We've been meaning to try this place so I'm glad we got a chance today. We were warmly greeted by the cashier. We tried their KPOP plate with beef Bulgogi and Chicken, Bulgogi fries, and Kpop Soy Garlic Wings (a la carte). The plate was really good with nice flavor on the salad and meats but we felt it needed more rice because the meat was a little bit more saucy. We liked the bulgogi fries, that had a bit of heat which we liked. Although the wings had good flavors, we probably won't order it next time because it was a little bit on the pricy side. I came during a weekday afternoon around 2pm and there was a line. I ordered a bibimbop bowl with beef as my protein. The bowl arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. I noticed that the bowl itself was actually bigger than what I had expected based on pictures I have seen. There was a generous portion of various veggies with a fried egg covering the beef and rice underneath. I was disappointed with the amount of beef given though. All together, veggies, rice, beef, and egg, the bowl was pretty tasty. The bite of crunchiness from the veggies/egg , softness from rice, and tenderness from beef was quite satisfying. I decided to give this place a 3/5 star because of beef quantity and pricing. For 13 dollars, I'd expect way more beef than veggies. Sure, theres a lot of veggies and rice but no way was that worth anywhere near 13 dollars even with the few bits of beef. read more

What's up with the high yelp rating? After visiting mom this appeared under yelp's hot and new restaurant. So we dropped in for dinner. First of all, it set up more like a fast food eatery. Located next to the Sprouts strip center - parking was easy to locate. I was advised to put my order on the kiosk machine which felt impersonal - like I was ordering a boba or at a bank ATM. Placed a order for beef bulgogi with brown rice and spicy pork bowl. Portions of Protein were tiny for what you pay, especially since they just opened a few weeks prior. Also they charge for extra toppings to their already high price bowls. Quality was decent but value just wasn't here for being setup as a fast food joint. New Korean food spot opened in Monrovia and they have BIBIMBAP!!! And it's really delicious too! I'm so happy!! Bibimbap is one of my faves and not a dish you see too often around here - and theirs was fantastic!! I got two Bibimbap bowls - one with their bulgogi beef and one with fried tofu. Their bulgogi beef is excellent y'all!! Super soft and full of flavor - goes perfectly with their bibimbap bowl full of veggies and rice and tasty sauce! They top it all off with a fried egg and mine was perfect - not too runny and not overdone. My husband had the fried tofu bibimbap bowl and he loved it too - ate every last bite and said it was fantastic! They also offer kimchi fried rice dishes, bulgogi fries, other bowls and plates, and Korean fried chicken too, as well as lots of sauces, sides and toppings. The staff were so friendly and helpful - very apologetic about how long we had to wait - even though we didn't wait long at all lol. Very kind and very welcoming! This was their first day of being fully open (I went this past Friday - previously they were in their soft opening) and they were already packed full of business! Yay! If you are hankering for Asian food, it's a decent option. The "boneless" chicken are cut pieces of chicken thigh, so are random sizes but overall the flavor is good. Disappointed in the fried rice plate. You actually pay more for the fried rice and the protein is mixed in--they actually give you less meat than if you ordered the kbop plate. The fried rice is fried well but minimum amounts of "stuff" (eggs and meat) inside and they use a ton of oil. The bulgogi fries were ok. Overall for almost $40, not sure I'd be a regular. read more

Was looking for a place for lunch, and was originally going to Jersey Mikes (next door) and saw this. Checked out the menu and it looked good. I'm a sucker for kimchi fried rice, so I was sold. My wife decided on BokumBOP plate with no meat. I went with the Kimchi BokumBOP with bulgogi. The plates come with miso soup and salad. Everything tasted great. Kimchi was delicious, the radishes were also delicious, crunchy, refreshing. I would say, the meat in mine was pretty sparse. I expected more meat than there was. I might consider adding more next time but then there is the added charge. Not a deal breaker but I barely noticed the meat in mine. I recommend this spot if you're looking for a quick food spot for some Korean food but not a sit down kbbq place. Cute spot. The staff were all friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We've had our eye on trying this place ever since we saw it replaced the restaurant we used to go to before and we finally did today. It was definitely worth the wait!! Every single menu item we tried was delicious, so much so that we actually went back the same day to try more things lol The Korean fried chicken here is one of the tops, I'd say the crispiness and thickness of the coating is on par with Tokyo Fried Chicken but each flavor we tried had the perfect amount of sauce and salt and weren't greasy. The chicken inside was nice and juicy as well. The wings were carefully packaged and vented so the chicken would stay crispy. With the bowls and plates, you choose your base (white or brown rice), choice of protein (beef bulgogi, marinated chicken, spicy pork or spam). The BokumBop fried rice plate in particular hit my Japanese fried rice craving. The plates include mixed vegetables, miso soup, spicy radish, and macaroni salad. The Kbop fries were awesome, the fries stayed crisp for awhile. Each item was nicely labeled so if you have a group order, it's easy to distribute the right item to the right person. On a Saturday afternoon in late July, my sister and I went for lunch here. We were nicely greeted and looked at the menu. The menu is easy to read. There are plenty of tables to choose and a soda machine. I ordered a bibimpop with bulgogi with wings, fries, and drink combo which the cashier was nice to suggest. The bibimpop has good flavor of bean sprouts, spinach, lettuce, carrots, bulgogi and sauce with drizzle sesame oil. The wing had soy garlic flavor and it was nicely fried. The rice was hot and steamy and the salad was good with the dressing and the beef and chicken were flavorful and tender. I got the bulgogi fried rice with side of boneless chicken sweet chili flavor. The boneless was 10/10 and their ranch was good quality. Korean fried chicken soy garlic flavor is mid compared to other KFC. Chicken is juicy & tender but breading & sauce leaves much to be desired. Breading is for sure crispy but not as crunchy as the double fried KFC crisp I look for. Breading also falls off the chicken slightly on flats. Soy garlic is a bit salty but nice when cut with the creaminess of ranch (not a condiment I prefer to use with KFC). Wings overall are also a bit small (think Wingstop) rather than the large wings that typically command a $2/wing price. Radish comes in strips rather than cubes that I prefer. Every time I've came here since quarantine, the wait was always 10-15 minutes. With that, I always knew it was fresh. Their fries are always so crispy and seasoned. I've tried many many Korean wings, not much location can match the taste here along with pricing. It was usually quite empty but I've noticed more customers recently where it is usually quite packed.
