This is not about food. This is about how this particular store treats its employees. It is 113 degrees outside and you have all of your employees working in this place, with hot cookers and appliances and NO AIR CONDITIONING. It is hotter inside than outside. The customers are suffering as well. The kids working here are sweating through their clothes and look exhausted from the heat. The owner should be ashamed. Thursday, June 13, I was a passenger with my friend who attempted to place a drive thru order. The guy on the other end was very unwelcoming, rude, and sounded as if he hated his job at KFC. My friend asked him a question about her order than the guy on the other end didn't hear her than called her a "dumb bitch!" We heard it through the microphone. We drove to the front to speak to a manager, who of course was not available. I have never experienced such distasteful service. The in lieu manager was unapologetic and referred us to voice our concerns via a survey. ARE YOU KIDDING! We got a meal special, it was good. I thought I was ordering through their website but it was through Yelp itself. It was easy to order and pay but I didn't get notified when my food Was ready to be picked up. I have them plenty of time so my food was ready when I picked it up. Bought the 20$ fill-up, asked if I could change the cole slaw for another mashed potato. "We aren't allowed to change sides on a promotion" Why not? What's your manager gonna do? Write you up? Do they COUNT the individual sides you sell? No. You scoop that side into a container and shove it out the window. Nobody cares. It doesn't affect your business at all. In fact by not allowing your customers to CUSTOMIZE their order, all you're doing is hurting your business. I don't care if you can't change it in the POS. It doesn't kill you to go tell your associate to switch a side. If you didn't change my side because of THAT? That just means you're fucking lazy. It's bad enough that your customer service is garbage at this location. Every associate in the drive-thru is in SUCH A RUSH to get me out of their hair, and you can hear it in the intercom. Even if there's literally NO OTHER CUSTOMERS. I mean come on, they can't even fill up their Famous Bowl all the way. It's always half full. And now they got "6$ fill ups" instead of 5$ where they charge you an extra dollar for a side you don't want. Of course, you can't take that off either. Don't act like that menu option for a 5$ fill up isn't still there, or that you can't just delete it off the meal. I know KFC doesn't update their POS systems regularly. No food place does. To top it all off, just about every single one of the females has fake nails and nail polish on. That's a health code violation, straight up. This store doesn't care about your experience. Just buy their chicken and get out of their way! Don't you DARE inconvenience them with your inane requests! I would normally let all these things slide, since I really like KFC's food. But man, when you pile all of these inconveniences on? It is painfully apparent that they do not care, and just want you out of their store. And don't get me wrong, I've been in the position these associates are in. I worked at the Harbison Drive location before it was Chick-Fil-A, I've managed other fast food stores as well, so I GET IT. Out of all the KFC this one is the worst of them all. It is always something going on with them, either their missing something, did not order enough of something, and now they close their lobby early. Signs says they closed at 9pm, but the doors were locked by 8:30pm. This KFC sucks!!! I wish there was a better one close by or change of management/owner for this location. At least there is popeyes! They are at least a little more constant with their lobby hours, drive through, and with their food. read more

We ordered a 12 piece chicken with 6 biscuits and 3 sides. We had all the sides, but missing 2 biscuits and 4 prices of chicken. We returned to the store and explained it to the employee. She said she knows she only gave us 4 biscuits and refused to give us the rest of the order we paid for. We ended up getting a refund after the employee called us liars and acted like a full grown child. So immature and incompetent.... Same can probably be said about management having hired these rude ass people. We are informing corporate about it and spreading the word to no longer do business at the worst KFC. Chicken was tender & juicy & cooked properly. I ordered the 2-piece meal. When it arrived, there were 2 drumsticks rather than a thigh & drumstick so I told the lady at the counter. She gave me the thigh without charging me extra. The only negative comment is that the table next to me was dirty. 2 or 3 times a quarter we get dinner from the KFC on Alamo Drive over the last 10 months the quality of the food has been consistently very poor ranging from cold and greasy to dry and burnt. After last nights purchase I'm not sure that I will continue purchasing dinner form the Vacaville Alamo drive KFC. The tenders were greasy and dry as if they had been double dipped in the fryer, the chicken pieces were cold and overcooked to the point of being burnt, the gravy cold and watered down so much that it was almost a clear color, the biscuits were dry, hard and a few were moldy. The only decent part of the meal was the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Apparently, the standards of KFC have lowered quite a bit. The sad part is this KFC used to be really descent. I would strongly recommend against making any purchases at this location. read more

Another disappointment by coming to this sorry establishment. I paid over five bucks for three chicken wings and one biscuit. I remember way back in the day you could get what was called a wingding with four pieces a much larger wings a biscuit and a side for much cheaper. The cashier was okay and she was very patient but once I pulled away from the window and began to eat the chicken I noticed not only were the wings kind of small but they were overcooked as if they had been sitting under the heat lamp all day. The meat was tough the skin was chewy and greasy most of the wing was unedible. Basically a nasty box of chicken wings for a price that I could have bought a whole organic chicken for. What's just as scary as I had to ask for some butter and honey for the biscuit which seems to be the norm here. Why would you give anybody a biscuit without throwing in some butter and by the way that's not butter that's something else nowadays even the honey Isn't honey is something else mixed with honey maybe. She messed up our order twice and at the window I asked her to repeat my order and clearly she messed up once more... My daughter has to buy this specific chicken for her special needs son, as this is all he will eat. She was very frustrated today as I was on the phone with her while she once again visited this drive through. She continuously complains of rude staff and bad service. She tells me that the employees are constantly rude and her order is never filled correctly. She says a simple "thank you" back and "have a good day," would go a very long way for customers. Much improved in the last year. I have been eating lunch here for about 4 years. I used to be frustrated on every visit for the chaos and wait time. Sunday November 3rd we stopped in at the newly remodeled KFC on Alamo along with what seemed like at least half the population of Vacaville. Our order was placed at 4:35pm. At 5:30pm we asked if our order would be ready soon. As did all the people before us. The lady slapped a box of wings down and said this was all that was getting cooked. My husband declined it as that was not our order. He finally asked for a manager and then asked for a refund. He promptly got one. This restaurant was just remodeled and thought it was new and improved. Not so much. Worse service ever. Won't be going back there, too many other places to eat. read more

I was just ordering food at the drive thru 05/02/2018 @7:20 and the girl that was taking my order did not have patience, did not explain to me about the sides or anything i asked, she was acting as if i was speaking a different language. She cut me off and gave me ny total and when i asked to change one of the sides she gave me attitude and asked for my whole meal back, still with lots of attitude. without even trying to explain or let me know why so i said forget it and left.
