail via sashimi and kizami style. He also enjoyed: freshwater eel nirigi, premium tuna, surf clam, and deep fried hamachi collar. The shrimp tempura, baked mussels, and soft shell crab were also delicious. Server was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. When she did get busy, another worker came by to check on our table / food orders. They also serve fresh wasabi, which is a plus. Restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables and natural lighting. Didn't try anything from the bar menu but all they offer a full bar with a variety of specialty drinks. read more
My mom, sister, and I stopped for dinner here on a Saturday night and was pleased to find that there was no wait. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress helped us shortly after. She was really sweet but she did unfortunately miss our orders a few times and did not check on us frequently. The latter we understand may be because it seemed like she had several tables, but I've been to plenty of AYCE sushi places & I haven't been able to just sit for about 10-15 minutes after each round before I was helped. Other waiters were bringing wrong food to our table as well which makes me think there can be some improvement with the organization! Overall, food was not bad & id come back if I was in the area. The AYCE menu selection is great! $20 upcharge if you want to order the premium items. I opted for the regular menu option. The hostess and server were welcoming and friendly. Our orders took a while to come out. There were times that we sat with no food on the table. Hmmmm. I still give it a 4 star rating because you can't beat the price and the quality of the sushi is good enough. BUT, they need to improve their system to better serve their patrons. More servers? Bring your appetite coz you're gonna need it! All you can't eat sushi, sides, etc on selected items for $38.95 and you have the option to pay an additional $20 for the premium menu which includes the selected items and a selection of premium items such as hamachi. I'd say, go for it and don't live with the what if's. Besides the carpaccio, my fave was the Truffle Salmon Sushi. I personally would just stick to the sushi, sashimi and carpaccio selections, as I wasn't too impressed with the fried oysters and Takoyaki. I absolutely loved the trendy ambiance and lighting. I'd periodically see the Chef's cleaning their area and felt really good about that. Our Server, Justin, was just awesome! We've tried all of his suggestions and it did not disappoint! The experience left a lot more to be desired :c We rolled up on Thursday around 330pm for dinner. AYCE adult pricing is $27.95 for lunch, from opening till 3pm, and Monday to Thursday. For dinner it is $37.95, 3pm till closing, and Monday till Thursday. Dinner price is all day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Items can also be ordered Ala carte at listed prices. 1.5 hour dining time limit. Leftover food will be charged. Certain items are dinner time only. The parking structure is connected to the Canterbury Place Condominiums, called the Canterbury Kitchen Cove Garage located at 1910 Ala Moana Blvd. The entrance is along Ena Rd. Parking is operated by Diamond Parking Services using the ParkWhiz website. There's a QR code posted on the wall. You scan it, enter your license plate, and then pick how many hours you'll be there, then pay ahead. Honor system? 1 hour with tax was about $7.18. I read in older reviews that Kan Sushi had validated parking, but when I called to ask that day (2/1/2024), they told me they do not. We waited a while at the entrance before we were greeted and seated. I wanna say around 8 minutes. The person that sat us was our server. I guess servers seat their own tables? I didn't see any host/ hostess by the entrance. Which may be helpful to have. As later on it got busier. The interior looks really new and modern. I was awed by the living plant displays on the walls near the restrooms. Along the sushi bar they use the same hue of blue light that's used in Gen. Which might be their alleged sister company? As they also offer some Korean bbq dishes here like galbi, bulgogi, similar varieties of pork belly and more. There are A LOT, and I mean A LOOOOOOT of options. I had such a hard time deciding... our server recommended some appetizers/ tapas. We got the miso soup, takoyaki (recommended), deep fried squid, and deep fried oysters. These came out within 20 minutes of ordering them and looked similar to the pictures in the menu. It was too late before I realized we had too many appetizers and didn't even order any sushi yet, *face palm* I didn't have a game plan going in... and I should've. Totally recommend a game plan! Instead of ordering more nigiris, I was too excited to try all the chef recommended and dinner only sushi rolls. The rolls I got came with 8 pieces. We got the Hawaiian Nemo Roll, Bonnie and Clyde Roll, Tom and Jerry Roll and the Garlic Yellowtail Roll. I intended to try more items but couldn't. I was getting too full, *facepalm #2* The Hawaiian Nemo Roll is a dinner only item. The inside has imitation crab, cucumber and Avocado inside. The outside is tuna, Salmon, tobiko, salmon egg, lemon, jalapeño and soy mustard. The actual roll we got didn't have any salmon eggs or lemon on it. The jalapeños provided a spicy kick. The Bonnie and Clyde Roll is also a dinner only item. The inside has spicy tuna, Shrimp tempura and Avocado. The outside is eel, tamago, avocado and eel sauce. I don't think the actual roll we got had any Avocado in it. This one was pretty forgettable. The Tom and Jerry Roll is chef recommended. The inside is spicy tuna, Shrimp tempura and Avocado. The outside is salmon, Pico De Gallo, garlic flakes and ponzu. Again, the actual roll we got didn't have any Avocado. The Pico de Gallo was also very minimal. Not overflowing as pictured. The combination of Pico de Gallo and sushi was very interesting. This had to be the favorite out of all 4. The Garlic Yellowtail Roll is a dinner only item. The inside is spicy tuna and cucumber. The outside is Yellowtail, jalapeño, red onion, garlic flakes and garlic ponzu sauce. The actual roll didn't have any red onion. The garlic flakes were crunchy and the jalapeños were spicy, but the roll was pretty forgettable. We also got freshwater eel/ unagi nigiri x4 and kizami yellowtail nigiri x2, but these didn't come till the ending of our meal. Both are dinner only items. It would've been nice to get these sooner. Overall the sushi rolls didn't look like the pictures in the menu which was disappointing... I had a hard time identifying them IRL, total "catfish". A lot of the rolls we got were missing listed ingredients. Not sure if they were out? If the chef forgot them during assembly? There should be some sort of quality control done by an expediter before they make it to the customer. A lot of the inside of rolls are made with krab meat, what I'm assuming is imitation crab/ surumi. K because it's not really crab. Along with Shrimp tempura, Spicy tuna, avocado and cucumber. It does get repetitive. Nothing was really memorable. There's a lot that they can work on to improve. Maybe we'll check it out again later on? read more

Everyone in your party (table) will have to do the same tier, but you can order ala carte items also.

Yes. The menu shows whats available to order but doesnt state all you can eat. The waiter/waitress explain how everything works.

Yes. I rather go in person and do the reservation. Sometimes they're hard to reach on the phone.

Kans have a full bar menu so I would say it's not BYOB. But maybe they charge a corkage if you want to bring your own bottle of expensive wine maybe?
