We came in at 5pm and it wasn't very busy so we got seated right away. It's one of the few All you can eat Sushi places on the Island and if you come hungry it can be a great value. The Fish quality was great, but they could have made the Rolls with different flavor profiles. Their rolls can be too similar and could use some Citrus or Ponzu or Siracha to liven them up. The Teriyaki Brisket and Galbi were good. Overall, the Service was pretty good and the rolls came out pretty quickly. Just don't expect the basic condiments with your sushi, I had to ask for wasabi and ginger. The Korean BBQ same thing, had to ask for rice and they didn't have kimchi. However, the bbq pork belly and Hawaiian steak was some of the better tasting ones I ate from any of the Korean BBQ places. Shocked at the amount of reviews above 2 stars here. The service was horrible. The hostess was unfriendly and not helpful. Our waiter took 20 minutes to take our order and got multiple orders wrong. Mind you, only 10% of the restaurant was occupied. The Yaki udon was extremely sweet. Garlic chicken looked horrible and undercooked. All the sushi wasn't even on par with Kozo Sushi quality. Our soy sauce dispenser was empty and even the coca-cola was flat. Not sure it's even considered AYCE when you can only order 4 rolls per table at a time and they only come by to take your order every 20 minutes. Large restaurant and filled to the gills (pun intended) on a Monday night. I was almost surprised we were seated right away. Lots of families with small and noisy kids. They offer an all you can eat option for like $38 pp, but we opted for a la carte (contrary to what another reviewer wrote, the a la carte pricing was on our menu, so nothing shady there). Pretty much every specialty roll is spicy tuna with something else spicy on it, so hope you like spicy. Everything we ordered (miso, yellowtail jalapeno roll, emergency roll, and a couple other smaller things) was fine. The rolls are big, but it felt like they're going for quantity over quality. Food was okay- honestly pretty solid considering the "all you can eat" aspect. The one thing I cannot get over is the abysmal service. This was by far the worst service experience I have went through at any restaurant ever. I don't know if it's poor management or short staffing or poor management causing the short staffing, but I noticed each staff member doing multiple jobs and working themselves very hard. Our total dine in time was right at 3 hours which is absurd when on vacation and having plenty of other things you want to get to. What capped it off was a mix up on the payment and the "manager" just telling us our bill is 20$ cheaper because it was "easier this way" instead of "sorry for the wait we did XYZ to help." The bill had a 10$ tip added onto it without consent to us- the customer- which made the 20$ less a blatant lie. Would've had no issue tipping our server, Kyle, 30% at least due to how extremely hard he was working. I think the management here is the real issue and we will not be back when there are plenty of other outstanding spots to eat in Hawaii. read more

I wish they had prices for the à la cart menu because it made it uncomfortable to just order à la carte. We didn't come super hungry so didn't want to spend on all you can eat sushi. The sushi was OK. Pork buns are served with pork on the bone so be careful when you bite in. Drinks were horrible. We had to send them back. Do not order a cocktail here. I came here after a long day around the area and was planning for it since unlimited sushi is tempting. both my partner and i have a shellfish allergies which we aren't serious about but we noticed a lot of their rolls had shellfish. it's not an issue at all because there menu has other options but we let our server know and she was incredibly helpful and super sweet about everything and took out the shellfish from our sushi. as a server as well i understand the inconvenience so we so delighted and appreciative of that. we got 2 rolls which were so delicious. my personal favorite was the bonnie and clyde with no shellfish and it was amazing. i got two orders of edamame, seaweed and cucumber salad which were really good but the cucumbers are super think which were hard to eat. overall i enjoyed my experience and i wouldn't mind coming again on a long day. read more

The regular AYCE, premium AYCE, or a la carte. They have sushi, bbq meats, and appetizers to choose from. All members of the party must order the same option. We went with the regular, and you can order 4 rolls per table at a time. The food came out quickly with the bbq meats starting to come out before our full table got all their orders in. The location is pretty big with a middle area that looks like they share it with the restaurant next door. We were seated in that area so service was a little slow to start. But once food orders started coming out, they were quick. I'll be honest and say we ordered A LOT so I can't remember any star of the night dish. There was 7 of us so we had a lot of dishes coming and leaving into our bellies lol. Some dishes were a miss, for me the corn cheese was in a watery liquid and the fried oysters had too much breading. But the majority were good. If I had to choose a few must order I'd say the Aloha Fire, Red Philadelphia, and Hot Cheetos (so unique!). The price felt affordable for the quality and choices even for the regular menu. The food was pretty good- not authentic at all, but there were some creative rolls and a wide variety of other dishes to choose from. I guarantee even the pickiest eater in your group will find something they like from this menu. In terms of the sushi, I appreciate that the nigiri was the right proportion of fish to rice. So often these AYCE sushi places just load you up on rice. The roly poly was my favorite roll by far. It was a piece of salmon sashimi rolled around imitation crab salad and sprinkled with green onion (no rice). The hamachi was super fresh, so I ended up ordering several pieces of nigiri. I also really enjoyed the peppered salmon. Being in a large group here was fun because everyone ended up sharing their rolls with the table, so we got to try a lot of them. Came to Kan around 6:00pm on a Sunday. Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting much from an AYCE sushi/meat spot, however I was pleasantly surprised. We tried many different items on their regular AYCE menu, but to get your money's worth I would definitely order their sushi nigiri & rolls & the kbbq meats. Out of the meats, my favorites were the beef belly & pork belly. They forgot some our food items, but I will say the food came out super quick. Best priced restaurant in the area! Stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village and found this restaurant down the street while looking for a good family dinner. We were shocked that this place was actually less expensive than our AYCE sushi places at home in San Diego! We were greeted and sat by the hostess immediately. A server came right away and took our drink order and our first round of food order. Everything came out quickly, was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. So many menu items to choose from, definitely something for everyone. Something new to us was the Cheesy Corn, our server recommended it and he wasn't kidding... that stuff is addicting! Our server was so nice, he was extremely helpful and patient...very good at his job. Restaurant is spacious, cool fun vibe and walking distance from our resort was a plus. We went on a Saturday at about 630 and we were seated right away. We must've got there right before the rush and it was perfect timing. We just got the basic app you can eat package instead of the delux and it was great. If you ordered sashimi at all you got your monies worth. We arrived a little after they opened at 11:00 am and were able to walk right in and be seated. We did park in the parking structure. Be careful when walking in the stairwell that leads into the restaurant. It is not very well lit. My friend fell when she missed a step down. The food itself was great! We had the premium AYCE so we went all out on trying everything. Our server, Emily, was excellent! She seemed to be the only one waiting on everyone but she was holding her own. Let me preface this review by saying that I don't actually eat raw fish, but the nice thing about Kan Sushi is that they have a wide array of cooked items and rolls that don't contain raw fish. A few friends and I went on a Friday evening at about 7pm and got seated in about 15 minutes. You can order off the menu ala carte, or choose to do AYCE. For an additional $20, you can choose to go with the Premium AYCE menu. We opted for the regular AYCE ($38) and started with a few sushi rolls (Cali and shrimp tempura for me heheh), the kalbi, corn cheese, and garlic chicken. The rolls were pretty standard, but I wish they had a little more crab filling. My friends said the same about their rolls that had spicy tuna. The Kalbi was tender and came with 6 pieces. The garlic chicken was a tad too salty for me and for some reason, I was expecting fried garlic chicken (akin to Zippy's) but it was just stir fried? Corn cheese was a bit heavy on the onions but still pretty good to have and balanced out all the other food we were eating. It started to get busier and we definitely noticed it when ordering our second round of items. At some point, my friend was waiting on some takoyaki and we ended up just cancelling the item since we were getting full. Our server, Wyatt, was really sweet about though and very apologetic. We didn't mind since we were just chatting and yapping anyway lol but he was nice enough to let my friend try a few items on the premium menu as a small consolation. The most delicious Sushi and Takoyaki I've ever eaten on the island and ALL YOU CAN EAT!! The parking garage is to the right of the restaurant, scan the QR code to pay. No reservations for parties under 6 so my husband and I were expecting a wait coming in at 6pm but we were seated almost immediately. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and festive with lit up Christmas trees to celebrate the holidays. It's a great place to celebrate an anniversary or large special event like birthday or work gatherings. We paid the extra fee for Premium for more AYCE options and it was so worth it! The waiter was very nice, fast and attentive. They give a large menu to choose from, take your order, chefs make the food items and a server brings it to the table. It keeps the food clean and fresh, straight from the chef's knife to the table which I love. The wait in between ordering and getting the food was fair. My favorites were the hamachi collar (Crispy and flavorful on the outside, soft, temperature hot, delicious fish meat on the inside), Takoyaki (crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside), yellowtail carpaccio (Fresh fish with the pow of jalapeño and yuzu) and Galbi (Delicious marinated kalbi-like pieces). There were some premium alacarte items like Wagyu sushi and Wagyu steak yakiniku which was separate fee but we stuck to the premium AYCE menu. We had a pre-celebratory graduation party here with my family from the mainland with a party of 39 and called in 48 hours for reservations and had no problems accommodating us. The manager called me the morning of and gave me his cell if the number of party changes or any questions come up...I mean, talk about 5 start hospitality!!
