This was very tasty for $11. So much sauce and hummus. Really tasty. My one complaint is somehow the stacking of the pita doesn't make sense. All the sauces are on top and you eat those quickly. Then you get to the vegetables, then you get to dry Lamb euro at the bottom. Still tasty, but I'd love to see those mixed better. Really friendly service. I recently had Kebab Express delivered via Door Dash and the experience was good and prompt. I always couch any review by delivery with the caveat, the restaurant should also be evaluated from an onsite visit and my review of Kebab Express is no different. I ordered the large wings and fries, lamb kebab over rice bowl and chicken tandoori kebab bowl over rice, opting for the fries, pickled onions and chickpeas over both bowls. The wings were still crispy upon delivery and so were the fries. However, the wings utilize a lot of breading and the seasoning they use in the breading or flour has a bit too much salt for my tastes. Your tastes may differ, but they are definitely heavy handed with the flour or breading on the wings. It masks the fact the wings are small. You will appreciate the seasoning on the fries, which seems to be the same seasoning on the wings, but not quite as salty. The lamb kebab over rice bowl was delicious. It is the lamb kofta variety, which is not described as kofta on the Door Dash app. I was hoping for regular lamb, but it was still very good. The white and green sauce meld all the flavors so nicely with the chickpeas and fries offering such satisfaction with every bite, with the pickled onions offering an acidic counterpoint to the savory lamb kofta. The highlight was the tandoori chicken kebab bowl, again with the chickpeas, fries and pickled onions on top with the green and white sauces. The melding of flavors and acidic counterpoint were the same, but the chicken tandoori kebabs were juicy chunks of chicken only, not kofta, and the experience is so satisfying. The tandoori preparation and spices offer all the savory with a sweetness unique to tandoori. Each chunk of chicken is so juicy and this was the highlight of my experience with Kebab Express. Next time I will go to Kebab Express to experience the atmosphere, the people working there, and food fresh from the kitchen. Given the ten wings cost nearly the same as the tandoori kebab over rice, I would skip the wings even if ordering in person. However, nothing is overcharged and don't forget the Mango Lassi. I ordered two and they are delicious and a great accompaniment to the spicy savory cuisine. The prices are reasonable and everything I saw was under twenty bucks. Three and a half stars. read more

Kebab express never disappoints! It's similar to build your own bowl/wrap styles where you can choose your protein and starch and toppings and sauce. My favorite part is that the toppings and sauce are unlimited so you can pick as much as you want or as little as you want. The food is delicious and always hot. Tried the newly-opened Kebab Express for dinner this past weekend and it did not disappoint! I first noticed the shop because it is so brightly lit and pristinely uncluttered. I regret not taking any photos of the counter area to show this-- didn't expect that mine would be the first review!-- but I will be sure to capture the interior on my next visit. The people are lovely. Menu-wise, the food is what you would expect from a halal/kebab place, but it is special in that it is noticeably fresh and flavorful. Nice choice of toppings and sauces, too, and generous portions. We got take-out, and I appreciated the use of paper bowls as opposed to the fully plastic containers you would get at most halal carts. Really glad to see a fast-casual place of this type in the neighborhood! Fits nicely among Mamoun's, Taim, the carts, etc. Reasonably priced, good portions, decent variety of toppings, with both tahini and white sauce offered, and the all-important pickled veg. And the taste has it where it counts. I'll definitely be coming around the corner for some future meals. Just one suggestion: when you build a wrap, put in the meat/falafel first. Hey, I rarely post reviews but I decided this was worth mentioning. The food was really good (amazing actually)! The price was reasonable and good portions. My only complaint was the food service by the female cashier/worker. From the start she was very dismissive and looked annoyed. I'm not sure if she was new or if she doesn't care. And what threw me off is at the end when I was paying the food was still on her side of the counter and I felt weird having to reach over to get it. Again, don't want to sound like i'm complaining but she did not give off welcoming vibes compared to the male workers who were very polite and even brought my sister's food over to us.
