I wish I would've gone with my first instinct because it was horrible!!! The 3 guys working were dressed like slobs, not in any type of uniform. It didn't seem like anyone knew what they were doing. Ordered an 8 piece dark meat bucket with potato wedges, coleslaw, 4 sauces, and a pot pie. Received the pot pie and coleslaw, 8 piece random (definitely had been sitting in the warming oven for a while so a bit dry), no potatoes, no sauces. Didn't check when I the kid handed it to me. To say this location is a disaster is an understatement. I have seen countries hit by a Tsunami who have offered better service and quality of food than this location. I agree with several other reviews that the General Manager of this location does not give a **** and KFC should fire them immediately and put someone in that cares about the location and its staff. I walked in at 7pm at night which is typically a good time to hit a food place on Center street as the dinner rush should have settled down. I waited 15 minutes to place an order (we were hungry and the kids wanted KFC). While waiting to place my order a lady walks in asking if anyone is working the drive thru as she was sitting there for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged her. We waited 65 minutes to receive an 8-piece meal. There were 7 other orders in front of us some of which were KFC employees who got preferential treatment when they ordered after some of us. Not one staff member came to the front to inform us of why it was taking so long or even to apologize for the wait. Staff was replacing food items in the wells and after removing plastic wrap would just throw it on the floor instead of the can. There was a lot of original recipe sitting in the warmer, but apparently everyone ordered extra crispy. there was two staff who appears to be working their butt off, but the front staff stood around at times until they were told to help out. Several orders were missing items when the customer's number was called. We all checked our bags and each time at least 2 items were missing even after the looked at the monitor several times and checked the bag. This location just doesn't care and it's sad because this KFC used to have lines onto Center street because you could order and be back on the road in under 5 minutes. Now the staff doesn't care, the GM obviously doesn't care and when I offered feedback through their corporate site, I was offered a $5 coupon and a one sentence standard apology. Really KFC? Do you care that little about your customers that you give them a coupon that has a 30 days expiration date and not even enough for the series of complaints I offered with detail info that could be verified on camera? Last time I will ever step foot into a KFC. EVER. read more

Every time we order here they either charge us more than the current deal prices or leave out paid for items like biscuits and gravy slaw etc, all without them taking any responsibility being flippant about the issue. If I pay for it I should get it period if they don't have it or don't want to bother putting it in my order than they shouldn't take my money. Worst KFC experience of my life. First the leg, wing, and thigh were the smallest I have ever seen. Could not believe all three were micro. Then there were feathers on the wing! Battered into the part you eat not just the tip you don't. I asked for all white 3 piece dinner. They only had one wing left at 12:15 pm. 15 minute wait for white. I hadn't been to this KFC in years and I won't be back. Service was appalling - customers had to ask for utensils, for crying out loud - and, although it was mid afternoon and business was slow, I waited a ridiculous amount of time. After I was served, another customer had to shout before anyone came to take her order. Worst of all, the place is just plain dirty. Many many years ago KFC was good way back when that had real mashed potatoes and the chicken was cooked properly. Grease was changed on a regular basis, not like now. They want so long when you walk inside you can smell over used greased. The chicken looks and taste like it has been sitting all day or more, it is under cooked, batter is not cooked properly. My family and I went here one day after an appointment. Hadn't been in years. Service workers were incredibly slow and loud about their own personal lives. When we got our food, half the order was missing. Sauces, salt and pepper are all on their side of the counter so you need to ask for some and then its usually like one. Then sitting down just got worse, the interior was disgusting. None of the tables or chairs clean but nobody in them. The only thing that hasn't changed was the coleslaw and gravy. I ordered from this KFC on doordash. I ate some fries and I took a bite out of one and it tasted EXTREMELY rotten??? I was so confused I took a bite out of another and again, tasted ROTTEN and couldnt get the aftertaste out of my mouth of rotten food. Don't eat at KFC on Center Street in Auburn!! Unless you want to come down with a bad case of food poisoning! My son and I ate there tonight in the dining room, which had no lights on. First off there's absolutely no friendly greeting. Seemed like we waited forever for our order as there was NOBODY really in charge and nobody really knew what they were doing. Employees were just hanging around in the kitchen talking and swearing, YES, swearing!! I went to fill my cup and NO ICE! Tables were dirty. An employee sneezed really loudly in the kitchen (with all that food sitting around!). Restrooms were dirty. My son and I were eating and an employee comes out into the dining room and starts talking on his cell phone loud enough so we could hear his conversation. It's a shame this place is this bad!
