A MID-SUMMER'S WISH BECAME A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!! This incredible story started in Mid-July when Jackson Chevrolet contacted me regarding a car sale promotion, At the dealership I met salesman, Adam Hunt, and informed him that I needed a certified, reliable, affordable, and safe vehicle with a V6 engine for my personal use and for my employment as a Personal Support Staff. I work with mentally challenged individuals (Consumers) who live at home with their parents. I provide community activities for the consumers while giving their parents some time off. Adam listened patiently as I explained my situation and then he suggested looking at a couple of certified cars. We took a test drive in a sharp-looking red 2014 Chevy Impala. When we returned to the dealership to discuss the price and the terms to purchase the car, I realized I could not afford to buy it. I WANTED THIS CAR and knew I had to save more money for the down payment. I was afraid the car would be sold before I could save the money. I left the dealership disappointed, but determined to save more money! I returned to Jackson Chevrolet in September at Adam's request to test drive another Impala. I still wanted the red one and offered a higher down payment. Adam consulted with the sales manager with the new offer, and a higher trade in allowance for my car, but an agreement could not be reached at that time. Adam persisted to close the deal during the months of October and November by numerous telephone conversations with me and consulting with his sales manager. I continued to save more money for the down payment and increased my offers. To my amazement, the red Impala was still on the lot in December! Adam contacted me AGAIN to inform me that the price of the car was reduced, and he said he was determined to work with me to negotiate affordable monthly payments with the management. On Friday, Dec. 18, we finally reached an agreement on the trade in and the monthly payments. I promptly put a $500 deposit down, and on Monday, Dec. 18, 2015 I drove out of Jackson's in my shiny red Chevy Impala. I would like to thank Adam for his salesmanship, patience, and persistence. I used to get my vehicle serviced here and boy was that a mistake!! Awful, just awful. My car had a check engine light on so naturally I brought it into the dealer thinking they have my best interest at heart. What a SHAM. These people will try to take advantage of you so if your car is out of warranty and you need work done I would 100% recommend taking your car elsewhere to a real mechanic and get a second opinion before forking out hundreds and possibly thousands of your hard earned dollars on services that will NOT fix your car. And they tell you this. They say "well it could be this" but "it might not fix the issue and it could actually be another issue that is going to cost you upwards of $1,500 for JUST the part." They actually told me this to cover their own asses because they knew that wasn't going to fix my car. They tried selling me a fuel/air induction cleaning for $200 and wanted to clean my plugs and soak in engine cleaner for $300. I took my car to my mechanic and he said they tried to sell me bull s***! All my car needed was new spark plugs and one new coil pack. She's been running like new ever since!! Shame on you KEY CHEVY. You lost a customer for life and I will not be repurchasing another Chevy in the future. They tell me they need a weeks notice for loner cars. Who the hell knows weeks ahead that their car will break down?! Some lady with a warranty still on her car was also getting work done when I went to pick up my car after they did a bs diagnosis and charged me $150 with no real answers on what is wrong with my car, and I see them hand her keys and tell her that her brand knew loaner car is all set. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. This business is a joke and I'm going to make sure I spread this review anywhere I possibly can to save other people from getting taken advantage of. read more

Recently brought my 2012 Equinox to Jackson Chevrolet in Middletown CT for an oil change. About a month before, we had checked the oil and it was OK, but hubby questioned how dark it was and asked when we were due - I told him in about a month per our miles. Then, I had noticed over the past couple of weeks that on 2 occasions I had what I call a 'hard start' - you know when it feels like things aren't quite in sync. It was only for a few seconds and then sounded ok. Then a couple of days before my appt. the car again didn't sound right at starting - we checked the oil and to our surprise, there was no oil showing on the stick. We put in a quart and moved our appt. up. Upon arrival I explained what had transpired - we were told that we would have to go through an oil consumption test process (drive 1000 miles/change the oil x 3) and if it was determined there was an issue, Chevy would be contacted and repairs would be made. So, I went forward and had them change the oil. To my surprise, later that day I received a call back from the service person who I dealt with earlier in the day. He said that his service manager had overheard our conversation earlier in the day and that they contacted Chevy. He said that Chevy approved the repairs to be done and asked if I could bring in the Equinox - which I did that afternoon. To my surprise, they basically had to rebuild the engine. Best car buying experience for me to date, and I've bought many cars. The website is great, the dealership is clean and well organized. As soon as I found what I wanted On line, I sent an email and was given an appointment for a convenient time for me. As soon as I arrived to the dealership, I was greeted by Stanley. I told him why I was there and immediately he invited me to his office and grabbed some details. Within minutes, he took me to the vehicle that I was interested in and out for a test drive. While we were out, they were looking over my trade in for an appraisal. Stanley was very personable and made me feel like we were old friends. We got back to the dealership, worked out some details and came to an agreement that worked for both parties. They made some $$ and I felt like I got a great deal. Win win!!! I told Stanley that I was short on time, so he offered me the option of returning the following day to finish the final paperwork. He gave me a dealer plate so I could take my new purchase home for the evening. I returned the next day and was again greeted by Stanley who introduced me to Kevin, so he could take me through the paperwork. Kevin is a master of his craft. Extremely well organized, quick and efficient. He thoroughly explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. Kevin is also a very personable guy and was easy to talk to. I had always purchased a new car and this was my first time buying a used car. I was a little hesitant because I feared high pressure sales or trying to get me to buy something out of my budget. I saw the vehicle I was interested online and scheduled an afternoon appointment. I got to Middletown and learned that my class had been cancelled due to ice and bad weather. I called Jackson to see if there was any way I could come earlier to see the GMC Terrain. No problem, it had already been cleaned off and brought to the front. I met the Manager Steve and he introduced me to Stanley. He made me at ease, no high pressure no trying to get me to buy a more expensive car. After the test drive he offered to write down some figures and had my Trade In evaluated. I left with a price and was considering purchasing the car. The following week my car broke down and had to be towed, the repair would have cost more than the vehicle was worth. When Stanley called me back to see if I was interested in the car I explained I no longer had the Trade in and was planning on putting that money as a down payment. He was able to drop the price and still make it affordable. Stanley called my Insurance company and had the Insurance cards faxed as well as arranging the registration and transfer. I decided to trade in my vehicle and was looking for a newer GMC Terrain. I checked on CarGurus and found one, with low mileage and in the price range I was looking for. Terrific dealership. Walked around few minutes, Salesman (Rich) came out asked us what type vehicle we were looking for. Stated they did not have the exact model,color etc. (2014 Chevy Cruise LTZ in Red tintcoat) we were looking for on their lot but could find and get one for us. We met with General Sales Manager and Business Manager along with Rich and told within 15 minutes they had found the vehicle in a MA dealership. They asked us how much we wanted for our trade-in 2001 BMW with 96K miles they said no problem, (without even seeing it). We were told at 3 other dealerships with vehicle with us that "No Way" they could give us that much and their price of vehicle was going to be higher also and we spent 2 to 3 hours waiting for them to check for vehicle locations and discussing "bottom line price". Nice garage/repair area, very busy. We all shook hands and picked up the vehicle 2-days later. They went over the whole vehicle and all paperwork was explained before we signed each piece. Nothing like any other dealership just honest, straight forward sales with no theatrics. Recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. Very satisfied customers! read more

This was perhaps the best car buying experience we've ever had. Stan was knowledgeable and got us all the incentives we were entitled to and he listened to what we needed and made us feel secure that the vehicle we chose was the right one. He did not try to steer us toward something that did not fit our needs. He clearly loves what he does and it shows Mike from service happened to come into Stan's office while we were there and assured us that we would love our new vehicle. Kathy at the desk also made sure we were comfortable while Stan was busy checking into things for us. We did not use their financing but Kevin was so efficient with getting all the paperwork required done in advance. There were no surprises on delivery day.The tradein and delivery was fast and painless. We were in and out in about an hour including a tour of service and a quick go-over of the bells and whistles in the new vehicle. It is clear to me why Jackson is one of the last dealers standing. I was in the market for a pre owned 2016 Acadia. I found out through Cars.com and CarGurus that Jackson had one with 20k miles on it. We went over to check it out, and it had made our short list. After driving a couple other similar models at other dealerships, we returned to speak to someone about it and ask for a test drive. We were greeted by a very friendly salesman named Stanley, who was more than accommodating. He stayed late to allow us to take a test drive and ultimately put down a deposit. We were also very pleased with Kevin who does the financing. He was very knowledgeable and helped us find the right extended warrantee that would meet our needs. So far we have been very pleased with the dealership and are very happy with the vehicle (we have owned it for one day :) ). Went to Jackson Chevrolet to shop for new truck to replace one owner 2004 Toyota Tundra, SR5, access cab, V8, 4WD TRD truck with 202,xxx miles. Worked with Stanley Statkiewicz who was personable open and honest with none of the usual new car sales gimmicks. Stanley presented transparent transaction details on 2018 Silverado Custom, Crew Cab, V8, 4WD truck in a clear concise format so an informed purchase decision could be made when compared to truck shopping at competitive dealers. My husband and I were in search of a new vehicle for the family. We had a GMC Yukon XL previously and wanted to keep within that same general size/type of car. After going to the local GMC dealer and having nobody ask us if we needed assistance (it was raining and I guess they didn't want to get wet), we went to Jackson Chevrolet to check out the Tahoe and Suburban's in stock. We were greeted pleasantly by a wonderful salesman who offered to have us test-drive a vehicle. We liked the vehicle, but wanted a few different options and different color. The salesman searched for several days to find us the exact vehicle we were looking for. The nice thing is, at no point did we feel pressured to buy a vehicle and developed a great deal of trust with the salesman and the dealership. Just purchased a 2016 Corvette from Jackson Chevrolet. They get 4 Stars. I live on Long Island, NY and searched new Corvettes on the Internet. Found exactly the Corvette that I wanted in terms of color and accessories. My salesperson Bill was very down to earth, no pressure and provided me with a very good price. When I picked up the car it was sitting in the front of the dealership ready to go. Kevin (Business Mgr) prepared the documents in a very comfortable manner and explained everything clearly without any pressure to purchase add'l warrantees (although I did purchase the extended 7 yr warranty). Matt did an excellent job explaining the features of the car and in fact took my call the following day to further explain the remote starter. I had an excellent with my previous experience buying a car from this dealer but had to return to address a minor issue with the vinyl stripe that the car came from the factory with. I noticed a small defect on the stripe that was installed from the factory. I brought it to the attention of the service department and they didn't hesitate to take care of it. They ordered a replacement for it and made the appropriate plans to get it replaced. It was relatively quick and painless and they seemed to really want me to be as happy as I could be with the car. Throughout the process, they took extra steps to make sure I knew that car was taken good care of and in some ways, it made me (and my car) feel more special that necessary. Now my car is perfect and I can sleep soundly at night. I don't live very close to the dealership but I will be making an effort to go here for service in the future. read more

First, starting with an online request to set up an appointment to view a couple of trucks. The online team was very helpful and informative. I was greeted by a friendly staff as I arrived for my 2:00pm appointment and sent in to see the sales manager named Stanley. What a nice man! Very patient with me. Not pushy at all! He already knew what i wanted, so I gave Stanley the stock numbers of the trucks i wanted to see and he gave me as much time as I needed to make my decision. We then went over the prices/payment plans and after some time of running my credit and signing all the paperwork with their very helpful business manager, I drove out of Jackson Chevrolet in my new truck around 8pm. We had a very positive experience buying a car from Jackson Chevrolet. Our sales manager, Stanley, was very pleasant and made the buying experience so quick and easy for us. He even worked on Sunday to find the model with the exact features and color we wanted. He worked with the insurance agent to make sure the insurance transferred to the new vehicle seamlessly. He always kept us updated throughout the process. Our business manager, Kevin, was very helpful in completing the paperwork and explained everything very clearly to us. I also spoke with the service department. The service consultant, Wayne, and one of the technicians (I did not get his name) spent a lot of time answering all of my questions about the service department. Just bought my 7th Chevy from Stan Stankiewicz at Jackson Chevrolet. Stan sold me my first car back in the 70's, and the guy has not changed. He breaks the myth that buying a car is a hassle. What Stanley does is show you the cost of the car in black and white, discusses any rebates that you might be eligible for, gives you a very reasonable credit if you're trading in a car, and then works hard to meet your budget. He's really good at listening to the customer and helping you find the right car to match your specifications. Stan is clearly one big reason why I have bought all of my cars from this dealership for the last 40 years. My husband had been looking for a car for quite some time. We decided to check out Key Chevrolet to see what they had especially since he had driven a Chevy for 19 years and it was very good to him. We met Stanley or as I like to call him "Stan the Man"! He was an excellent salesman. So polite, personable, thorough and friendly. He showed us multiple cars and gave us complete details on all of them. He gave us all the time we needed to discuss our options and he did not hover or pressure us into anything. The communication was extremely poor. When I arrived to get my car detailed, they asked if I was dropping off or waiting, and I opted to wait. However, after waiting for 3 and a half hours, they informed me that they had barely vacuumed it and it might take another 3 hours. If the cleaning was going to require an entire day, they should have communicated this upfront at drop-off. Despite the sales rep's apology and suggestion to return another day, I've been attempting to email him for the past week to arrange a suitable time for both of us, but I haven't received a response. This lack of communication and follow-up has left me very disappointed with the service at this location. I would advise others to consider visiting a different Chevrolet dealership. read more

St. Luke's Community Services just recently purchased a second used car for our small non-profit agency from Jackson Chevrolet and, as an Executive Director, I could not have been more pleased with the process and outcome. Tamera Jackson and her team are the best...listening to our needs, finding the right vehicle within our price range and then making it happen. We use our vehicles for providing free out-of-area transportation for older veterans, and so we need vehicles that we can afford but that are comfortable and reliable. Our Sales Consultant for the second time, Andrew Mierzejewski, was of great help to us and very professional.
