First time coming here while visiting Bend and we had some delicious and fresh meditteranean food! I had to try the Gyro fries and they were a perfect balance of crispy fries and meat with lots of toppings: pickled onions, taziki sauce and heirloom tomatoes. It was really refreshing and the portion size looked small but was actually filling and could even be shared with two people. Its a cool Chipotle style concept and I was able to get my food really fast. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well. I would recommend chekcing this spot out! read more

Honestly, this typifies Bend and Bendites. As there's a dearth of any ethnic restaurants, those restaurants that are here are raved about, even though they are poor facsimiles of good food. It's like clockwork. Moreover Bendites are so defensive about any criticism that they become emotionally unhinged when discussing a bloody restaurant . Everything about our meal was mediocre or poor. Rice was undercooked. Sorry but in 2020 that's simply not acceptable. Adjust your rice cooker. The meat was just average. My wife's player with beef had 5 small pieces, roughly 2-3oz. Hummus was poor. Meanwhile you have locals gushing. It's an all too familiar sight in this city. There's good Mediterranean in Oregon. Just not in Bend. Having said that Kebaba and Bos Falafel are infinitely better. It's a brilliant concept just poorly executed. Like most Bend establishments, the staff were attentive and kind. I've been waiting for a quick Mediterranean food place to open in Bend! Healthy food on the both side has been severely lacking. I got a half rice half salad bowl, and my husband got a gyro. Both of us loved the topping, protein, and sauce options! My bowl was very good, affordable, and filled me before finishing half of it! The space was clean and lines were fast. OMG this place was so good! It was like Chipotle but with Mediterranean food which is truly my dream come true. I am very proud to have worked with Chef Nick a few years ago during my time as a line cook! Now that Kefi is finally open I can honestly say I've eaten there more than other quick service style restaurants in bend mainly for the fresh aspect of his cuisine. They have a vertical rotisserie spit for their Gyro which is amazing and I appreciate the true authenticity of the process. If they have them in stock, definitely try their Baklava as well, I've never been disappointed with Kefi or their food. In fact im not surprised they're doing so well, because of how well run their business is ran. Major Kudos to Chef Nick and his family. I thought it was unusual staff identified as the Mediterranean Chipotle, but it's essentially spot on. For $11 you can score a pretty great and super flavorful salad.
