    Spicy Orange Chicken 辣鮮橙雞

Came on a Thursday evening with a large group. Staff accommodated us great, though food took a while. I got the orange chicken and loved it! Note that it is not spicy.

Best bbq pork in Seattle Not necessarily the cheapest but darn good

I so badly wanted to give a high score but the soy chicken was raw in the middle. Absolutely no go. Staff was slightly put off but allowed us to choose another side. Bloody egg roll COLD INSIDE!

Great value for the lunch special! There was a good amount of meat. The roast pork was a bit fatty for my preference, but still tasty. The roast pork skin was nicely crisp. The BBQ pork was also very tasty. The bok choy tasted fresh. The fried rice was delicious and had great 镬气. The food was prepared pretty quick. I'll definitely come back to have more lunch specials and dine-in in the future.

Cantonese style Bbq a local and small store that sells delicious food. The inside seems like it had better days but it feels somewhat comforting. My friends really enjoyed the pork Bbq dish. I really enjoyed the noodles that are crispy and have something changed? Sort of light gravy on top with tasty veggies. Overall we had a great lunch and it was fast service.

BBQ pork wonton soup. No flavor.

I am not sure how this place got high marks. Ambiance--typical Chinese restaurant. Street parking. Service--staff was nice but didn't get out order correct. Food--I wanted to like this place. Roast pork and duck was flavorful. But docking stars for that fact we dined in and the roast pork was full of fat. Looked at the table next to us that for pork over rice. Same fatty roast pork. The skin not crispy is just unforgivable for a BBQ place. The wonton noodle soup was so bad. I tried to add in the juice from the roast duck plate, sou sauce, salt just to add any flavor to the broth. The wonton filling was mediocre. Better wontons from Costco frozen wonton soup.

Only the Whole roasted duck is worth of ordering ! The duck tasted good , not recommended anything else on the menu though !

I have been to this restaurant a multiple times even back to before Covid but this time is a bit of disappointing . Arriving at 10:30am on the Monday morning from SeaTac , really craving for the HK BBQ . We ordered a whole roasted duck , bbq pork , wonton noodle soup and a seafood tofu pot . The roasted duck was delicious and authentic , the bbq pork met my expectation just like any HK BBQ restaurants but other two were very disappointing. A traditional Wonton noodle soup should be served in clear broth but thus was soy based , the wontons were tasted ok but not traditional HK style , the worse item was the seafood hot pot , not just came out warm in a cold clay pot , but also not much flavor , it seemed everting just lightly boiled with light sauce over it then plated in a cold clay pot , which it supposed to be served sizzling hot . So we ended up finished the duck , ate four wontons and pack rest of the food to go as we don't want to waste the food . When I got home I added additional ingredients to the seafood pot and it was good later . Overall I think this restaurant is ONLY specialized in bbq items , everything else are just not meet your expectations . I strong recommend just go there order the bbq meats only .

Kau Kau barbeque has a menu containing a selection of bbq items. There is a service counter for takeout and also a dine in area as well. The BBQ pork I got was delicious, service was fast at the counter, and everyone was very friendly.

    Lunch special with egg roll

Very nice, friendly, and patient staff. The restaurant was pretty relaxed and TVs were playing sports. They have a long menu and eventually I just had to make a decision. The decision was to go for the lunch option even though it was after lunch (just a small upcharge). The lunch came with soup, bbq pork, BBQ pork fried rice, veggies, and choice of egg roll, other pork, chicken, or fish options, and a side of condiments (yummm). I chose the egg roll. The soup was warm and cozy. The egg roll was so light and crispy and delicious. The rice was well cooked and tasty. The veggies were flavorful and crisp. My complaint was that the pork was dry and tough and the food felt warm, not hot. It had good flavor, but felt like it was sitting and drying out for a while. Three bowl of condiments was awesome! The hot mustard spiced up my face and added an extra dimension of flavor to the pork, plus helped with the dryness. The lunch special is great to try a few things when you can't decide what you want.

This is an outstanding Chinese Restaurant. The food and service were exceptional. I ordered the roast pork, barbecue pork wonton soup and pork fried rice, all the food was incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're Asian and from da area.... Well, IYKYK. Kau kau is spot to hit up if you're looking for the most affordable Peking/roast duck or bbq pork. $50 gets ya a whole Peking duck, which is an insane deal in these trying times. Comes with the buns, green onion, and that SAUCE. Again, IYKYK.

I've visited a couple times during the Chinatown Food Walk, so I'm glad I finally had the opportunity to sit down inside the restaurant. I got the BBQ pork rice! The BBQ pork was so delicious!! But my only complaint was that there was a large amount of soy sauce drizzled over my rice and kinda ruined that for me. Our server was okay for the most part. She offered us tea WITHOUT mentioning that it was NOT free charge. We were not aware of this until it was time to pay, so that was very upsetting for me.

A good Chinese restaurant to eat at! I had their BBQ Pork Fried Rice and it was good! It was very flavorful and the BBQ Pork was tasty. However, the fried rice was overcooked and a bit too moist, and there wasn't that much BBQ Pork. I'd recommend asking for BBQ Pork OVER fried rice. The portioning was good and it was priced well at $13! The service was okay. Nothing special about it. They were nice to offer us water multiple times. The food didn't take long to make. The server handed us tea, and when we received the check, they said that the tea was $1. We didn't mind paying for it, but it felt dishonest to secretly priced the tea when they freely handed it to us. The ambiance was good. There's a decent amount of seating and some decent decorations on the walls. The bathroom was kind of dirty though.... I'd come back again for the food, but there are some improvements needed here.

We got the spare ribs, fried rice, and hot and sour soup lunch special and split it. The spare ribs were amazing and tender! The flavor was really good. The fried rice was also great. We also shared a side of egg drop soup and it wasn't that good. We ended up mixing the fried rice with the soup to make it taste better. Other than yhat the food was great!

Is the roast crispy pork belly gluten free? The disclaimer at the bottom of the menu was a little confusing.

Has anyone ordered a whole roasted pig from this place in 2018 and could give a review on the experience?

Service is quick and straightforward. We ordered the pineapple bun with butter, mixed steak plate with black pepper sauce, and spare rib and chinese sausage clay pot. The pineapple bun was large, hot, and crispy with the sugary crust, although I wish the slab of butter was a bit bigger because it gets a little dry after you run out of butter. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mixed steak plate - it came with a pork steak and beef steak, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. The meat was fine but the real winner was the savory sauce! The clay pots take 20-30 minutes to cook which they tell you ahead of time, so be aware my boyfriend was about done with his food when the clay pot came out. This was a delicious classic dish reminiscent of the clay pots back in Hong Kong! I poured in a ton of sauce and it really gets absorbed into the hot rice and meat. Honey Walnuts Prawns - honey walnut shrimp is such a classic, easily one of my favorites from childhood and still near the top of my list. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles.
