The food here is very good. The prices are a tad bit high for what you get, but prices seem to be going up everywhere (inflation). The wait staff is also very nice. Those are the positives. The primary reason for only 3 stars is that their reservation policy will drive you mad. Sometimes they take reservations. Sometimes they don't. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Different staff will tell you different things (we've asked many times!). And IF you are able to make a reservation, there's almost always a problem with your reservation when you check in with the hostess/host. My wife and I go here almost every week, and I would say more than half of the time there is a problem when we show up with a reservation. The other downside is that they forget about your food and drinks all too often. You can wait 10-15 minutes for a drink after you order. The good news is that we usually get $20-$30 off our bill because they forget our food/drinks. It's not something we ask for, but they are kind enough to acknowledge their mistakes and offer to remove it from the bill. Like I said, we are weekly customers, so the bad experiences aren't a one-time thing, they are repeatable. We are thinking about scaling back on our visits here because of the problems I mentioned. If they improve, we will likely come back more often. read more

Ke-uH is an Asian TAPAS restaurant that just opened about 2 months ago. I mention the word TAPAS all caps because I have heard quite a few people complaining that the portions are small. When we sat down the first thing our server asked was if we had been there before. We said no. She then explained the menu and the concept of Asian tapas...all their dishes were small to medium. Our server was very laid back but extremely friendly. The owner checked on us and was very engaging. We had A LOT of different dishes... Grilled Octopus - $12 (average for grilled octopus). My husband loved it. It came with a little side of their salad. (Which has mango...which my husband is allergic to...the server ran back to make sure the chef was aware) Veggie Roll (not on the dinner menu, but they made it). For $9 it was a bit small but I liked that it wasn't all rice and no veggies & that the veggies were all recognizable) Brussels Sprouts - OMG! It was a nice size portion and it was delicious. It was not fried to an unrecognizable crisp, it was perfectly cooked. Dragon Roll - this was a nice size Roll and my husband said it was delicious. Robatas- skewers. We had the eggplant and the asparagus. I wasn't crazy about the asparagus and it was 1 spear for $3. That was a little pricy to me. The eggplant was amazing! So much so we orders 2 more. Again $3 a skewer for 3 disks of Japanese eggplant. A bit pricy but when I think about the bagel I had that morning where the bagel place charged me $1.75 for a 1/4 of avocado, I guess it wasn't so pricy after all. The owner brought us over some truffle oiled edamame. It was delicious. It wasn't overly oiled, just enough to make it mighty tasty. Shishito Peppers - I was shocked how much I liked these. I am not a spicy girl, but these were tasty and not spicy. I had to fight my fast eating husband. Vegetable Gyoza - tender and delish. It could have used a little more filling but it was very good. We ended with the Nutella/banana spring rolls. It came with 2 and a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. As a vegan ish eater, I totally enjoyed my meal and my husband (who is a human disposal) left satisfied. We spent no more than any other place we would have gone to on a Saturday night. It is very easy to spend a lot, as there are a lot of things to try (more so for someone who eats fish and meats - which I don't). Looking forward to going back and trying the Oreo dessert and have the Brussels sprouts and eggplant again. read more

All I can say is... Get the Salmon Pizza! I ordered takeout and got a bunch of different dishes. I got the salmon pizza, Fried Rice, Ke-Uh Sliders, Pork Buns, Beef Robata and Tuna Tartar. Everything was delicious, but my absolute favorite and highlight of the meal was the salmon pizza. It was served on a thin and crispy crust with thin slices of deliciously fresh raw salmon, kalamata olives, truffle oil and red onions. So good! I highly recommend it! read more

This is an Asian toppas restaurant with a small menu but a good menu. Let's start with the service, excellent, I have a mango allergy our server remembered and made sure any thing we ordered had no mango. We started with the shishito peppers, fantastic. Then we got the Robata eggplant and the asparagus, the asparagus was just Ok, but the eggplant was so good we ordered two more. Next we had the crispy Brussels sprouts. They are served in a citrus and balsamic vinegar, this is one of the best things on the menu. After that we got a veggy roll and the grilled octopus., both were very good. Here comes the next item, vegetable gyosas mmm good. While we were waiting the Dragon roll I ordered the owner sent us out and order of truffle edemame, all I can say is, OMG! Trendy Japanese restaurant with some unique rolls. Reminds me of ETARU with the menu setup and prices. There are options for everyone. From salads to hot and cold appetizers to sushi rolls and plenty of entrees from the kitchen. We went with a big group so I got to try many different things. Started with a krab salad made with imitation crab, mayo and tobiko. It's a little heavy on the mayo but tastes good. The Ke-uh salad is refreshing and light. The fried shrimp appetizer comes with huge pieces of shrimp but beware. It's a bit spicy. Grilled octopus was charred on the edges but tender in the middle. The rolls we got were AKA, super tasty! The Honey was very unique with shrimp tempura on the inside and lots of crunchies to add texture. The POP roll only had two pieces but it was really worth it. Loaded with krab delite and wrapped in rice paper instead, it had a little kick to it cause of the red pepper flakes. Overall not bad but the prices do add up and the portion sizes are not that big. read more

Very trendy and nice layout. We tried 3 rolls and were surprised with the mixed of textures and tastes. But of all three rolls we tasted either sour or sweet in them. Not one of them was savory and satisfying. Very beautiful rolls but they were either too sweet or too sour for our palette. And I'm not sure what soy sauce they use but that is the sourest, thinnest soy sauce I've tasted. This doesn't help when the roll is already sour with a gastric sauce. And the spicy mayo was not spicy and not enough. Actually all three rolls had the spicy symbol and not oNe had a kick to it. Not spicy. Had the pork belly w watermelon which was melt in Your mouth delicious but again it was served with a gastric sauce...acid and sour when dipped. (3.5 stars) Took myself on a little lunch date to this sushi spot in Weston. They weren't too busy for a Saturday afternoon so I sat in the back at a table overlooking the water which was relaxing. Even though it was middle of the afternoon they were playing very intense house/party music which I thought was a little much considering the time of day. The service was really great - server was very friendly and attentive. The sushi was also top notch as far as quality goes. I got a Bonzai Truffle roll (sub nori instead of soy paper - which they charged me for) and a Chirashi Roll. Both were absolutely delicious and very IG friendly but I wish there was more. I understand that this is more of a "tapas style" sushi place but $16 for a roll that only has 6 pieces is a bit too pricey. If this were an 8-10 piece roll for the same price I truly would eat here on the regular, especially considering this is within walking distance from my office. To spend $35 out the door (not including gratuity) and leave feeling hungry isn't my jam. They had some other interesting things on the menu that I really wanted to try but I didn't want to break the bank. Ke-Uh is one of those restaurants that you must go to if you like sushi. Their rolls are delicious and the ingredients compliment each other very well. The only downside was that some of the portions were super small. We got a shrimp fried rice to share and it was very small and the shrimp was cut up in a way that you could mistake it for a piece of rice or a veggie. I thought I knew good sushi but this place takes first place now. If you're looking for unique rolls then look no further than Ke-Uh! I brought my mom here since our regular sushi spot is closed on Mondays and decided to try something new. We ordered the pork gyozas, Katana Roll and Ke-Uh Salmon Roll. The pork gyozas were perfectly steamed and the waitress explained that they also seat the outside for an extra crunch and by far it was the best gyoza I've tasted in a while. The gyozas come out to $8 which is pretty steep I think but most restaurants charge that amount for gyozas. My opinion I think for four gyozas the price could be a bit lower. Next up was the Katana Roll, and holy crap that was the best Roll I've ever had. The salmon was cold and fresh and the soy paper added an extra flavor I had not experienced before and there was an added crunch that ties the roll perfectly together. Honestly I could've eaten 3 orders of this Roll. The Katana Roll came out to $16 which in my opinion is fair for the amazing flavor. Lastly came the Ke-Uh Salmon Roll and it was good but nothing out of this world like the Katana Roll, especially for the price of $20 for the Roll. So why only 4 stars? Well the service wasn't all that great. Our server was absent a lot when we needed her but the quality of the food and the manager made up for it. Also, our entire dinner came out to $55 (with tip) and for that amount I would rather have left the place feeling fuller than I did. We ordered three or four different rolls and all were very nice. The riceless roll and the Pop roll were excellent. There are many other nice dishes in the menu. Food was very good and I saw a lot of take out orders as well as return clients so that in itself speaks highly of the restaurant. They are following protocol. A little bit of bad news for vegetarians and vegans though: the menu will be limited. I asked for a vegetable roll which is not on the menu and vegetable gyoza which is. Other favourites included the crispy brussel sprounts. They offer limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating which is nice because you can see the lake. FOOD We ordered the pork belly buns, unagi roll, and for desserts: brownie ice cream, fried oreos, and strawberry mochi. The food was decent but underwhelming. Our pork belly was 85-90% fat and was not seasoned well, however, the texture of the bun was on-point. Springy and well cooked. The unagi roll had almost no unagi in it at all. For $19 it is a laughable amount of eel. Their sushi rice was slightly too sweet. Their desserts were just okay as well. I think if they did not drench everything in sauce, it would be much better. My friends and I came here for a late night snack and to celebrate my friend's birthday. We ordered one order of pork belly buns, unagi roll, and some of their desserts. When the food came out, we accidentally received two orders of the pork belly buns. We brought it to our server's attention, and we communicated that there must have been a miscommunication, and we apologized. When Cesar brought it to the attention of the manager, he looked visibly disappointed and upset. They whisper argued back and forth, and we eventually felt so awkward that we told Cesar that it was fine and not to worry about it. Later, when the desserts (strawberry mochi, brownie with ice cream, and fried oreos), we dug in with eagerness. My friend has a nut allergy and spoke up saying that he believes there are nuts in the brownie. While this is something that we should have communicated as well, I do feel like if an establishment does not offer a physical dessert menu, the server should at least ask for allergies. Especially since this is a popular Japanese restaurant where most sauces and ingredients are unknown for the unfamiliar to Japanese cuisine. We asked a couple servers if there were nuts in the brownie, and NO ONE KNEW. Eventually, the manager came and told us that there were. We expressed that my friend has a nut allergy, and we got a soft apology and that was it. When the bill came, both the pork belly buns and brownie were still on out bill. No apology or anything was issued. We still tipped ~20% tip because we knew that the server was really not at fault. I gave this place two stars because it was not all bad. The server was nice, sweet, and polite. He definitely could have been, "Oh great. Last guests of the night." But he didn't.
