I have been to Kelly's Spa over the years. I have gotten facials, massages and pedicures. I love taking friends as a birthday gift for a pedi. The price for the top pedicure is $105. That is significantly higher than I remember and the value has not increased. Let me explain my second questionable experience. I was told that the top pedicure was longer massage time and paraffin wax. I timed it and the wax was on my feet for 3 minutes and massage was 8 minutes. The worker was very short, rough on me and cut me in a few places. Her demeanor was overall, very put out. She had a rash on her left elbow and put gloves on, kept itching it with the gloves on and then touched my feet. The nail polish was thinned with acetone right in front of me. With all this happening and a second experience of lacking, I don't recommend using them for pedicures. I love the overall spa still and access to the Mission Inn. Rated one of the top 10 spa's in California and I can see why! I chose Kelly's signature youth spa package. I had a soothing grape seed bubble bath and then went into a Swedish deep tissue massage. My therapist Sydney was awesome! She really worked on my shoulders. Not only was she strong but she has a great spirit. I connected with her immediately and instead of falling asleep I was screaming with laughter! It was one of the best experiences I've ever had while getting a massage! I ended with a Chardonnay scrub and a foot massage. I felt so refreshed when I was done. Of course I didn't want to leave and went back to the eucalyptus steam room for another 15 minutes! The customer service was so good I bought face cleanser and I never even had a facial! I would compare this spa to the Sonoma Mission Inn! Scheduling a couples massage was easy and convenient. I spoke with Elizabeth on the phone and she was able to answer my questions and book us in. Along with that, I made a special request to surprise my husband for his birthday and Kris the Assistant Spa Director immediately responded and was able to help me with my request. My husband was very surprised which totally made his birthday that more special. As for the massage, I got the prenatal massage and it was perfect and/or adjusted based on your preferences. Super disappointed. I booked a service in March and made sure I asked if they took SpaFinder gift certificates. Their answer was yes! To my surprise, after my service (May 8th) they tell me at checkout that I can't use my certificates and they stopped taking them since September . Not cool at all. If I would have known this I wouldn't have booked the service. I also understand we are still in a pandemic but everything felt super rushed. I booked a couples a massage and they immediately took us to the villa, massage and taken straight out to pay. No welcome drink, no snacks, no nothing. Not very relaxing. What a beautiful spa! I was just here for my birthday. All the Christmas decor and tree were up which made the ambient even more charming. Kelly's spa is not a big place but I liked how intimate it was except in the locker room. I wish the locker room was bigger as it occasionally got crowded. The eucalyptus steam room in the locker room was very relaxing. It seats about 4-5 people at a time. The steam room was great for detoxing and congestion. For treatments, I got a relaxing lavender bath and the holiday package of caramel chocolate scrub, wrap, and massage. My favorite was the bath as you literally step into a private room that is beautifully lit and set up. The jet-tub was awesome too. Overall, I had a great time! I spent about 6 hours here. My wife and I celebrated a part of our 42nd wedding anniversary with a couple's massage at Kelly's Spa. It was without a doubt, the best experience I've had to date. Professional, thoughtful and anticipating our every need we were transported to another time and place. Maybe Tuscany or somewhere in Asia but beyond my hometown of Riverside CA. After the fresh and dried fruit, almonds and the ice cold champagne we were placed in the capable hands of Jessica and Sydney and we could not have been more satisfied. An hour of total bliss. SPA TREATMENT! Every woman's dream for RELAXATION and PAMPERING. I visited Kelly's spa with a few friends and they did not disappoint. Start to finish was fantastic. They escort you to the Relaxation room where they pamper you with Champagne, chocolate, strawberries & cookies. The massage therapist took me to a room with a heated bed and I got 50 mins of Aromatherapy Infused Massage. The best I've every had. They also have a wide variety of different Specialty Packages to choose from. I also got the Hollywood Glow treatment. Not sure if I'm glowing but, it was real good. The treatments are very pricey but, worth every penny. I would definitely return, if I'm staying at the hotel again. read more

My idea of a Spa is normal or lower tone conversations inside and fun outside conversations by the pool. I would recommend this place Yes over day spas. my most recent experience was so good up until i had to pay. their system was down during this and they made me write my credit card information down and stated they would call me before making any charges. they called me at 9:15 at night leaving me a voicemail saying to call them back in the morning which i did and got no response. i check my credit card account days later and see i was charged $60 MORE for a simple manicure. and of course when i try to call to see why i was charged more, again, no one answers. the lack of professionalism and not even confirming with me the charge before charging me is ridiculous. i will never go back and i highly suggest people think twice before going here for services. read more

This was my first time at The Mission Inn and my fiancé booked me a facial at Kelly's Spa. I wasn't expecting anything better than I've had in LA but this exceeded my expectations. When I arrived 30 min before I was greeted by a sweet lady who showed me around the spa, gave me a mimosa and showed me to the lounge where I relaxed with my drink and chocolate before my facial. I hadn't picked what facial I wanted yet but Valerie, who did my facial, kindly advised me to try the Kelly'a Age Intervention Facial (and did not try to upsell me on anything or suggest any additional treatments). Valerie is probably the best facial therapist I've been to. She has a magic touch and you can tell she really cares. Everything was done with such care and the message was beyond relaxing. I really love coming here--always a pleasurable experience! This is our second time here--the previous time (summer 2017) was even more awesome because we stayed two nights at the hotel. This spa is gorgeous and heavenly, and for me, it seems that at every turn, I discover something done right or thought out (the products are so nice too). It is a small spa, yes, if you compare it to other industrialized versions, and I've sampled a few, believe me. But I'm okay with that because large spas tend to be crowded. But here at Kelly's, I have never felt cramped, even though they only have two shower rooms, a two-sink vanity area and small locker room. As for the services, they were heavenly and so spot on! We got exactly what we hoped for--and expected! I got Loretta for my reflexology and body scrub--loved her. My husband got Nathan for his hot stone 80-min. massage--he said he was awesome and really worked on what he asked for. But of course, Kelly's is not perfect, and so here are my suggestions, in order of my personal priority: (1) I bet the lounges could be more cozy if you dimmed the lights and made it quieter--okay, I know people like to come with their friends and loved ones, and naturally, they'd want to talk--that's okay, but can they be "admonished" to speak with their inside voices, please? Isn't the whole idea of a spa to be able to unwind and relax? There was a couple there who were talking, I swear, as though they were in their office! When they left, a group of three, gleeful young women came in and, well, you know how that goes! (2) For the locker room, could you space out locker assignments, especially for people arriving close together? It gets pretty cramped in there when you're almost shoulder-to-shoulder to the person next to you while you're getting ready. (3) Could you have the lady, who ushers people to their lockers, check to make sure the customer has the right size slippers, please? I had to hunt that lady down, after I discovered my slippers were two sizes smaller than my feet! (4) I wish there was a chair or bench in the reception area--my poor husband stood there for almost a half hour waiting for me at the end of our services! (5) And lastly, I really wish they had an indoor jacuzzi--I don't like the fact that it is outside in the pool area, but I understand it is part of the hotel, and that's why it's last on my list. This is the best spa in Inland Empire. It's small, intimate, and the staff is so attentive. I have never had a bad massage. Their linens are luxurious. Treat yourself to a bath before or after the spa. It works a special kind of magic. Also the steam room is a great way to begin and/or end your visit. It's a clean spa and well kept. They do sometimes have little issues. They had run out of their signature juices the day we went. But they more than made up for it with champagne and chocolates. The only thing I can complain about had nothing to do with the spa. We ordered a cheese plate and it was so underwhelming and over priced. Don't order this. Maybe don't even order food. Felt super pampered the whole time & going back again!! Arranged for an afternoon to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday. We were a party of 3, pre-arranged to have the spa service (massage), lunch poolside & champagne n' truffles package. Valet parking was also complimentary. We sat outside poolside to chat & had our lunch, lounged in the relaxation rooms & drank champagne. We gave about 2 hours to hang out before our appointments. There was access to their steam room but we didn't use it. Relaxation rooms had fresh fruits and fruit-infused waters. Each person had assigned lockers, with slippers and a robe. The change/shower area had plenty of amenities so all you'll need is bathing suit and credit card. Great thanks to spa receptionist, Hailey for answering all our group's questions over the phone & emails, and to the friendly & helpful staff (Alex) who was very attentive to our champagne celebration & locker room needs. Definitely call ahead to arrange spa services for group. Another bonus, they accept Spa Finder giftcards. Our check out was a bit confusing. We wanted to leave tip for the staff that served us, but front desk unable to break a large bill. Also we ordered additional food during our lunch but the bill never came & front desk again, said they had no access to that part of the billing. A bit strange, but we had 3-min before they closed, and 3-min away from our dinner res at Las Campanas (also at the Mission Inn, across the courtyard). I guess I am spoiled with my first spa experience being the Four Seasons in Westlake Village. Kelly's Spa is located in the historic Mission Inn, in downtown Riverside. The entrance to the spa was actually really pleasant, i think they have some type of scent generator outside haha. Once in, the check in area is a little small, but very peaceful, and loaded with merch. The staff is super friendly. My real gripes with this place are: The size. It is small and you just don't feel free. Not a fan of the co-ed waiting area. The steam room was luke warm The showers are small and there are only 2 The positives are the price. While it is small, there are full amenities. Even with my 25 minute massage i was offered champagne. The staff is the other great thing here. Every person i encountered was super friendly. I was staying at the Mission Inn and had nothing planned on a Sunday afternoon so I decided to call Kelly's Spa and see if they can fit me in for a massage. 30 minutes after the initial call, I was laying on the table getting a Coastal Stone Massage. This is a full day spa offering massage, facials, waxing, and nail care. They also have body scrubs and enhancements. The facility is very clean and relaxing. Upon checking in you're giving a menu to chose your complimentary drink. Then you're led to the women's/men's retreat to change into your robe and get comfortable before making your way into 1 of the 2 relaxation lounge where you're await for your service. The difference between the 2 lounge is one offers a fire place and some fruits you can munch on while waiting and relaxing. I waited for about 10-15 minutes before my masseuse picked me up and led me into a dim room where I'll begin my massage session. Once you are undress and inside the cover, the masseuse comes back in and dims the light and that's when the massage session starts. The Coastal Stone Massage is very similar to the Hot Stone but instead of leaving the stones on your back you're actually being massage by the stones. If I had known this beforehand, I would have stick to the Swedish massage i originally wanted to get. Reason being, I didn't felt like my knots and stress were released from my body. During the initial massage, I felt like I was just being rubbed with warm massaging oil. Nonetheless, it was still relaxing and recharging. After the service you have the option to go back to the relaxation lounge to unwind or make your way back into the retreat to shower or use the steam room. I highly recommend spending some time inside the steam room but don't get startle when you hear a loud roaring sounds, it's just more steam being dispense. I got scare because I was alone inside and had a wet towel over my face when I heard that noise. Kelly's Spa is an experience I won't forget or regret. The staffs are very attentive, friendly, and nice. I'd come back for another massage and use the facility, but I'll pass on the coastal stone and get another service. read more

Had the most amazing pedicure done today by Tami. Seriously walked away with the best flittering toes and knowledge that I have never heard before about how to care for my feet in between pedicures. Came early got to hang out by the pool relax and really have some self care.. Kelly's Spa is a boutique spa experience offering massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and the like. You are given the option of one of four beverages (non-alcoholic) when you enter the spa for services. The spa has two lounge areas that are both co-ed that are well appointed with fresh and dried fruits, nuts, citrus water, hot tea options, and on occasion coffee. Things to notes: 1. The women's facilities do not offer many options for sitting and relaxing inside the "locker room", there are two chairs and one ottoman ear the door. 2. Robe sizes and shoe sizes - I am going to assume positive intentions here but if you are larger than a size 6 - 8 shoes or clothes be prepared to wait for the staff to locate your size. 3. The pool and jacuzzi are shared with hotel guests, a significant point to ponder when considering using these amenities because children and teens and all of their unmolested energy make be there to greet you. 4. The towels used here are not traditional spa size bath sheets, they are home size dry towels so again if you are larger than a 6-8 be prepared to have a bit of your goodness exposed. 5. Ask for LaJuan for your massage needs and pray that Chelsea is on staff in the ladies facilities. Both of these individuals are assets to the spa; professional, timely, welcoming, and attentive. Chelsea could definitely teach her colleagues about being welcoming, discreet, and attentive to the guests. 6. I would ask when booking for what you need as far as sizes to avoid the delay and provide yourself with the opportunity to relax before receiving your services. read more

Get yourself pampered in whatever way you like - SPA BLISS. The best analogy I can give anyone to Kelly's Spa is it's like a Red Door Spa. For those who don't know what a Red Door Spa is, it's a high-end spa that provides salon and spa services for anything and everything. Matter of fact, I think Kelly's Spa offers more services than Red Door Spa. I was inundated at the shear amount of choices that were given on the menu for the services Kelly's Spa offered. You can get about 10 diff kinds of body treatments alone...choices! The hubs and I needed some relaxing-alone time after a weekend packed with family visits and a wedding. Couple Massage: Private room Next to the pool. I was kind of disappointed because I thought (my fault for reading too fast perhaps) that the view would be poolside; it's a private room with a shower, tub, and bathroom. Both our masseuse's did a nice job (although if you like "hard" massages, this is not the place to go...they're checklist had only "soft" and "medium"). The facility was clean, well-stocked (in the waiting room with fruits and snacks & in the womens room with towels, toiletries, etc.). They had courteous and polite staff. I would've liked more time to take a shower and relax after the massage in the private room. I also would've like to see more of a "couple's" selection, because I only saw 2 or 3 things that weren't extremely appealing. Thank you for not trying to "push products" on us front desk. Let me first say that Kelly's Spa is gorgeous and amazing. The massage therapists are FANTASTIC. I come with my mom every year at Christmas. We love it- Here's the problem- Kelly's spa needs to join the 21st century. I tried to purchase gift cards online since I do not live ANYWHERE close to riverside and they charge a $6.95 fee for "shipping" the card. It's literally an envelope size card I am so confused why the $6.95 fee. I also then tried to call and pre pay for our services and you can't do that either. Last time I went I also tried to pay with a gift card and my credit card and they were unable to accept the gift card for some reason? It was insane. Surprisingly, I called on Valentine's day and got a same day appointment. If you have a spa treatment, valet parking is free. I had one of the best massages ever! I cannot recall the therapist's name, but she was is skilled. She took her time and technique to work out my knots rather than rushing through. And she did not just focus on the knots as if they were pet projects. The amenities were lovely. There was plenty of fruit, nuts, and Champaign! The server was readily available and accommodating.
