They are all right about not getting your order right, even when the person filling the order stood right next to the girl taking my order. Ok, I got past that. Now the chicken...all I can say is they have lost the Colonels original recipe and it was some of the worst tasting bird I've ever let pass my lips. Wow I went to this KFC today for the first time in so long. Actually I have not been to any KFC in so long. Jut seems like they went down hill in quality and service. Popeyes is way better. But 2 reasons brought me here 1- I am broke and 2- Its Monday and they have the $2.99 deals. The Monday deal is a two piece and you get a leg/thigh. You also get small mashed potatoes and gravy,corn cob and biscuit. And you can add a drink for $1. I got the extra crispy. Not bad. Most of it was pretty crispy. Some parts a little soggy. The thigh was surprisingly pretty meaty. Potatoes and gravy were bland as usual. Corn standard. Needed butter and salt/pepper. Biscuit seemed fresh. Not bad for the price. The chicken wasn't rubbery like I remember. The lady at the register was really nice. FYI - there is no substitutions on the meal. We asked for coleslaw instead of potatoes and before the cashier could ask the KFC police already shouted no from the back. I wouldn't make a special trip for this place and it would not be my first choice for a meal but if I'm broke and need a cheap lunch I would consider it again. read more

My sister and i came here for some chicken and the cashier Machellew (Michelle) was so rude. I get to the window and when I ask for a cup holder the girl at the window rolled her eyes and flipped her hair before taking the three steps to get a cup holder. Then after that she didn't say another word to me. Not a "you're welcome" or "thank you" or "have a good night" even after I said it to her. In my opinion that would have been bad enough to warrant a negative review. You don't have to have a whole conversation with me but be polite. Then the frosting on this cake was they forgot half my order. I didn't realize till I got home, as I wasn't trying to spend anymore unnecessary time around the rude cashier. Just went to KFC after working a double and got $40 worth of food. Asked for spicy famous bowl got regular chicken that was old food it was cold and not to mention the customer service, got our drinks with no straws the lady that handed the food out was talking to the next car when we were trying to talk to her then all the cookies are missing. I don't know why it takes so long to get your food after ordering. I even tried ordering online assuming that the order would be ready when I arrive but it still takes an average of 25 minutes. Customer service could also use some improvement. I had a their online representative trying to talk me out of canceling an order. Why? So I can wait another 20 minutes? Believe it or not! My favorite fast food is KFC and I have had a lot of KFC and unfortunately this is the worst I ever been to in all of the KFC I have frequent. The service is not only questionable but the chicken is always cooked not quite right. ie dried as if it been out warming to long or just recooked to sale or just to damn old with blood soaked bones. Just totally unbelievable and should be closed down!!! While the food was pretty standard for KFC there were two things that ensured I will never ever return to this restaurant. The first of which was that they did not have enough chicken made for me to order a simple meal with a few pieces of chicken, so I had to wait 15 minutes for my food to be made. I could understand if they were incredibly busy but I was the only one in the restaurant and the employees were literally all sitting around, so I have no idea how they could not have chicken made. Secondly, while I was waiting for my food to be made, you could clearly hear and see several employees in the back horsing around and cussing up a storm at each other. So I order two meals to go in the drive thru, get home and bite into my chicken wing...and the SMELL of OLD , SPOILED past expiration hit me!!!! I am gagging uncontrollably and PISSED. The only reason this got a 1-star rating is because there's not a place for zero! Disgusting dirty place! The trash looks like it hasn't been emptied all day long! The fountain was a mess with empty straw wrappers all over, floor was dirty sticky and disgusting! Been coming here once in awhile for over 25 years and it's still is never clean in the evening! They got their food and left while we sat and wondered if we will get ours after about 15 minute-wait. Finally, my husband got up to the counter and asked "Are we gonna get our food or not?!" Every once in awhile, my hubby wants KFC. We went tonight & ordered an 8 pc. bucket meal + a 6 pc. chicken strips meal. We were told they are currently out of strips, and asked if we would wait 5 min.while they make some We said OK. I was given 2 free drinks by our server/cashier, Justin, for having to wait on the strips. (which was a nice gesture). When our to-go order was ready, a young girl bagged our order & asked if there was anything else we needed. I asked for ranch dressing for the strips. In the car, I asked my husband to check the order. he only checked the 8 pc bucket to make sure it was 1/2 regular & 1/2 crispy, as requested. It was, so we left. I told him he should've checked the strips order, but he didn't. We live about 10 minutes away by car. We get home, get ready to eat, and find out they gave us a 3 piece order of strips! We paid $10.29 for 6 pc chicken strips dinner!!! Why is it every time we come ( and when my daughter comes here too) they are ALWAYS out of something, or give the wrong order? Why is it so hard to keep food on hand & ready for customers, and why is it even harder to get the order straight? Aren't you reading the board when you bag an order? Can you count? ((I also realized the "2" free drinks may have been only "1" free drink, because my 6 pc. strips probably also came with a drink!!)). I tried to call 2x to let them know they shorted us on strips, but no one answers. If it wasn't a 10 minute drive each way, I would've returned right away. So I asked if they had a 20 piece hot wings meal? The guy in the drive thru said yes it is an additional $6.00 to the price of the chicken only. Um yeah NO....he charged me for the chicken the price of 2 large sides and 4 biscuits. Here's the thing it is OK not to have a meal deal, and it is OK to tell someone no you just need to order it all individually but to indicate otherwise is wrong. By the way the cost of 2 large sides and 4 biscuits is not $6.00 more it is $8.57 more and had I been told no I would have gone with just the chicken and one side, so kudos to the drive thru guy into tricking me into spending more money and ordering food I did not need, but it doesn't leave a customer very satisfied I can tell you that. I went here last Wednesday and purchased the 2 piece boneless meal. This was my second trip in 2 months. I was soooooo disappointed. The first time I went I ordered the grilled chicken and it was DRY and bland. On Wednesday, the chicken was soooo overcooked, and dry. I had the same thing in Fairfield in June and it was perfectly cooked. I don't know what is up in Vacaville. The employees were very nice. They are just putting out a bad product. I keep going back here because it is the only KFC in Vacaville, and it bites me in the butt almost every time. The last time I went there they did not add the biscuit to the $5 fill up nor the biscuit that I paid extra for to order. Luckily we noticed this in the parking lot and J ran back inside and got the biscuits. This was about a week or two ago. Last night I went by myself exhausted on the way home from work. I quickly checked the order in the parking lot, but when I got home the biscuits were not there. I also had ordered a pot pie plus mac and cheese, and while they put in butter and honey for the nonexistent biscuits, they did not bother to put any utensils to eat with. I mean, I have silverware at home and all, but isn't part of the point of being lazy and getting fast food after work so you don't have to wash dishes? I was way too tired to drive all the way back to KFC to get the biscuits, and I wanted to call and complain since it KEEPS HAPPENING, but what is the point? The counter service was great tonight, they get the star. I had my three grandchildren with me and at the counter I asked each what they wanted. It was unanimous for legs (surprise). I ordered the 10 piece legs and thighs meal. The clerk asked if we wanted more legs, less thighs, etc. I said no, good like it is. We got home and found two legs and eight thighs. Three children, two legs - thanks for that . The chicken was soggy and the leg issue just ticks me off. If anyone had asked us we would have come up with another option. As I grew up a mere 2 blocks away from this establishment, I have had the dubious honor to purchase poultry-inspired meals from them on many occasions over the years. Every time I go, I keep thinking that perhaps the management/staffing/pure circumstance may have changed since my last visit.. and every time I am left with the same bitter taste in my mouth (an no, not from rancid coleslaw). This place is, far-and-away, consistently the WORST KFC, nay Fast-Food, experience I have ever had. 50% of the time, they are out of something I want, either entree or side. Twice, they have been ENTIRELY OUT of chicken breasts... their mashed potatoes and gravy may be okay, but people go here for Chicken! I can always expect extremely slow service here, and they never fail to deliver (dine-in and drive-thru)! I once sat in line in the drive in for (no joke- I timed it!) 21 minutes!!!!! Ugggh... I decided to try the one on Alamo and it was not only the best experience I had but I don't think you can Name the wonderful service me and my husband received! I havent been to KFC in a really long time. I always went to the one by Ross and loved it. I was on this side of town with my grandma and we wanted to grab something to take home. (we live in dixon) When we pull up to the drive thru we were greeted rudely like she was in a rush. We were the only ones in the drive thru! The worker argued with me about spliting the order because I was ordering for myself and then my grandma had a separate order. She wouldnt let us separate the orders and rudely suggested we go inside if we want to order separately. We just left. If my grandma wanted to get out of the car we wouldnt have gone thru the drive thru. I also didnt want to go in because I was done dealing with the bad customer service. read more

We had a large order and after every item she would cut me off and start giving a total. We ended up not ordering everything we wanted. When we got to the window she was so busy on her cell phone she was far from friendly. She didn't say a word when handing us the bag, not even thank you or have a good night.
