We chose seating outside as it has a water view, which we like. We first ordered the tuna tataki and the edamame with truffle. 10 out of 10 for both of these options. Just so happened to be in the area today and searched for a nearby sushi place and came across this lovely gem. Looked up the yelp reviews and I was sold. Upon arrival you get a small shotgun storefront in one of the plazas right off the turnpike. During lunchtime I'd they they were busy with room to still seat more. I didn't wait any more than 10 minutes for my food to arrive. Also, my husband and I came in with our newborn and they were polite enough to provide us with a discreet table in the back of restaurant with a nice water view. This was my second time at Ke-uh and my first since discovering I had a gluten intolerance. I made a reservation through Yelp and was seated as soon as I came in. Attached is a photo of their gluten-free menu - just ask for it. I ordered the edamame with truffle, brussels which are soooo good, and the fried rice which was a bit bland so I wouldn't order it again. Overall the service was amazing, extremely attentive, my partner also really enjoyed his non-gluten salad and pork gyozas, and I was glad to see an easy to read gluten menu. I'd love to see more gluten-free options moving forward. Definitely make a reservation to sit outside if possible. read more

6/12/2018 - We met up our friends here for a night of incredible sushi. After reading the Yelp reviews, I was so excited by all the recommendations. We walked in to an almost empty restaurant, it was early, around 6:30 p.m. Our friends were already sitting at a table in the back. The restaurant décor was very simple. The open kitchen is right at the beginning. We were greeted right away. Once seated we ordered waters and a Green Iced Tea ($4). After looking at the very interesting menu, we ordered one Crispy Rice Tuna ($14) and one Robata Eggplant ($3) for appetizers. The crispy rice tuna was disappointing. The rice was supposed to be crispy but it ended up tasting too fried; it was too thin and the tuna had no flavor. The Robata Eggplant was almost invisible. There were three of the tiniest eggplant rounds. Our friends ordered the Octopus and it was this thin tentacle with greens. I get that is tapas but there is no way of sharing anything. You don't even get enough for yourself. I ordered the Pork Bun ($12) and it was just hard and the pork was dry. We also ordered the Fish Lettuce Wraps ($15) and the Bonzai Truffle sushi roll, Kani Salad, Avocado, Cucumber with Soy Paper, Topped with Tuna Cubes , Truffle Oil ($16). The White Fish Lettuce Wrap was just ok, fish was fresh but very bland even with the sweet jalapeño vinaigrette. The best item we had the entire night was the Bonzai Truffle, very different flavor and look. The soy paper was a bright lime green. Made it very whimsical. Only item that stood out to all of us since our friends ordered the same roll. Overall, the service was good. It was pricey for what we got, even if it is tapas. Yelp reviews led me to check out Ke-Uh. A trendy, Asian fusion restaurant with eclectic decorating. The menu is only 2 pages but has unique items and drinks (by the glass and by the bottle). There is outdoor seating overlooking the lake and indoor seating. I ordered the Honey and Bonzai Truffle roll. Both were delicious!! The honey roll has Shrimp Tempura, Krab Salad, Avocado, Cream Cheese, Almonds, Walnuts, Honey, Lemon, Miso. The Bonzai roll has Kani Salad, Avocado, Cucumber with Soy Paper, Topped with Tuna Cubes , Truffle Oil. You can smell and taste the truffle oil!! Guys, this is a winner. Everything is good. EVERYTHING. Wagyu beef sliders, pork belly buns, ahi tuna, mango roll and gyozas were all spectacular. When I go on weekdays, their bento boxes are well priced and FRESH and DELICIOUS. I don't know what's in their sweet and spicy sauce but I'm digging it. The food here is very good. The prices are a tad bit high for what you get, but prices seem to be going up everywhere (inflation). The wait staff is also very nice. Those are the positives. The primary reason for only 3 stars is that their reservation policy will drive you mad. Sometimes they take reservations. Sometimes they don't. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Different staff will tell you different things (we've asked many times!). And IF you are able to make a reservation, there's almost always a problem with your reservation when you check in with the hostess/host. My wife and I go here almost every week, and I would say more than half of the time there is a problem when we show up with a reservation. The other downside is that they forget about your food and drinks all too often. You can wait 10-15 minutes for a drink after you order. The good news is that we usually get $20-$30 off our bill because they forget our food/drinks. It's not something we ask for, but they are kind enough to acknowledge their mistakes and offer to remove it from the bill. Like I said, we are weekly customers, so the bad experiences aren't a one-time thing, they are repeatable. We are thinking about scaling back on our visits here because of the problems I mentioned. If they improve, we will likely come back more often. read more
