I had an egg white veggie omelette and shared a piece of French toast with my daughter. I'm a foodie and would say it was good, better than a chain like IHOP or Perkins, but that's it. When a customer comes into a restaurant the last thing they want to hear is a manager yelling at their employees. Some things should be discussed in private. Poor girl. I hope she finds a place that will treat her better. What a disgrace! I'll gladly take my dollar somewhere else if this is how Kekes Breakfast allows their employees to be treated. The food was ok at best. I ordered the Florida Waffle combo which looked ok but the fruit looked like it was old. Our server Corel was very nice and friendly. The servers have been the last couple of visits here. The manager, older bald guy, was nice to us. He checked on us twice. But we still wont get over the fact of how the other manager yelled at that server. We shouldnt be able to hear that from the kitchen area. Just not a place you want to visit again. First off I would like to begin by saying I take as much blame for not mentioning anything and accepting my food and leaving.... I tried to help a local business and ordered take out from here yesterday on 4/21/20 The person who rung me up was extremely polite but as I was waiting for my food to be completed I was able to watch from the front register through the kitchen prep area. To my surprise the person preparing my food was NOT Using Gloves or a face mask. This is absolutely absurd and unacceptable. I did not want to make an issue about it bc who knows what he would have done if I asked him to remake my food. Not only that but the person who rang up my food used the same gloves that he touched the register with and proceeded to cut my toast with the same pair of gloves. I'm praying and hoping that I do not catch anything or get sick from this especially with all that is going on. I regret not filming this but I did not want to put this establishment on blast. I will never return here again and I'm sorry but the kitchen staff member should be either terminated or be on probation of some sort. The person who rung me up should also be retrained. How does a restaurant kitchen staff member prep food without gloves on? How does he not wear a facial mask during this time of crisis? He was breathing all over the food and then I also watched him roll up the pickle in parchment paper with his bare hands! I'm getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it. read more

The banana pecan caramel French Toast was excellent along with eggs and crispy bacon. Reason for 4 instead of 5 is only due to the entree being cold, waited over 10 minutes for the eggs and bacon sides since no one noticed they were not served. Also they do not serve lattes. read more

One of the servers/seaters commented to some people they were seating, "it's been pretty slow today". Didn't realize he was speaking of the service. Service dragged to get the beverages and refills, but the kitchen was pretty quick, I guess. Took about 15 minutes to get the food once we had ordered, which was the eggs Benedict and the portobello Benedict, they were tasty. It had been about 6 or 7 years since we had been to Keke's, and will probably be another 6 or 7 years before we go back again. read more

I've had a better breakfast. This place is overrated in my opinion. The Florida pancakes were just some pancakes with fruit on top, nothing special. The coffee was not very good. I normally take my coffee black, but I had to use 2 containers of creamer. And the coffee cups were oddly shaped and difficult to drink out of. Our server was nice and patient, but he brought us 2 coffees when we explicitly only asked for one. I would probably go somewhere else next time. read more

Hostess was incredibly rude. I was waiting on her to return to the hostess stand. she returns, completely ignores me and attends to the people that came in after me. I interrupted and let her know (nicely) that i was waiting first. She looked at me with indifference, didn't say a word, didn't apologize, didn't acknowledge that she made a mistake. Nothing. We wanted to give this place a try and the food was great. I would be willing to come back and try some other items from their menu, but I was not blown away by the food quality. They seem to focus on the Waffles and Stuffed French Toast, so if you are in the mood for a sugary-type breakfast, this is the place to go. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very ambient. My fiance got the BLT with a side of home fries. I got the Eggs Benedict with a side of home fries as well. The orange juice was very fresh, but man $4 a glass is awful expensive. When I am in town I always treat myself to at least one day here. The food is always good and the staff is very friendly and efficient. On this occasion I had two eggs home fries and tomatoes. There is always a line , And they won't seat you if your entire party is not there. I know the food is good but the prices are good to. If you're lucky you'll have a wait staff by the name of Cat. She is very friendly and helpful. When your food is ready someone brings it out. I am always surprised at large groups and how well they accommodate them. I can't wait to go back but they're only open till two in the afternoon you have to keep that in mind. They serve breakfast and they have a lunch menu. read more

What a great find! We wanted something close to our hotel that offered a good selection of breakfast options. We found Keke's and it was amazing. Jessica was our server and she was outstanding!! Friendly and never let my coffee cup drop below the '1/2' way point. We got the silver dollar pancakes, pecan pancakes and the turtle French toast. Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. While we were in Florida vacationing we decided to stop by KeKe's Breakfast Cafe. From the name we thought this would be a small hole in the wall dinner but boy, were we mistaken! This place is BIG and BEAUTIFUL. Tastefully decorated. We were a bit concerned at first being that we are minorities and everyone in there was not ( now a days you have to be safe) but everyone was beyond friendly. The waitress was nothing more than a delight, patient and very attentive- Our food came out within 10 minutes. It's very affordable for the amount of food you receive. We will be going back on our next trip in the spring. read more

This was my first experience at a Keke's where I left feeling like I had a subpar experience. The food wasn't the issue. My pancake was fluffy, turkey bacon was cooked to perfection and my eggs were as expected. My issue was the lack of service. First of all, it was late breakfast/lunch time and not super busy. Our server (whom I will not name as a manager can figure it out by reading the following) made it clear that he was training someone which is totally fine and expected as how else do you teach someone the ropes? Upon ordering, I drank my coffee pretty quickly and saw our waiter walking around with the coffee pot but he never once stopped at our table. I even placed my cup at the end of the table and tried flagging him down to no avail. After about 20 minutes our food arrived and still no top off of coffee. I've come to expect "coffee rounds" if I'm drinking hot coffee. I'd rather be asked too many times if I'd like more than not enough. As mentioned above, I ordered a pancake and syrup was not brought out. I had to ask (when our waiter walked back by 5 minutes later) for syrup. I also asked for more water in the middle of this and never got that. I'm very understanding of people having a bad day, being overwhelmed or simply being understaffed but it didn't appear any of these were the case. This was the only time I've ever had an issue at a KeKe's and it's less than 5 Miles from Disney where customer service is #1. I don't like posting negative reviews but this isn't service I've come to expect from a Keke's and although minor, I do feel needs addressing especially if he was training someone new. read more

Food is pretty consistent, good breakfast and lunch. But the service is brutal and that is why there is always such a long wait. Their turn over of tables is slow and when they say 10-15 min that is actually close to 25-30 mins KeKe's time. read more
