Very disappointing experience. This place seems to be randomly closed during its posted business hours. I've driven about 30 minutes specifically to come here and get a drink, only to arrive and find that they're closed. This has happened more than once. I completely understand that unexpected things happen, but if your hours are going to change, customers should be notified or the business hours should be updated online. Driving 30 minutes just to find out the place is randomly closed is extremely frustrating and a waste of time and gas. I really hope they improve their communication and keep their posted hours accurate. read more

First time here and it was pretty decent. Variety to choose from on their menu with drinks and some dessert. I got the Dango Mango drink and it tasted great - service was pretty fast. There was about 6 other customers that walked in at the same time as me and I waited less than 10 minutes for my drink. I feel like these places can always be a hit or miss depending on ingredients and the person making your drinks. I came in and just expected cane juice but they also offer milk tea, smoothies and more. We ordered a brown sugar milk tea with boba, a coconut cane juice, and two croissants. One ham & cheese and one strawberry & Nutella The brown sugar milk tea had so much brown syrup that the drink looked muggy and the texture was thick. Boba wasn't fresh. You can tell it's been over a day old. The cane doesn't taste fresh and it has little hint of coconut in it. I got a lot of coconut chunks though. Drinks alone doesn't impress me. But what did were the taiyaki croissants. They are made to order and the filling goes in the inside. So when you get them they are pressed between two hot fish plates which makes them so cute and extra crispy when eaten fresh! They were so delicious. But definitely the meat combinations with cheese will taste better than the fruit combinations with Nutella. Only because the iron plates are so hot it turns the fresh fruits basically into a mush. I'm not a big fan of that kind of texture. But other than that, the ham & cheese croissant has my heart! I will be back for the croissants! I may try the cane sugar drink once more. The woman who helped me was very kind and let me know that my order would take a little bit longer when I arrived. The boba itself is delicious - great consistency and the perfect sweetness, but it does not go well with the smoothie. The coconut water sugar cane juice was okay. It tasted more like coconut water than sugar cane, which was probably intentional because the sugar cane juice was mediocre. It tasted very rooty. I don't know, it didn't taste like a sweet drink I'd look forward to having on a hot summer day. It tasted like I grabbed a stalk of sugar cane from the ground and started sucking on the roots. We were really excited to see a "healthy " juice bar on this side of the neighborhood. It turns out only the juices & smoothies are healthy not the food (actually disturbing but perhaps that's not their marketing) Anyhow , why 3 out of 5 stars. They charge you to remove the ice to "fill to the top" which I didn't mind and further more cashier said it's the cost of the juice. Sure, but then they put two good size kumquats in my juice to replace the ice. Hahaha The sugar cane juice didn't see that fresh ( when it's fresh it's more clear and lighter in color . The CocoOlogy was delicious, although very concentrated. The bits of coconut were exciting and it wasn't too sweet. The Peachee Tea and Dango Mango I got 25% sweet which were almost perfect. The Dango Mango was still VERY sweet. The ambiance was nice. It was clean and modern. I love their informative signs telling you health benefits and creative drink options to choose from. The service was slow at first because there was a larger party ahead of us. Once they got their drinks, I asked for recommendations on everything but the Classic Peach smoothie. They were all great recommendations! Seemed like there was only one staff member working. It did take a while for us to get our drinks because of that. I've ordered from Kane's a couple of times. So far I've gotten to try their taro twist, tazzy thai, coco-ology, and go bunnie, as well as the purple u tea. My favorite drink from this spot is hands down the taro twist it never fails and always taste delicious. The taro from this place is sooo good compared to most of the boba places I've been to which taste way too artificial for my liking. My second favorite drink would have to be the purple "u" tea which is lychee green tea w/ butterfly pea. The butterfly pea gives the drink a nice ombré color and makes the drink aesthetically pleasing. The drink itself is refreshing for a hot summer day. As for food, I also tried their taiyaki croissant which they claim to be the one and only place where you can get it in Fontana. It's has a flaky exterior like a croissant but a soft interior. There are 11 choices to choose from ranging from sweet to savory. The one I tried was the banana w/ nutella. It was okay but not that great. I would give it 3.5/5 UPDATE: 04/10/22 My boyfriend ordered us 2 green Thai tea's today! It was pretty good! It had a slight floral taste but in my opinion could've been a bit stronger on the tea flavor. I drove 1 hour and 20 mins to come try fresh sugar cane juice. I called before driving to make sure it was available. I arrived and was not greeted, the girls were too busy on their phone. I asked for sugarcane juice and was told "they didn't have it that day" I was disappointed and told them to make me a carrot juice and she told me that "the juicer was done for the day" After I decided to just ask for Thai tea boba and when I was going to pay and they told me they didn't have change for a 20.00 And told me to pay with Apple Pay. I was extremely disappointed with the assistance here, and just said "forget it, thank you" And they just said "ok" and looked at me walk off. Never did they apologize for the inconvenience. I was pretty excited for the opening of this place because I am a huge fan of sugar cane juice. It's located inside the Palm Court plaza which is close to Target. Additionally, there are plenty of parking spots so no need to worry about that. I stopped by during my lunch break and got a regular sized Coco-ology which is a mix of their sugar cane juice and coconut water. The cost was around $6 which is a little pricey but it's worth the price because the juice is fresh. Sugar cane juice is naturally very sweet so I like adding other things like coconut water to dilute the sweetness but not take away from the flavor. My drink was very refreshing and came with chunks of coconut which I appreciated. Upon receiving my drink, I was immediately told to let them know if there was anything wrong with it so they could make changes. They deserve an A+ for caring about customer satisfaction.
