I'm not one to write reviews but the customer service here was so horrible that I feel the need to warn people about purchasing a car here. Long story short: zero customer service and long waits even when there are salesmen who clearly aren't busy. They are the sleazy salesmen stereotype. Didn't treat me like a legitimate customer. I was hoping to trade in my car for a newer model today and when I showed up to the dealership, there was nobody there to greet me (to clarify, there WERE people there, but nobody bothered to ask how they could help when I came in). I had to find someone and ask them for assistance. I gave them my car keys to appraise at 6pm and almost 1.5 hours later, they hadn't finished the appraisal. Keep in mind, they weren't busy when I showed up. During that 1.5 hours, I was looking at other cars with one of the salesmen (mark) who at the time was pretty nice. I went to test drive a car (Bc of covid you drive it alone) and when I came back, again zero customer service, and nobody was there to pick up the car from me or help me repark it. So I parked it myself and first waited in that spot for mark to come back, when he didn't I went into the used car building and nobody was inside. So I went into the main building, and again nobody offered to help me (I had salesmen walk past me and ignore me) so I went to the front desk. There were 4 ish salesmen there and they didn't acknowledge my presence at the desk for about a minute (they continued whatever chat they were having with each other). Finally one of the managers helps me I tell him Mark wasn't there to help me, and he told me mark was busy closing another deal(which is fine) and so I can wait. I asked if I could get my cars trade in/appraisal value while I waited and so he said he'd do that. While he was on the computer he gave me snide comments about a scratch on my car and how I was still making payments on it (I had only bought it a couple years ago so of course I still had payments). It felt VERY rude. And he continues at his computer and then walks away without letting me know where he's going. I had assumed it was to look at my car so I continued to wait. Finally I went to my car to find him and nobody was there! I just got abandoned. Zero customer service and zero transparency. I feel like I wasn't taken seriously as a worthy customer (whether it's because I'm younger, a female, or I had an older car). It's one thing to treat your customers badly but another to just completely ignore them. I will not be buying a car from Toyota Keyes ever and do not recommend it to anybody. Drive to Santa Monica or a different dealership for better service. read more

I purchased my truck here 10 years ago and it was easy. For a long time I had my truck serviced here, until it took longer and longer to complete, and the costs to do so were increasing at a high rate. Today, I purchased exterior weather molding from the parts department, which I chose to do because I knew they would have the right part. Here is the issue. The parts were $260 no big deal, when I took it in for instal I asked the pertinent questions- how long? how much? The answers floored me. it's literally clip in clip out molding, the answer was 2-3 hours at over $200 an hour for labor? $200 hourly labor ??? That is a joke ! The job would have cost me over $400 and in reality should take less than 90 minutes! This is a joke! read more

The only reason I asked for him was because I was told to see him by another dealership I was previously at. He Had the audacity to tell me how "he was the guy that produced the most work and he usually didn't take walk ins that ask for him (even though i had an appointment), especially people who are not (customers) because now he has to input me into the system himself ." When I told him I DON'T NEED him and would gladly work with ANYONE else he ignored me and proceeded to waste both of our time making unnecessary phone calls to my insurance WITHOUT looking at my vehicle and creating a work order. Came here looking to lease a new camry and was not disappointed. Look for Ali Akhavan, he's the best salesperson I've ever encountered. I've gone shopping for three cars already and always dread the experience but Ali is truly exceptional with his service. I found a deal online where a 2017 Toyota Camry SE was only $189 a month for the most basic of models. Came Saturday night around 8pm to find a silver Camry SE. They didn't have any currently there but Ali said they might have 3-4 in storage. We test drived a 2017 Camry LE since the experience of driving the LE and the SE are pretty much the same. Really liked how nice the car drove but my parents weren't sold on it just yet. I told Ali we wanted a night to think about it. He was very understanding and told me to come back whenever and just text him so he could get the silver SE out of storage so we could take a look at it. Came back Sunday evening, but the only Silver Camrey 2017 SE was modded with a sun roof, body side moldings, and leather seats. The new monthly price would be $245 but Ali was able to bring it down to the original price of $189 and with tax it would be $206. Got a better version of the car for the same price. I was due for a service even though I haven't been driving the car but took it in anyway because of the email notification. As usual I was left sitting in my car for about fifteen minutes while people were standing around, getting lunch, etc. Not a huge deal but it was still irritating. What WAS a huge deal was when the service guy came up to my car and I asked how long this basic service would take and he said, "We have a lot of employees out with Covid so it will take about three hours. You will HAVE to be patient. We are in a pandemic." I'm sorry, what? This jerk SHOULD have said, "We are running way behind, I see you are here for a service that shouldn't take that long so would you like to reschedule and I'm sorry for the inconvenience." INSTEAD he tells me I'm in a COVID HOTSPOT and suggests I wait THREE HOURS for a basic service! And then wants to get snippy with me? John Fildisis is his name, and I'm sure he was having a long day. THAT isn't my fault but his attitude IS HIS responsibility! Are they so desperate for "service dollars" that they think it WORTH risking the health and lives of their friggin' customers? Exactly HOW MANY employees are "out sick"? Perhaps the dealership should close, do a deep clean, and then open back up? My FRIGGIN HEALTH AND LIFE are worth MORE to me than a friggin service! I told them the situation and we started seeing cars that they wanted me to choose from. The start was good, we walked around, saw the features and picked out a vehicle. We came to talk numbers they quoted me 530-560 per month and 1200 down. I told him let's do 539 and you got a deal they told me ok let's see what we can do. Came back after 20 minutes and the price was 2000 down and 680 per month. I was honestly shocked. Is this a joke? You give one thing and when one agrees you jack up the price? What the HELL is the problem with the salespeople here? Looking all decked out in nice suits and ties, acting like snobs...fellas, this is not time to be cocky. It's recession baby! If you're not meeting your quota, work your ass off instead of looking good. I went here on Sunday to take a look at a Sequoia...that's right a SEQUOIA.. IT's probably one of the most expensive Toyota's in the lot, and I got the CRAPPIEST customer service. FIrst, the dude would only let us look at car and not OPEN the car. WHAT THE HELL? And then he tells us he can show us a car inside but its in the back lot. Once I get to the back lot, we all try to open 10 cars and none of them would open with his keys. GET WITH IT MR?! ALl this would be only slightly annoying if it wasn't for me freezing my asss off in the cold outside in the back. Seriously, they treated us like we're some homeless people wandering thier lot. That is jackedddddddddddup. Just for that, I am going to go out of my way and drive even 30 minutes to buy from a nice dealership with nice salespeople. SCREW YOU, YOU LOST MY BUSINESS BUDDY. BUYER BEWARE! Worst customer service anywhere. Never pick up the phones. Manager is beyond rude. Sales staff are not knowledgeable about any of the cars and details. Be careful when signing the sales contract- they have this scam of a method by using an iPad and quickly swiping all signature areas not allowing the consumer to carefully review all disclosures as with traditional papered contract methods. What a horrible experience! Maybe I shouldn't have come on the 4th of July, but it's not my fault the dealership was understaffed and the salesmen were rude. I spent over eight hours here, negotiating and waiting to sign the lease. I was sitting in my new car, papers signed, finally ready to leave, when the salesman tells me he can't find the books and extra set of keys from my car. And also, I would have to come back another day to sign MORE paperwork because the guy in charge was already gone. Seriously? It's like he purposely waited to tell me this until I had signed the lease. When I complained, he had the audacity to ask me if I was getting upset over a set of keys, then he said I could either come back to the dealership the next day or just deal with having my one set. He then proceeded to turn his back on me and walk away. Wow what?! Finally, after the manager handed us over from one salesman to another, we were promised that our keys would be delivered (even after the manager said that wasn't allowed...honestly these people don't even know what they're doing). It is now four days later, and still no keys. I called to follow up about it, and was told they simply couldn't spare the staff to make the delivery. I asked about the rest of the paperwork and was again told that the man in charge of it wasn't there. Take your business elsewhere, Yelpers. I just went into the Totota dealership with the goal of possibly buying the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. First, I could not find a salesperson to help me. When I finally saw a gentleman that looked like he might be a salesperson, I approached him and asked for help. He (Armani) asked me what I needed and proceeded to talk down to me, actually asking me "can you afford a $80-90,000 car?" Unbelievably rude. If I were a man he would never have spoken to me this way. I told him I could and then he questioned if I would buy or lease. I said I had always purchased in the past but I would be interested in leasing. He then let me know that this would not be an option. The whole conversation was absurd and incredibly sexist. Shouldn't he tell me more about the car before grilling me on my finances. Btw, not that it matters but I was dressed nicely and really in LA (arguably anywhere) one shouldn't make assumptions of who can afford what. In an attempt to buy a 4Runner I stopped by Keys Toyota on Sunday. I was greeted by a sales person where I told him I was there to see and buy a 4Runner. I asked him to show me a fully loaded car where he walked me to a blue 4RUNNER with a tan interior. I opened the door and looked through the car. When nothing in the car worked he told me that they disconnected the battery for safety reasons. The salesman was unable to open the tailgate to the car. He seemed unfamiliar with the car. When I asked him to use the key to open the hatch he told me that due to safety reasons he wasn't allows to open the hatch on the car. When I insisted he gave me a brochure told me to look at it in the catalogue. I promptly discarded the brochure in the nearest trash can. I drove up the street and within an hour and a half I drove off the lot with a 2015 Jeep Rubicon. My third purchase this year. These guys are a disgrace. As long as Toyota supports these morons I will never buy Toyotas either for personal or my work. I am sure there is another car mark or dealer that deserve your business. This was a nightmare. Fortunately I never set foot into the dealership. When I buy cars for myself or others, I do "internet shopping". Keyes has an "internet department" and the point of contact is Loubna Haddadi. I exchanged no less that 8 emails with Loubna asking for a specific quote on a particular car in their inventory. Each time I received email asking about driving habits, whether or not 4 wheel drive was important, etc. It's like this person wanted to be my adviser for shopping for cars, which just the opposite of Internet Car Buying. I even searched inventory and KNEW they had the car I wanted a quote on. No quote. Ever. It was a royal PITA dealing with Keyes Toyota. After giving up, we purchased (yesterday) a new Prius C at Ventura Toyota (YAY!). Ventura was cooperative in providing me with a bottom-line price on the car we wanted, no BS, extremely friendly and low-pressure staff, and the bottom line price was a really good price.
