For an appetizer, we had the Shishati grilled peppers with pesto/cilantro sauce, and they were just fantastic. They are mild, nicely grilled, and beautifully presented. It is served as an appetizer, but please be warned, one out of every nine peppers is exceedingly hot. We had about 12 peppers, and all of them were mild, so we beat the odds! I've had hamburgers all over the world, and I can honestly say I have not had a better cheeseburger than I got right here from the menu at Blackstock. It's in a traditional bun, lightly toasted, with tempura, onion, cracked pepper, mayo, Tabasco, candied and smoked bacon, and it is served with Hand-cut fries. You can add guacamole for a dollar, or blue cheese or Gruyere cheese for another dollar. But I did not add a thing; it was perfect as it came out of the kitchen for me!
