Any mechanic or business owner can put together a garage with their fancy car lifts, jacks, engine lifting thingys, scanners/testers, wrenches, etc. and be classified as a mechanic shop. I almost didn't want to write this review because I know they'll be flooded with business after this and it'll be harder to reach them. But what made me come back here three times already is that it's a honest family-owned and mobile. If you need a long-term mechanic, Michel's Mobile Mechanic will be your go to. Being a handy and reliable person myself, I already know my limitations, and so the three services I needed was a starter replacement, gasket replacements, and most recently, a new radiator. The nipple of the radiator broke off and was stuck inside the hose, I figured that I could do the whole MacGyver thing and do the barb thing live I've done around the house but if that piece broke, I just wondered what other areas of the radiator might be just as frail or weak. So I opted a replacement which they took care of. I know I should tow the vehicle to the shop but it wasn't just me at the house that I had to take care of. So I'm grateful for Miguel for approving their mechanics coming out to my house. Payment is agreed prior to everything and you can pay on mobile after the job is done. For my gasket changes, I brought my truck into the shop and sat at the lobby. That's a trip in itself, because they're a family business so you get to hear all the loud conversations and yelling like a family normally does. The only thing I felt was missing after my truck was done was that I wasn't invited to the weekend's Carne Asada.

Each service I have walked away feeling very satisfied! For the diagnostics, Thomas was able to identify the problem with my 2001 Ford Expedition very quickly and help me understand how the spark plug issues can escalate, even with repairs. With that explanation, he gave me fair quotes and potential options on how to move forward with, and some things I should reflect on based on my goals and current capacity. For the pre-purchase vehicle inspection, Thomas gave me the computer diagnostics report and an analysis of his tests of the used car I was looking to purchase. The car was a 2005 Honda Accord, which I was hoping to purchase as a temporary car for commuting. Thomas was able to break down his findings in a way that I understood the problems and the risks they presented. His conclusions helped me make an informed decision not to purchase the car because of these issues. This means a lot of All in all, Thomas is a mechanic with fair prices, transparent operational processes, and trustworthy recommendations. He is someone I am relieved to reach out to for the services he provided and for services in the future!

Tom answered the quote request quickly and was able to come and inspect my vehicle the same day. He was very thorough, explained every step he was taking to make sure all of the new parts were installed correctly. We went on test drive and he made sure all of the wheels were functioning properly and the sensors were working properly and brought his equipment on the test drive. He was kind, did an excellent job, price was very reasonable, and he definitely put my mind at ease. Tom will be the only mechanic I'll be using going forward.

I was in…read morelast week for an oil change and Richard, the manager told me my car needed a new a/c compressor and tires all the way around. He said my tires had dry rot, of which none was seen. My car is 6 years old, garage kept and only has 31123 miles on it. My a/c compressor is still like new and NOT leaking. The Freon is full and the air blows as cold as can be. I talked with another garage and 2 different mechanics. Richard tried to push hard to get me to commit to the new compressor and a set of tires at a cost of almost $2500. I would not give in and when I told him I was taking it for a second opinion and quote, he said well the other place would charge me more than he was going to charge and he still tried to use scare tactics to get me to allow them to do the job. He said, we can have it done in two hours. I told him that the last 3 times I've come in for an oil change, he always tells me that something else is wrong on my car. Looking back I believe I was scammed into putting on new struts also, but that's already done. I just wasn't going any further with Tire Works. Richard sees a senior citizen come in the door and thinks we are an easy target. 6 of my friends have now deleted Tire Works phone number out of their phones. The best part was the look on his face when I said I was going to get another quote. After he realized he couldn't change my mind, he told the tech to get my car down. I was always happy with my efficient oil changes, until I wasn't last week, when he pulled that again, saying I needed more new parts on a new car. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM TIRE WORKS! Google them and check reviews. They've had lots of complaints for pushing unneeded parts and bad reviews.
