Well. I was not expecting to enjoy this food as much as I did. That is mostly because eating out of late is just a regrettable experience. But Kati Shop?! Yeah, they will definitely see me again. I had the lemongrass chicken, cabbage base, mashed potatoes & kale salad. Each item was flavored to perfection and I had the medium curry and UGH, that's what made all the difference! That curry just took well seasoned healthy food options to the next level. I would have given them 5 stars, but the sides portions were too few for the price of $14. Otherwise, I'll return and the customer service was pleasant. There are plenty of places to sit and the atmosphere is spacious and clean.

Great spot for an easy, flavorful, and healthy lunch or dinner. These bento boxes are very similar to a lot of build your own options in the city and I went with a Panang curry salmon over rice, cucumber salad, and mushrooms. Filling, clean, and flavorful is the best way to describe Kati Shop. I'll be coming here for a lot more Thai inspired meals! Also I definitely would get the Thai milk tea since it comes in a cute bottle and it pairs great with the meal!

We just went here today, and grab some lunch this is my first time try their foods and its really taste good and also its healthy and the crew there are so very nice so much approachable. Next time I will eat there because the place so cozy and clean but for now I have so much work to do so we just took it for to go.

Delicious, fresh, well-priced, flavourful, and quick. I'm a huge fan of Kati Shop and have ordered here many times and will continue to do so. I get the Rice Berry rather than plain white rice, as I believe this has more fiber. Larb Mushrooms and Mashed Potatoes are the sides pictured. The chicken was a great portion and well cooked and seasoned. Skip the line - order online and pick it up when you get there! It's the same price either way.

First time patron. I was in the area. I ordered the salmon over purple rice and massaman sauce, sides of kale salad and chicken meatballs. I went overboard with protein by picking chicken meatballs though tender and flavor with bits of herbs. That massaman sauce was so good. I left a few drops behind, the fork couldn't get to it. Lol.

I'm happy to revisit Kati Shop. I'm not nearby enough to come more. I ordered: half riceberry half cabbage, lemongrass chicken, panang curry on the side, larb mushroom, mashed potatoes Quality is just as good as the first time I went. I can't tell if their recipe changed or my palette changed because it seems less spicy this time. Panang curry is the more typical orange curry that I'd find in Malaysian places. I have massaman again this time from the mashed potatoes and it seems sweeter than I expected. It was a nice pairing with the hearty mashed potatoes. Larb mushrooms was the spiciest item of the meal. I still like it with the umami from fish sauce and those white mushrooms. Lemongrass chicken is high quality chicken as before. It doesn't have hard edges like last time but the insides are still not as juicy as they can be. It still tasted very good don't get me wrong. Their Thai teas are now bottled up which is very convenient for people to drink on the go or save for later. The cap situation isn't the best though since leftover liquid around the top of the bottle will slide down when you screw on the cap. I like how there's no ice in there by default. It won't dilute the tea. It doesn't feel overly sweet even without the ice, so idk what other shops are selling where they insist on needing the ice. This isn't my top top top Thai tea place nor can I say it tastes particularly unique but I like the overall balance. I even bought another bottle to bring home. I sat down to eat this time and I was happy to see a nonstop flow of customers whether it's delivery or order on the spot. There are a couple of flies buzzing around. Tolerable but better if they weren't there. I just realized today that their kitchen is across the hallway from their serving counter. The half glass is a nice touch to let customers see what's going on inside. My mouth was a bit dry after eating this but I think it's reasonable. Even if they don't add msg separately, all the fish sauce they use has msg already.

Food was good and service was fast . Yeah don't go for spicy it is HOT here. This place is good for fast food curry. Price for this after tax was 13.5. The food was good for the price. It's average pricing compare to the rest of near midtown. Fast and reasonable.

Uhmmmm where has Kati Shop been all my life? Like the audacity! Where have you been hiding. Ordered the Salmon platter with Green Curry with Jasmine rice + cucumber salad and kale salad as my two sides. Salmon: nice size portion guys! Also, how impressive to cook salmon perfectly in a fast casual restaurant. That's really hard to do. It was moist, flakey and so tender. Green curry: I was so happy to taste the SPICE! I'm always disappointed in curry not being spicy enough because I love a lot of heat. This was packed with flavor, a gorgeous green color and deliciously spicy. Nailed it! Jasmine rice: again, perfectly cooked. It kind of was like a sticky rice but with Jasmine so I loved that I could use chopsticks while eating it. Kale salad and cucumber salads: the kale salad needed more of that delicious orange dressing. Was a little dry but the pieces of kale that had dressing on it was very yummy. The cucumber salad tasted like plain cucumber, tomato and red onion so I wish I had some fresh lime to squeeze on it. All in all, these guys nailed it. The super high overall star rating is not overhyped. They charge a decent price for a very good portion with excellent clean flavors so how could this not be a total win! Bravo.

One of my favorites for lunch - they give filling portions and the meats are not dry. I got the steak with rice, mushrooms, and chicken meatballs. The service is pretty quick even when the line starts to go outside the door.

Are there nuts in any of the ingredients? My daughter is severely allergic to all nuts and we discovered a nut-free ice cream place nearby and so we are looking for safe places for lunch. Thank you!

Hi. Thank you for reaching out to us. Kati shop is a completely nut-free restaurant. We don’t use any kind in Kati shop.

I love spicy but don't have a good spice tolerance. Would anyone be able to share/describe which items/sides/sauces are more mild in spice? TIA!

If you don't like any heat at all go with the Massaman curry but if you can tolerate a little heat then try the Panang Curry. It's delicious. The green beans and mushrooms are mild.

We were greeted by very friendly staff members who, despite our early arrival, worked hard to get us seated as quickly as possible. The space's vibe is exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Times Square area -- dimly lit, but everything was still visible, not too much noise while extremely busy, and very cozy atmosphere made super pleasant from such attentive, kind staff members. I was especially impressed by our server, Leena, who checked in with us regularly, gave excellent recommendations, and was clearly concerned about giving us an amazing experience. My wife and I ordered one of the seasonal offerings--a sweet and savory fruit salad--that was the perfect start to our meal. I ordered the massaman, and it was easily the best massaman curry I've ever had in the United States. Perfect spice level, the chicken fell right off the bone (even my wife, a vegetarian, commented on how clean the bones looked after I removed the meat), and the mixture of textures and flavors with the lotus seeds and onions really created the perfect dish. I am craving it just sitting here and writing this review! Prices? Honestly, I couldn't imagine a fairer deal given the quality of the food and service we received. I was utterly blown away. I cannot recommend Mitr Thai enough! I can't wait to return next time I'm in the city!
