Absolutely love the idea of having a Korean restaurant inside of a food court. There's plenty of options to choose from at this mom and pop shop. My dad and I ended up choosing the bulgogi set. The meat was pretty juicy and the Banchan refills were unlimited. The Korean mom working at the establishment was super nice and she made sure everyone was full by the end of our meal. It was definitely refreshing to not feel rushed trying to leave our space. I will definitely recommend this place for those who want Korean food in a more casual space.
I was trying all other restaurant vendors at the President Square Food Court. I said why not try Omma Tofu House, too. Btw, I do love tofu soup! Great to see this option at a food court. Tofu soups come with a variety of protein of choice such as beef, pork, seafood, etc. You can make it a combo by adding on another item such as sizzling plate or bibimbap or whatever else they have. Banchan of 4 items come with each meal. Prices were average compared to other tofu soup houses. I ordered the pork tofu soup + bibimbap for my eldest daughter. I got the seafood tofu soup + spicy teriyaki chicken for me. My daughter loved her pork tofu soup meal. YUM! I enjoyed my seafood tofu soup very much. Banchan was great. Gotta eat the bean sprouts quick otherwise it may get spoiled. Unfortunately, I had to toss out my bean sprouts. I ate everything else though. Good stuff! As for the bibmbap and spicy teriyaki chicken, we haven't gotten to them yet so we can't comment... they look good so I'm sure they are good. Staff was okay. Service was decent. Timeliness of the order readiness was a bit on the slower side, but then again, they were super busy so it's understandable. Wi-Fi reception could be better in this area. Shared seating are inside the bright and clean food court. Restrooms are available. Free parking at the President Square in Arcadia. Great place to grab some hot and delicious tofu soup meals on any day. Come by and try them out! I'll be back to dine-in for sure. Take-out experience is usually not the same as dine-in experience. Located inside the President Square Food Court, this spot shares a parking lot with the complex and offers complimentary water/tea, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Beef & Seafood Tofu Soup with purple rice. It came with a generous spread of side dishes: bean sprouts, a seaweed-onion mix, kimchi, fish cake, and potato salad. Compared to other tofu soup spots, the food was okay- not bad, but not memorable either. For me, the broth didn't quite have that comforting, "Omma-made" homey flavor I was hoping for. It leaned more toward salt and spice rather than depth. I also felt there wasn't much meat in the soup, and the shrimp tasted a bit off. That said, the tofu itself was cooked nicely and had a good texture. I did enjoy some of the side dishes, and the staff member who took my order was kind. This is very much an order-at-the-counter, seat-yourself kind of place, which works well for a casual meal.
I loved this spot! The tofu soup was perfectly salted with just enough spice for a "medium" but I think i'll go for spicy next time. The bibimbap and pork was delicious and a generous size for the combo option. The banchan options were great. The service was kind and the pricing was fair and similar to competitors. We waited around 20 min for our food as it was peak dinner time but it was okay because the dried food stall worker came around with some free samples (perk of being located in a food court).
Found this hidden gem in a food court that still has my favorite spicy squid. I ordered a few dishes to take home. This Korean place exceeded every expectation. The spicy squid was exceptional--delicately tender with a balanced, flavorful heat. The presentation, freshness, and seasoning were all top-notch. The side dishes were all delicious and the portions were generous. If you love bold Korean flavors, this spot is a must-try. I'll definitely be back
My favorite Korean tofu place near by house. It is conveniently located in a food court at a plaza with a supermarket, so there is usually plenty of parking. I have been here multiple times and I ordered the Beef Tofu Soup and the combination (Beef Tofu Soup + Bibimbap). The combinations are pretty worth but I have only tried the bibimbap one so far. For the tofu soup, you can choose different levels of spice and I chose the not spicy. And for to-go orders, I always ask to have the egg added inside. The tofu soup broth is very good and there is a good amount of tofu but the amount of beef is a bit sparse. They also give some side dishes which is free refill if you dine there. The side dishes are good and I especially like the fish cake and bean sprouts. For the bibimbap, its a good assortment of vegetables but it doesn't come with rice so it's good if you get it with the tofu soup. The tofu soup is cheaper than if you eat out at an actual restaurant. I usually get it to-go and I really like how their containers are eco-friendly. Just a note, they also let you choose purple rice which is cool and I always opt for this option with my soup. Totally recommend if you're in the area!
My go to spot after work when I'm hungry and want an affordable filing and nutritious meal. I. The 99 ranch plaza food court, so plenty of parking available. "Secret" purple rice is here, but you have to ask for it for those in the know. Depend on my mood but I get like a beef tofu soup and sometimes the Galbi combo to share if I'm hungry. Other times when it's hot outside I come here for their cold noodles, as it's close to home and hits the spot without having to drive out to k-town.
Since I'm in the food court at 99 Ranch in Arcadia and my sister wants some Korean tofu soup, we ordered from Omma Tofu House. You get some Korean side dishes and piping hot Korean tofu soup, which is ideal for a cold day. I wish there were more Korean side dishes, and the tofu soup was tasty and satisfying. Reasonable price, plus there is no need to tip because it is located inside the food court.
Fantastic Korean Tofu soup especially for being in a food court. If you get sit in you'll get everything you would get at a sit down restaurant on a tray like the hot bowls for the tofu soup etc. Loved that they also come with all the side dishes as well which was pretty plentiful. This is what I ordered. Spicy Pork and Tofu Soup Combo - This was such a great deal and the pork and tofu soup was delicious. Can't go wrong and price was cheaper than other spots. (5/5) Oyster Tofu Soup - It was great, very reasonable price and oysters portions were pretty generous. Great flavors. (5/5) Solid spot for delicious food in the food court. Also that means you can bring your own drinks or get different food that might fit your needs. We ended up returning the plates to the stall after finishing so a lot of self service.
The perfect comfort meal for a rainy day inside a food court plaza! We ordered the extra spicy beef tofu soup, mild mushroom soup, and seafood pancake. The soups came out still hot and bubbling, which allowed us to crack in an egg to be poached perfectly. The soup was deeply flavorful, and was well complemented by the sticky purple rice (they give you the option of either white or purple!). The seafood pancake was one of the best I've had in the SoCal area, with super crispy edges and loaded seafood. Many seafood pancakes are too doughy or soft, but Omma Tofu House really blew me away with the generous portion, definitely worth the price. The side dishes, which included fish cake, kimchi, seaweed, potato, and bean sprouts also paired well with the hot food. We waited about 15 minutes for our food, which was not a problem considering other soup shops were very busy that day given the weather. The shop is tucked away in a corner of an indoor food court that shares a building with many other eateries, businesses, and Ranch 99. Parking was quite easy in the large outdoor lot. Would definitely be back again!
It is indeed an ummas kitchen. The owner is friendly and speaks English and Korean fluently. Definitely felt like going to ur neighborhood or aunties house for some Korean food. The tofu soups have really great flavor and very decent for being small ran and in a food court. The nakji and ojingeu bap is uber delicious and didn't know but she said I could request it spicier (as I grew up eating that dish burning my mouth) which was nice to know. It was flavorful and good. Will be coming back as it's hard to find outside ktown. Self serve water which is great because if I wasn't so full I would've definitely added some hot tea or water on top of my neurungji made from the hot plate. Will be coming back
Just had a very fantastic dinner (take-out). We ordered beef short rib soup, seafood noodle soup, and rice cake & dumpling soup. All were so tasty. I really liked the rice cake soup, my daughter really liked the seafood soup, and my husband really liked the beef rib soup. Yum-my! Only afterward I realized I didn't get pictures...
We visited this spot on a Monday afternoon at 12 PM. It is conveniently located in a food court with easy parking. Vibes were extremely casual as it was in a food court and service was adequate For our meal, we ordered the mild spicy seafood and beef tofu soup along with a bibimbap combo. The soup arrived piping hot and was accompanied by a generous selection of banchan. The bibimbap was also hot and fresh as well, served in a traditional stone bowl. The pricing is comparable to other Korean restaurants, which was surprising given the casual setting of a food court. I would've expected slightly lower prices. Despite that, the food was of quality and definitely satisfies a craving for korean tofu soup.

During Covid, I ordered from here the most via Uber Eats. Mainly because they had the quickest delivery speed and most reasonable prices. I decided to try to go in person and order my usual bibimbap + seafood tofu soup. I remember extra banchan can be ordered but not sure about dine in. I ordered directly with the server who handed me a buzzer to wait for my order to be called. It took an around 10minutes for the food the be ready. I had two trays, one for soup and banchan and the other for bibimbap. You mix your bowl of rice (be careful since the bowl is metal and hot!) into the bibimbap bowl, add sauce (only spicy version they do not have nonspicy sauce!) and mix!! It has all sorts of veggies and meat bits and a fried egg. You can also add all the banchan in as well but we wanted to eat them separately with each bite. They gave us a raw egg (crack it in the soup asap if you don't want it runny!) which I cracked into the hot stone soup, be careful because the bowl is super hot!! I think someone melted our tray with is be fair because the tray was morphed as well. Soup was delicious, love the tiny shrimps, clams, and oyster pieces inside with plenty of tofu which I mixed into bibimbap as well. Banchan was 5 dishes! Potato's salad is new to me as I'm used to their kimchi, seaweed, bean sprouts and fish tofu dishes. All great! Enough food so I didn't ask if they give extra banchan or a price or free. Once we were done we returned the tray and bowls to the restaurant. Glad I tried this is person! Still amazing and worth the wait. read more
Service was a bit slow tonight, I think it's usually faster. Maybe it's a slow Saturday night or less staff because it's close to closing time. We got the bibimbap and tofu soup. I was not expecting so many sides. Returned for my go-to order: beef tofu soup and the bibimbap + tofu soup combination. They weren't too busy when we came and dined in. They have water that you can get yourself from the water dispenser. Soup was piping hot and yummy. The food court is spacious with plenty of seating. read more

Absolute top notch Korean comfort food. They have a large selection of tofu soups, as well as other "Omma Specials", or a combination if you have trouble deciding. The food is wonderful and perfectly made with high quality ingredients and tasting delicious. They have 5 side dishes which are all amazing. Omma Tofu House is located in a food court in a strip mall that is anchored by a grocery store and a large Cantonese restaurant. Plenty of strip mall parking. Omma had grilled items, tofu soup, noodle soups, bossam, appetizers, Banchan, etc... for take-out, delivery, or eat in at the food court tables. Order at the counter, receive a pager, pick your food up at the counter, eat at the food court tables, return the trays to the counters. Ordered: Combo #1 Kalbi & Tofu (Various options) Soup (Mild, Medium, Spicy), Combo #10 Bossam (boiled pork slices) & Tofu Soup. Seafood Pancake, and Spicy Cold Noodles. Food is passable for mall food but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there or take out as: Kalbi was dry, Bossam was dry and flavorless, and Seafood Pancake was pan fried top and bottom with imitation crab & seafood - dough bottom layer, seafood, and potato shreds on top. Omma Tofu House serves really good Korean food even though they are located in a casual food court (President Square Food Court) next to 99 Ranch in Arcadia, Ca. Ambiance: Seriously no frills, you order, pay, wait for your food buzzer to beep, get your food/eat, bring your food tray back, then leave. If you do decide to eat there, the good news is the chairs are comfortable, the challenge is finding a table when the place is busy. Food: Their Beef Kalbi is seasoned nicely and tender; I'd definitely order this again. The spicy cold noodles (Bibim Naengmyeon) were perfect in this scorching hot weather- their house version is good. I got the tofu soup (soon dubu) as well and it was very tasty. The banchan was just ok. -Credit Card and Cash accepted. -Parking is shared in the 99 Ranch lot and should not be problematic on weekdays (weekends may be different). read more
I was craving tofu soup and seafood pancake and I am really glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. It's located in the food court in President Square mall near 99 Ranch. We ordered bulgogi + tofu soup (beef & seafood) combo and seafood pancake. All the dishes were pleasantly tasty. The tofu soup was sizzling and served hot with the classic ban chan spread (kimchi, fish cake, bean sprouts, potato salad, and seaweed & onion salad). My favorite was the classic seaweed & onion salad in vinegar sauce. The tofu soup could have had more meat and seafood but overall the meal was filling. One thing to note is the spice level seems milder than the ones in Ktown. I usually order mild but at Omma I think medium is the way to go. The bulgogi was on the sweeter side but surprisingly I really enjoyed the marinade. The seafood pancake was made with squid and imitation crab with crispy topping and it was a solid dish. Overall, I'm glad to have found a local option for Korean tofu soup and seafood pancake without having to brave the traffic and parking in Ktown. read more
Was craving tofu soup and the kimchi tofu soup from Omma Tofu House definitely hit the spot. I got the mild spice level and it was perfect. Soup was flavorful and the banchan was not bad either. Service was pretty fast. The food was ready after about 10 minutes. They remodeled the food court where Omma Tofu House is located recently, and there's plenty of seating. I went on a Saturday around lunch time, and the food court was busy but not overbearingly crowded. Would definitely recommend if you're ever craving a quick and lowkey meal! (Seafood pancake from a few months ago so the banchan is a little different.) read more
On a cold noodle hunt and tried this place and it did not disappoint! (: The cold noodles were nice. The broth and noodles had beef flavor, very unique. They also served you the small dishes too, and they were good. The service was really nice too. The lady also gave me take out containers when I couldn't finish my noodles haha. It may be in a food court but do not be fooled! Food courts can have wonderful food too!! (: Would come again! read more

I have been on a seafood pancake craving and this one kept that craving going. The crisp on the seafood pancake was delightful and it was filled with seafood. The thing I appreciated most about this one was it wasn't overfilled with green onion. The dipping sauce was good and somehow the leftovers were better the next day! All the banchan was really good. If you eat in, they'll refill for you :) This is in a food court next to 99 ranch with a huge parking lot. The service was great. They have a self serve cold water, hot water, and hot barley tea. read more

A casual tofu soup place that is in the cafeteria next to 99 ranch! They are a solid place that serves tofu soup and other dishes at a more laid-back and affordable price. Portions are the same as your typical tofu soup place and they have unlimited banchans (sides) too. I would say that their spice level isn't as spicy though! I would spice level up if you want something more spicy. Service is quick and easy. You order at the counter and you get a beeper that buzzed when your order is ready to grab! read more

Pros - for a food court this place is 5/5. Parking is easy Cons - It's no frills. straight up order and eat. I was craving cold korean noodles so I yelped, found this place and gave them a try. I got the spicy buckwheat noodles. Wife saw a picture of Jjajangmyeon (noodles with black bean sauce) on yelp and wanted that. We were given pagers and found a place to sit in the cafeteria. The customers around us were a mixed bag. The vibe I feel is totally random. But generally safe, clean, and welcoming. I was delightfully surprised when I found out that ban Chan (small side dishes) came with the order. Seaweed, tofu skin, bean sprouts, kimchi, and mashed potatos. The main dish itself was pretty good, the buckwheat noodles had a nice bite to it. Came with crunchy pickled radishes, cucumber, egg and beef. Broth was spicy, sweet, and flavorful I took a few sips after finishing the noodles. When we ordered the Jjajangmyeon, the chef/owner was called to see if we can get it. 4.5 stars This is a no-frills food court Korean place. It is casual, so don't expect anything fancy. I've only gotten their beef tofu, medium spicy, and absolutely love it! For $13.99, it is definitely a good price compared to other Korean restaurants. The beef slices, though small, are lean. The banchan is plentiful and, I believe, are refillable. Service was good and free parking is available on-site. Will definitely back in the future! read more

Feeling like cold noodles on a hot summer day was the perfect. Quick friendly service and reminded me of my trip to South Korea a couple weeks ago. Restaurant is inside the food court area. read more
this place was the BOMBBBB. I loveee korean food and today was so hot so I was craving some cold noodles! I ordered the spicy buckwheat noodles while my friends got the clam & dumpling tofu soup! - tofu soups came out vv quick but my noodles took a while. the owner however was very nice and gave me am extra side of rice for the long wait:) me and my friends literally chowed down our food and we couldn't finish we eneded up packing half to go so the portion was pretty good for its price! the noodles I got absolutely hitt‼ the noodles were nice and chewy, usually I do not like to order bibim naengmyeon bc the noodles would often clump together and it would be hard to separate but this naengmyeon was perfect! noodles did not clumpthe flavor of the naengmyeon was also so so good it was the perfect amount of sweet and spicy!! it hit ao hard on this hot dayy the beef on top was also super tender and the side dishes were so delishhh. my fav side dish would def have to be the bean sprouts they made it SO BOMBB HEREE. it was crisp and well seasoned anyway will be coming back read more
