We stopped by KFC after a long afternoon of club errands Sayori wanted to check out the seasonal milkshake, Natsuki was craving something "actually filling," and Yuri... well, Yuri just wanted to observe. She's not in the photo, obviously. She took it. Said she liked the lighting and wanted to "capture the moment." I didn't even realize she was snapping it until I saw the picture later me mid-bite, eyes wide, caught completely off guard. Thanks, Yuri. Sayori dove into her burger like it was a love poem in sandwich form. Natsuki ordered the biggest sandwich on the menu and immediately started dissecting it like she was judging a baking contest. I had a classic chicken sandwich and a drink simple, nostalgic, and surprisingly grounding. On the tray, we had one piece of fried chicken we all agreed to share. Sayori named it "Sir Crispington." He didn't last long. Yuri, quietly off to the side, had a small box of popcorn chicken and a biscuit with honey. She didn't say much, just smiled softly and listened while we talked about everything and nothing. She sipped her sweet tea slowly, like she was savoring the quiet between our laughter. I think she liked it more than she let on. The restaurant was relatively clean, the service was fast just good food, good friends, and one very sneaky photographer. Would I come back? Definitely. But next time, I'm watching Yuri more closely. She's got a talent for catching people in their most honest moments. read more

Incredibly short and rude elderly lady at the front, couldn't understand my simple order and needed help and had apparently worked for 15 years of service. I only got one sauce packet for a 5 piece meal, the front was missing lids and was generally unclean. Absolutely terrible service, and I heard them talking about my order and me under their breath as I walked away. I will never return. Terrible service, management should be ashamed. read more

The Diablo promo meal with nuggets were a sad joke. The nuggets were nothing more than a few scraps of dough fried up with little to no chicken in them and smaller than a quarter. The sandwich only had "Diablo sauce" spread on one side of the bun along with mayo and pickles. Really disappointing. Kentucky Fried Chicken Georgetown is the best. I am at a wedding at Posh Affairs in Georgetown, KY and the caterer did not show up. In a pinch, KFC in Georgetown helped out and was able to provide everything for Ashley and Lance's wedding. They stopped everything to get us meal's and sides for all here. Hot and fresh. Even the other customers stepped aside for us to get meals for everyone. Makes me tear up just thinking about it. Love everyone read more

You cannot depend on this KFC to offer chicken that is plump, juicy, and not dry & stringy. . There are instances when I have detected a "used too many times oil" taste to it as well. You shouldn't have to ask them in the drive thru whether or not their chicken is fresh or not. Wish we had a Lee's Famous Recipe in Georgetown or better yet a Kenny Rogers Roasters. read more

after being told it would be a 6 minute wait for a three piece strips and two mashed potatoes, i agreed. after waiting 25 minutes i went inside. They told me the lobby was closed, their cook walked out, and they were cleaning for a corporate visit the next day. I decided that any place being ran like this, scrambling to clean before inspection, I probably didn't want food from anyway. Service is getting pathetic lately. Too bad. Racist cashier. Husband asked for legs and thighs and the cashier said he would check and see if there was any left, mind you it's only 6pm. The lady who ordered after my husband (white lady) asked for the same thing then the cashier said oh you're in luck we have enough for you. Can't go wrong with the $20 fillup. It was an easy choice when looking at the menu. When I asked to substitute the coleslaw for corn I was told it wasn't an issue then they ended up not switching it. Socarefully check your orders as you make them. Toyota rush hour is not a great time to go through the drive thru. read more

I arrived to pick up my online order at the time it said it would be ready only to find they hadn't even started making it. guy behind the counter asked the drive through girl to make our drinks. she rudely says they won't have ice without even asking me if that is okay. proceeds to hand me my drinks in which I asked if I could use the lobby machine and add ice. I asked her to dump some out so I can add ice since she filled them to the rim. she proceeded to leave about an inch of soda in the cups and just places the cups on the counter (her side) and walks away. got home only to find that they didn't include the fries for one of the orders and the mac and cheese bowls we ordered weren't even half way full. food was okay but customer service is absolutely horrendous. most of their employees were sitting in the office doing nothing. Definitely will not be going back. I'll stick with Canes or Bojangles from now on. read more

So so bad on so many levels... went in on a Saturday around 5 and got the buffet. Food was definitely not fresh. Peas and carrots floating in a greasy liquid and the peas on top looked dehydrated (should have taken a picture), chicken and dumplings (I think) with a thick film over the top, biscuits hard as rocks. The mashed potatoes were hot and pretty good. 95% of the tables were filthy. The floor was filthy everywhere and sticking to your shoes. I wiped down the disgusting high chair with about 10 wipes before I put my toddler in there, but still tried as hard as possible not to let her touch it with her hands, as it remained so gross. The poor cashier was doing his best, taking orders and handing them out. He was very polite despite being absolutely harassed by the woman I think was the manager for not getting my order himself, because it was just two biscuits. I also heard her say, plain as day, "this is the most senseless order in the entire world." And was clearly flustered. Sorry that I am allergic to chicken and wanted biscuits? Went in for an 8-piece chicken bucket. From the start the order wasn't right. We were told there would be an approximate 6 minute wait for fresh crispy chicken. Had the buffet here tonight. The chicken was very dry. They were out of several items on the buffet, and they needed to be told about each one that needed to be refilled. Ordered an 8 piece family meal. Chicken was dry, hard and way too salty. Dark brown in color. Breading was all fused together and shattered when you picked the piece up. I have gotten much better chicken from Wal-Mart's deli. I am not exaggerating. If I would have seen it before I left, I would not have accepted it. I can't believe that anyone with any restaurant experience would have not been able to tell by the appearance alone that it was not fit to sell. I purchased the $20 fill up this past Thursday. It was with the 12 chicken strips. The chicken was extra salty however the potatoes, gravy and green beans were all way over salted. It was so bad the food had to all be thrown away. We called the store and all they offered us was to return the bad food and get more food. It was late and I didn't have time to drive from another county back to Georgetown to get more food as I was afraid the new food would taste just as bad as what we already had. We asked for our money back and that was not an option. I would not recommend this KFC. The last time we ate at their buffet it was horrible. They didn't keep their buffet full and the restaurant was a mess with trash cans over flowing, drink station a total mess, etc. read more

Stopped here for lunch. The buffet had chicken fixed 4 different ways. The Kfc's I'm accustomed to don't offer that. I'm used to 2 or maybe 3 ways. The place didn't have any tables that had been wiped although there was almost half empty. I did see a girl wiping some as we were leaving. My biggest complaint is that the buffet wasn't kept stocked. There was empty containers in the buffet when we got there and we had to tell them what was missing. They would bring out a little at a time even though it was during lunch time with several customers in the restaurant. When something else ran out, we had to tell them.
