    Dried up cold pot pie.

FOOD POISONING IN A BOWL! Mixed reviews - because I have eaten a good pot pie here once before - but I'm giving this KFC 1 star only because I have to. I do love KFC's pot pies. It's by FAR the best thing on the menu! I'd not been feeling well, so I thought a pot pie would be good "comfort" food. We went quite a ways out of the way to go by this KFC and get one. They said we were in luck they had one left... Well, I think they must've dug it out of the trash! I only wish I was exaggerating! The first thing you do with their pot pie is take a piece of the flaky crust and pop it in your mouth. It was flaky and COLD. I peeled back the rest of the crust and saw about an inch of congealed filling with a dried brown film on top. This pot pie NEVER had a full bowl of filling, based on the clean sides. And what filling it did have had dried. There was no gravy. This bowl of food poisoning was cold. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go back in traffic to deal with this debacle right then there. I'm wondering if I should call the health department...This screwup was pretty massive because it would've made anyone sick who was stupid enough to eat it I'm sure. I guess if they're going to sell something that would make me extra sick (I already have chemo to help me feel sick) I'm glad they made it obvious, so I wasn't tempted to eat it!

Ordered the 2 piece extra crispy Aaand this is what i got Don't even have it in me to go back to ask for a new order

    Big burger

Delicious and flavorfull think of KFC new coming to New intervmakes you want a bigger better burger The giant burger and the colossal Burger only tried a example if they add to menu I would definitely go and eat there best of both worlds burger and chicken

We waited a long time to get our food as a huge number of people started crowding the restaurant. It was so busy that I had to wait several minutes to get utensils because they didn't put any in our bag and their outside utensil compartments were empty. Plus, all of the tables were dirty. To top it off, I found organ in my chicken! I don't think I can go to a KFC again after this experience.

PRO TIP: If you're ordering for take-out, call the restaurant directly to place your order! When I…read morewent to go pick up my order, the cashier was graciously enough to inform me that their website is powered through DoorDash so if you order online, all the prices are unfortunately higher than their menu...so unfortunate to hear :( As for the food, I ordered the 3 Piece White Meat Chicken Plate, which came with 2 chicken breasts and 1 wing (they surprisingly give the full wing), and it comes with toast, baked beans, and cole slaw be default. You can exchange the default sides for some other options for a little extra charge. It was wonderful to see how generous the portion sizes were, including the sides! The chicken was perfectly friend and breaded in my opinion while keeping the white meat tender -- it was still like that even after I put the leftovers in the air fryer the next day. The baked beans were very flavorful and the sweetness complimented the savory chicken well. The cheer on top moment was the fact that the chicken was seasoned with a spicy seasoning so there was a bit of a subtle spicy aftertaste in each bite! I'll definitely be back again! :)

On our way to Dallas two Fridays ago, my cousin and I were craving Southern fried chicken. I was…read morereminiscing about some memorable fried chicken I had in Tennessee, so we decided to stop in Austin and finally see what makes Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken so "world famous." We started with the fried green tomatoes. They didn't quite beat the unforgettable ones from The Front Porch Cafe at Dollywood, but they were still tasty and we happily finished them. I ordered the 2-piece dark meat while my cousin got the 2-piece white meat, both with baked beans, slaw, and white bread. The baked beans and slaw were both satisfyingly delicious. When my plate arrived with a thigh and two legs, I thought I had ordered wrong! Our wonderful server, Kamber, explained that the legs were especially small that day, so they have to serve two instead. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and delicious, and I loved learning they use peanut oil. The fresh, natural quality definitely came through. And placing the white bread underneath the chicken? Brilliant--it soaks up the extra oil! Service was fast, friendly, and efficient even though it was a busy Friday lunch hour. Amber was great about answering our questions and regularly checked up on us. She even introduced us to their homemade Chess pie--a classic rich southern custard dessert pie--which we were too full to try this time, next time for sure. We'll be back, especially since there's another location in San Antonio. Next visit, I'm coming hungry for the fried okra, mac & cheese, and seasoned fries! Just wish they also have corn on the cob and corn bread as other sides options. Southern fried chicken craving: officially satisfied.

Everything I've had is great, from the bone in fried chicken with the jalapeños and the cornbread, to the fried okra and pickles. I also really enjoy the tenders with the sauce, and the chicken salad. The vibe and the staff are always great as well. It's worth it to take a peek at the chalkboard for the specials, sometimes there's an interesting and yummy dish to try that may not always be available.

Service was nice and good timing on everything. But whoever is over the food is dropping the ball. We ordered quite a few things. The chicken and chips were our favorite but the chicken was tough and definitely dried out. The fried pickles were very very very salty. Couldn't eat them. I order the grilled chicken and couldn't eat it either. It had a very bad burnt taste to it. You could smell it. I'm not sure how they didn't. The collard greens were over seasoned as well. Best thing on the plate that was edible was the mashed potato's. Finished those. I didn't bother trying to reorder anything due to being over trying anything here.
