I'm responding to the owner's reply to my last review. I am not going to sit by and be accused of "screaming at " or being "rude" to your guys. I was never "screaming" at your guys. Was I firm in expecting the price you quoted me?...Yes. Maybe it sounded loud to you on the phone because it's a large room without carpet to muffle the sound. It always sounds echo-y. But remember ...you are the one that made a big deal about how other companies will come up with a higher price than what they originally quote and that you don't do that. You never told me the price you gave me was an estimate. I have it in text. If you had told me it was an estimate, there wouldn't have been an issue. But besides that point, it's now a couple weeks later and my carpet and furniture hardly look like they've even been cleaned . I'm going to have to hire another company to clean them properly. (I tried posting the pictures but, for some reason, they won't post. ) Also. You tried to claim that it was worn out and in a high traffic area. It's not. It's to the entrance to the bedroom. Had a commercial bathroom with dirty floors. Well assumed it was dirt but after Karma cleaned it they informed me it was soap residue/build up and whoever is cleaning the floors is not properly cleaning up the soap. Ken responded to my inquiry right and quoted me the cheapest so I went with him. I needed upholstery cleaning for my 6 fabric dining chairs, and even though he didn't have too many photos for upholstery cleaning, I decided to go with him because of his price and good ratings. When he came, he looked at them and warned me that it will be hard to take out the stubborn stains and that this fabric is very hard to work with, but he would try his best. They do look somewhat better than what he started with but no one would be able to notice that I got them professionally cleaned. I would recommend this company for being very communicative and how nice Ken and his worker was, but I don't know if I'd recommend him for upholstery cleaning. read more

Great job! Had 2 Carpets and 2 sofas and job was done in 2 hours. They look really clean.

We are very pleased with this company. When we called, Ken the owner, helped us. We needed to clean a studio. It was a small job. He asked us to send him a pic of the carpet condition to see if he'd be able to clean it up or are we better off replacing the carpet. That I appreciate it a lot. He was able to come the following day (which was great and a huge bonus for us). The next day, Ken n his colleague came to the house and immediately worked on cleaning the carpet. Polite, efficient, NOT RUDE, did not block any carports. The carpet cleaning machine they used runs at the same decibel levels that I have known all my life, nothing new there in terms of volume. Our household is fully vaccinated and after giving them permission, we allowed them to work without masks on. Two gentlemen came, one operating the physical vacuum while the other served as his assistant. $477 for Couch, Rug and Tip. Definitely more than I was planning on spending but the quality of work is solid. This high price WILL prohibit me from making this a regular treatment for my furniture. read more

I contacted Ken after searching around on Yelp for a decently priced carpet cleaner. We were expecting a baby and have cats (one that has marked several spots on the carpet) and wanted to get the carpet cleaned before his arrival. Ken was very prompt in his email responses and told me he charged $35 flat per room, and $6-7 per stair. I only have carpet on the stairs and upstairs, so i thought that was a fair price. I vacuumed before Ken came, but he vacuumed as well and told me he sucked up 5 canisters of fur and hair. Holy crap! He used pet stain removal and it took about 2 hours but the carpet looked new and SO clean when he was done. He was able to remove all the pet stains from barf and markings, and I was extremely pleased with the results. He said it would take an hour to dry, but I found it took a good 4-5 hours. All good though, considering the job he did. I'll definitely use them again! read more

Recently divorcing our home from the carpet cleaning companies that advertise on TV and then triple the price when they show up, Ken and his Karma Carpet Cleaning Co. were such a relief! Ken replied promptly to my quote request and he showed up ON TIME!! Wait....it gets better..... My carpet(including 13 dirty stair steps) were overdue to be cleaned and I was nervous but Ken was reassuring: guess what? NO HIDDEN FEES!! With 4 pets in the house, over the years the previous companies we used (hint - one is named after a tower in SF and the other rhymes with "manly"...) the price was never the same as quoted or even when the job started.
