First off this is a review that's long overdue. I'm from California and come to the area 3-4 times a year. Always my go to Chinese place. Great service, price and food. I wasn't the best at taking pictures because I was so hungry and excited. I got the Mongolian beef, sizzling rice soup and shrimp fried rice. Amazing and plenty of portions. Recommend and I'll be looking forward to coming back soon!

This is a very old-school Americanized Chinese restaurant, and that is reflected in the decor as well as the offerings in the menu. I ordered tofu with vegetables, and sweet and sour chicken. Both were good, and - as expected in an Americanized Chinese dining establishment - tailored to the American palate; that means,, don't expect flavors from authentic Chinese seasonings such as Sichuan peppercorns or black vinegar to stand out.

I live nearby and have been to Dragon Palace a few times now and I feel I owe them a good review! The service is always great. The food is just terrific. Not overly sweet or salty like the chain Chinese places. Just great natural flavors with the right amount of seasonings. The Peking dinner for 2 is my favorite so far and is a great way to sample a variety of their items. Pricing is very reasonable and you'll always have some take home left for lunch the next day! I'm definitely becoming a regular there.

I ordered takeout from here and I was very pleased with the food. We had vegetable egg, foo, young, sweet-and-sour chicken, and Mongolian beef. We also had an order of eggrolls. Everything was ready for me to pick up when I arrived, and the food was pretty good! I have eaten there since I was a kid.

It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.

His dance moves while he entered my order were a great touch! The aroma inside is exquisite! Everything around me looked so fresh! I loved seeing all the food around me. I see why everyone loves the green mango salad (yam mamuang boran). Delicious! So flavorful! Just know not to expect lettuce. The fried chicken was tasty but I wished I had asked for not fried options. That's on me. It was certainly good. Very crispy and flavorful. Next time I would just prefer something more unique than wings. The bok choy with garlic (pad pak twang toong) is so good! Very light and tasty. I asked for a side of white rice to enjoy it with. I ended with Naem Khao Tawt. It was again flavorful and zesty. I would have avoided more crispy and pork with this one but again that's on me. It was still tasty. Next time I would ask for more grilled options and something with beef and noodles. The scallops and buffalo tartare sounded fantastic! Would definitely want those in the future! They were out of buffalo tonight. The dueling brule dessert was so good? I'm particular the purple one! So tart! Really wonderful experience and made new friends while here. Parking is a bit of a nuisance, but after 15 minutes I got lucky and snagged a street spot close by out front. Otherwise, it's either street parking, meter parking or nearby garages.
