We've been to this location twice for one reason and one reason only: Chicken Pot Pie. Whenever we're craving for KFC's Chicken Pot Pie, we come here to buy some to go. Recently, we came in a weekday afternoon for some Chicken Pot Pie. The person at the register had a pleasant attitude as he fulfilled our order. So what's inside this Chicken Pot Pie? Chicken bites, diced potatoes, carrots, and peas mixed in a creamy, flavorful sauce and baked in a mini, flaky pie crust. The sauce itself contained a lot of seasoning, thus giving off it's rich taste. This made the chicken, potatoes, and vegetables taste great. The pie crust itself was flaky, but placing those chopped pieces into the sauce made that quite tasty. How's that for a hearty lunch? This was definitely filling. I'll never buy the frozen ones in my local supermarket anymore since this was packed with a lot of flavor. But this obviously isn't good to eat everyday due to the exorbitant sodium content. They do have a small parking area available with a drive thru. A large dining area was available inside. When we came, we noticed that the area was completely empty. Well, at least that area appeared to be clean. I take away one star because I've noticed that towards the exit of the parking lot, there is a drainer. But around that drainer is a steep crater. They should probably patch up that crater as that's a driving hazard. Yikes! But regardless of that, we'll still be back on a once-per-month basis.

Pathetic . Chicken buckets get smaller in size and the chicken thighs get even smaller . Should just call them wings . I remember chicken when it was big.

    Chicken nachos

The chicken nachos are the best - highly recommend. The outside bar is fun too. Parking can be a slight challenge, but its worth it.

It was my first time doing karaoke and I honestly don't know that I would do it again. We booked a karaoke room for an hour for 6 people on a Thursday evening, and while the singing was fun, the service was below subpar. When we arrived, we did not have a full menu available to us in the room, so it took a few mins to get our order in. Our server kept close tabs of every minute in karaoke, but not the food. It took over 60 minutes to get our wings! Apparently there was some sort of mix up in the kitchen & while we were understanding, what threw us for a loop was that even though our wings were DELAYED, our server was hesitant to offer complimentary time in our karaoke room while we waited. Right at the 60-minute mark, he was quick to offer two options - our wings to go or a table in the dining room. In the end, we had to negotiate an extra hour in the karaoke room since our food took SO long to come out. When paying the check, we were surprised to see a charge for food we never ever received! I'm super disappointed that they tried to take advantage of us, when we were very understanding of their mix up. In my opinion, servers could use a lesson or two in customer service. Never in my time in hospitality, have I ever behaved in the way they did.

I dared to try the cauliflower wings (half & half), which actually wasn't bad. Both flavors was good, although I personally like the spicy better (just make sure you can handle it, although it won't be too bad if you're used to spicy food). Garlic fried rice was okay, but not the best. Also seems like they don't give you a side of pickled radish at this point, but maybe that's because we're in Jersey. Also the kimchi fries weren't what I expected. What the fries were crispy and tasty, they just give you a tiny cup of kimchi cheese sauce. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I expected the fries to be way more loaded. I ordered for pickup and it did take a lot longer than expected. I also felt sorry for the hostess, who was running around trying to help. There also was 5 people just standing around chatting, but the music was just a tad too loud to hear anyone trying to get their attention. I'm sure dining in would be a chill vibe, but can still have that and have it all together yk? Last thing is I definitely asked for bacon mustard sauce and heard them confirm over the phone, a bit annoyed they forgot that!

Like many businesses on this block the restaurant is relatively long but a bit narrow (compared to an eatery like the nearby Vicki's Diner). To the left is the counter and kitchen area. To the right is a row of seating and there's more seating towards the back. The rest rooms are all the way in the back. The walls feature beautiful paintings including celebrities like Dolly Parton. It is a very bright and welcoming. Street parking is almost always packed. I would recommend parking at the nearby Municipal Parking instead (basically behind the restaurant). Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken features a fairly simple menu, focusing on chicken wings, wraps and salads. I have tried examples of all three and they were all fantastic. Their wings are perfectly crispy on the outside but not dried out on the inside. Their various flavors deliver as advertised (and to my taste, none are particularly spicy). Their wraps are gigantic. I can't imagine still being hungry after eating one (if that's your entire meal). If you have it with something else, be prepared for leftovers. Finally, there are their salads which I often get with grilled chicken. The chicken is always cooked perfectly. Most, flavorful and cooked through. The salads also come in containers the size of your head. I've never ordered a salad here and not taken some home. It's awesome. The staff at Broadway Hot & Honey Chicken is always friendly and open to answering questions about their menu. Food also comes out very quickly, so no issues with service. I really enjoy my visits here and will definitely go back soon!

Back in NYC, Golden Krust is usually the go to spot for patties, but this location has completely changed my perspective because the full menu is worth exploring. Every time I've ordered, the food has been fresh, flavorful and consistently good. Whether it's the curry dishes, jerk chicken, oxtail, soups, porridge, or their variety of patties, from beef to vegetable, everything has been satisfying. They also stock Caribbean favorites in the fridge, like carrot juice, which is the perfect addition to the meal. One thing that genuinely surprised me was the customer service. I wasn't expecting much the first time I walked in, but every visit has been pleasant. The staff is friendly, my orders are accurate, and the service is consistently good. And, if you know Caribbean take out restaurants, you know the joke: most times the best food comes with the roughest customer service. Thankfully, that's not the case here. The warm service actually matches the quality of food, and that's one of the reasons I keep coming back. To top it off, parking is available, and there's even a drive thru, which makes grabbing a quick meal even more convenient. If you've been searching for solid Caribbean takeout, this location is definitely worth a visit.

I ordered the spinach patty along with cocoa bread and a saltfish fritter. The fritter was decent -- nothing particularly standout, but solid enough to enjoy. The spinach patty, on the other hand, remains a reliable choice. Flavorful and well-seasoned as usual, though the crust was a bit on the harder side this time. Golden Krust is definitely at its best when you catch the patties fresh out of the oven; that's when the texture really shines. The cocoa bread did its job -- soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for balancing the savory bites. Service was friendly and efficient, the restaurant was clean, and the turnaround time for food was quick, which is exactly what you hope for in a grab-and-go stop. Overall, no complaints. It's not a gourmet experience, but it's consistent, convenient, and hits the spot when you're craving a quick Caribbean snack.
