I had a very bad experience at Sage Hyundai on Vermont Ave in Los Angeles, CA which has, not to my surprise, shut down; it was so bad that I wrote the CEO of Hyundai. My visit to Keyes was the complete opposite. The staff are extremely professional, service runs like clock work, my service person Ani, was outstanding. Their concierge service provided transportation home and back to the dealer after service was complete. I am very pleased and will not only be back for service, but will likely visit them first when I purchase a new car. read more

I worked with Jimmy who knew I was unhappy about my previous experiences but I am happy to say, he made everything right. I was at the this location on Feb 1, with the hope of getting past service records printed for my 2012 Hyundai Elantra . I had called earlier in the week and spoke with a service associate who asked me to come in person since they are unable to email me due to confidentiality. I get it, but then again they could verify my information and e mail account on file since they email service updates on my car. As they were not going to agree to my request, I went in person today and spoke to the receptionist who asked me to go to the service department. I waited about 10 minutes all associates were either too busy attending to others or simply ignored me and just walked by without asking if I needed help. Finally I went into one of the cubicles and asked a female associate if she could help me She said she'll be right with me but never came out or said how long it will take. After nearly 15 more minutes of wait I decided to go speak with another person who was outside a service cubicle . I told her I was trying to get the attention of a service consultant. She inquired what I needed and I said I need my past service records printed . Then she tells me " I'm the right person "and took me to her office. But she was no help . Her name is Angelica Moreno the service director. I told her I was asked to come by the office anytime before they closed and no appointment was necessary and I could ask anyone in the service department to print my past service records . Angelica advises me that the person who scans is not in and that she'll be able to email me a detailed report .I asked her why they couldn't oblige with my first request when I asked them to email the details. Of course she tells me the whole confidentiality but then gives me a printed report and didn't even ask me for an ID or anything to verify it was me !So how does she know my identity!!! She gives me a summary for a few years and I insisted that there should be more service records since I purchased my car in 2011 I have only brought it for services to this location except the last 2 years.She goes on to tell me that she's been with the company for five years and she knows what she's doing. I did not ask her for her employment history! I wanted to know why my service history for several years didn't show . Then she asks me why I don't have the service invoice copies since they provide one with each service !!! Now do I need to go on a Saturday afternoon and spend my time if I had all my invoices with me? She also asked me where I purchased the car . That was an irrelevant question since I know where I have been taking my car for service the past years . She was telling me perhaps I took it elsewhere . At this point I was really annoyed and frustrated.As the director of the service department who on the back of her business card states this .... should the person reading my business card know if anyone who is not satisfied with the products or services, I will consider it a favor to be notified. Above all things we wish to avoid having a dissatisfied customer !! So here I am doing you a favor, letting you know I was a very dissatisfied customer. The way you attended to me was very unprofessional You didn't offer me a seat in your office neither did you give me your business card . I had to ask for it so I could follow up . Your company policy about not being able to email due to confidentiality but you were able to give me an initial summary without checking my ID and my name is not even on the account ! However you took my email address and agreed to email the records. So contradicting statements!!! It Going on to say when I used to bring my car in for service to Van Nuys after the first few years, the customer service experience overall was very disappointing . After finding out that Hyundai had a new service location in Mission Hills ( not any better ) closer to my home, I have been taking my car to them. It's been there for almost 2 weeks and does not have an estimated date of completion as of today. So,a word for future buyers make sure you don't buy cheap!!! This car has been a problem after the first few years with the same issues and their technicians have not been able to correct it while still being under warranty and I have paid a good amount of money for repair and services they have asked from me through their so called service consultants. read more

WARNING.. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.. DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORD, WEBSITE OR ADVERTISEMENTS, INCLUDING AUTOTRADER. THEY WASTED 6 HOURS OF MY TIME ON A SATURDAY. DISHONEST.. FALSE ADVERTISING. DON'T HONOR CORPORATE SPECIALS OR PROGRAMS... I called keyes Hyundai on a Saturday morning, I expressed interest in a vehicle. I gave them all of the information they needed. I told them what Hyundai Corp lease deal I wanted, the exact vehicle on their lot I was interested in. I gave them my VIN, pictures and payoff amount of my trade in. There was nothing I left out. They told me to come on up. They could make it happen. I told them I was coming from far away, they told me to come in. I showed up, they looked at my car, I saw the car I wanted to lease and I sat down for the ensuing car dealership grind. The lease deal on the Hyundai website was $3889 down plus tax and license and $349.00 per month. I have attached the docs below. The first payment the sale manager came back with was $569.00 per mo.. OMG. How do you get from $349.00 to $569.00? They told me I was upside down on my car for $1,000.00. I told them I would pay that difference on top of the down payment already required, in cash. The sales manager then came back with a payment in the HIGH $400's. OMG. They had supposedly added over $3100.00 of Add-on's to the car that I didn't need or want. They added $795.00 for an aftermarket car alarm by Karr Security, door trim guard protectors, and paint protection). Honestly, I saw and felt the car, it didn't have the protection film on it yet. The vehicle already comes with a factory alarm, why would I need another alarm? Furthermore, the Karr alarm is an aftermarket alarm module that can be removed, if it was even installed yet. The Door trim protectors do not cost $795.00, even if they were installed. I told him that I didn't want any of those add on's. I simply wanted the vehicle listed as is on their website (shown in attachment) and the corporate lease deal offered by Hyundai (also show on attachment). The sales manager made two more trips to the "Finance office". Each time he came back, I would ask specifics about the numbers, he honestly couldn't explain what was in the payment. He was only concerned with how much I wanted to pay per month, which was clearly defined on the Hyundai Corporate website. He finally came out and told me that he wouldn't sell me the car without the add-ons and he only had 3 of those cars left and they wouldn't make enough $$ from the Hyundai Corporate lease offer. That was the only honest statement he made all day. The original sales person disappeared. I didn't see him after the 1st round of number talks. I got in my car and drove home. I drove 4 hours total and wasted 2 hours in the dealership. I wasted over 6 hours of my time, on a Saturday, because of their tactics and dishonesty. Remember, I explained and told them everything I was looking for in detail before I even got in my car. Honestly, I think this is a huge case of false advertising. See the attached Hyundai lease special and their dealer website listing. However, the most criminal part was telling me to come up after I had disclosed everything I was looking for... **CRIMINAL** Someone owes me 6 hours and a Saturday back.. I wonder how Hyundai Corporate will feel about these tactics. I'm pretty much ready to go buy a Chevy Bolt after this experience. read more

I just bought a Hyundai Genesis Coupe from this dealership and the experience was really a pleasure. The whole Keyes network is really top notch and it's the reason I came back to them at the end of my lease (from the former Keyes Nissan). They keep their facilities clean and the employees I interacted with were all professional and very straightforward. They will show you every number and explain the how and why for the final price, I didn't fee like anything was glossed over or hidden about the transaction. Oscar has got to be one of the nicest car salesmen I have ever interacted with. I never felt pressure from him and he was extremely patient and professional. Even after signing on the dotted line he took the time to show me all the features of my car. In 2014, I thought George was great, but when I reached out to him to give him our business again. He ignored my requests and manipulated the situation the entire way through. and when he couldn't coerce us into signing in the dotted line, he sent in an overly aggressive sales manager to do what he was too cowardly to try on us. Something happens to George in the years in between while at Keyes, and we are again anti-salespeople, but George really took an interest in getting us the right vehicle for our budget. He didn't listen and proved that most salespeople, at least this one, has working ears and was in the deal for his own interests (and that of his company). He has lost our trust and for that, we will NEVER consider buying whatever George is selling, nor return to Keyes Hyundai. Hopefully, he'll find where he lost his integrity(or to whom he sold out for) and will work to restore it. Thanks for nothing, George!! This dealer is the worst and even Senior Sales Manager, Brian Sobal, wanted to make excuses by claiming that other dealers are more deceptive. That doesn't make it right sir. And had anyone allowed us to leave without changing the terms and sullying the new car experience, we would have found that out and return, told friends to go there and left the original Yelp review the praised George. I'm glad this town has more than one Hyundai, because I've driven all they way to Harbor Hyundai in Long Beach and will be happy to do it again. You should too!!! DO NOT get your car serviced here. My dad always warned me not to go to the dealership for repairs or tune ups- should've known better. Last week I was quoted a price which I already thought was entirely too high. When I picked the car up- the price was $150 higher. They played dumb about the additional charge. They'll play you, they'll over charge you and they won't apologize for it. What I do know is that a new car, that has been kept up to date does not need $400+ in work at 15,000 miles. BUYER BEWARE!!! I'm not sure what kind of business practice this dealership is under. This dealership is a joke! Their motto is pretty much, I will show you a price and tell you a price for a vehicle and then add a bunch of stuff jacking up the price that is non-negotiable to keep. It is a complete waste of time, I don't understand how they're still in business after doing this I will report them to the Better Business Bureau. They wanted to charge an extra almost 1,000$ for a vehicle that they had priced differently online simply because they had added nitrogen to the tires which they wanted 400$ for and a LoJack system that they wanted $500 for. Nitrogen in the tires costs around 10$ - 15$ per tire at local tire shops and thats on the expensive side. The salesman reasoning for this ridiculous overpriced addition was that's just the way we do business it's a back-and-forth we want to make as much on the car and you want to get it for as cheap as possible. Anyone should be able to charge as much money as they want for any type of service they could have charged $1,000 for nitrogen but don't tell me a price over the phone, show me a price online make me drive 30 minutes just to add an extra $1,000 to the price that you just told me about be Fair, honest and upfront from the beginning. As soon as they told me that, we were not going to purchase a vehicle we listened to their offers simply for humoring purposes lol i talked to 2 other clients in the bathroom that said they tried doing the same thing to them. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Went in with family, interested in Kona EV Limited trim. Salesperson was perfectly cordial, showed us car, explained features, etc. Really courteous. Once we sat down, asked us about down payment, etc. We wanted to know the actual price before committing to anything. He didn't share actual price, just MSRP. We allowed him to check our credit, because he volunteered that it would be a "soft pull," although we're not sure it was. Guy came back with slimy sales manager saying that our credit was excellent (we already knew this) and offered that "Hyundai doesn't like us doing this...but the best bet is to lease for a month, and then buy outright, to take advantage of all incentives." We explained we've never heard of this option, and we'd need to discuss it. Guy kept telling us it was a great deal, this was the best way, Hyundai doesn't like to do it, etc., then eventually walked away for us to discuss. Did some quick research on $7500.00 tax credit, on our phone and confirmed when leasing, the dealer keeps the tax credit. Mind you, he still quoted us the MSRP, NEVER disclosing they'd keep the $7500.00. We decided to leave, but my wife decided to ask for our credit reports before doing so. While he pulled them up to print, I asked him about the credit, and he casually responded "Oh, you're not gonna get that. We get it, but we pass it on to you, but you don't have to file paperwork." Again, this is after quoting MSRP. In other words, they were going to make more than $7500.00 over MSRP on our dime, not including all other associated costs. The term 'let the buyer beware' was made for Keyes Hundai in Van Nuys. I have $2,000 left to pay on a 2016 Hundai Elantra that I bought new in 2016. But because I had recently had a stroke and was a woman, I walked in with my eyes wide shut, and ended up paying $28,000 for what should have been at that time $18,000. There was a sign on the wall that said I could change my mind (they took it down soon thereafter), and I changed it twice without anyone explaining anything about all the fees, service charges, state fees, etc. that occur when one changes their mind. I sued and received at least $2000 back, but Van Nuys Hyundai appealed and even that little amount was rescinded. Van Nuys Hundai is right next to the Van Nuys Superior Court and so I'm sure they contacted one of their cronies to hear their appeal. A guy named Johnny and his boss whose name I forget kept warning me it wasn't going to work out well on my behalf. How well he knew what was coming down the pike as I'm sure the judge was one of their friends who said to me at the end, "but I bet you like your car". He was surprised when I said "no". It was a bright red and I hated it, and a friend gave me $1,000 to have it repainted. At least I don't have to be reminded every time I get in that I had been duped big time. read more

I called the glendora hyundai where I purchase the car from and asked if my battery was still under warranty she said no that they didnt cover that. I called Keys Hyundai immediately she told me its 36k miles or 3 years or they can see what they can do.
