It's ok. I mean, the selection is basic (no eggs, seriously?) for the types of food you can make and the menu is missing some things (i.e., that there is an all you can eat option). We did the all you can eat and the guy kept asking "is this your last bowl"... starting on our second (and we didnt pile them overflowing). They also limit the meat allowed in each, serving it themselves. Some of the sauces had random food in it so it wasnt super clean. But food was good. read more

We love Khan's! It's the best Mongolian grill we've ever had! Many other places we've visited had frozen meat and vegetables! Khan's has fresh food (not frozen) and you can definitely taste the difference! They also have many different sauces to add to your meal! Also, you can take it to-go if you need, which a lot of other places don't let you! Not only is the food great, the staff is too! They are so friendly and Khan always has a smile! If you're looking for a fairly healthy place to eat, this is a must try. Stumbled across this by accident (I was shopping at the trader Joe's next door) but was pleasantly surprised at my husbands lunch choice! Since I had an extremely high carb day yesterday (cupcakes, paninis, other vacation yummies, lol), I was keeping today a lower carb day. This place was perfect because you don't have to add the noodles to your bowl. I just had my bowl full of bok choy, bean sprouts, mushrooms, onions, and spinach. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of other veggies to choose from, but I had mine piled high already. And this is without any noodles! Then you add some sauces to your bowl! I added garlic, some Mongolian (spicy!), and a little chili sauce. I chose not to add any oils to mine and it still tasted awesome. You then choose your meat (tofu, chicken, beef, pork or fish - I chose tofu and it was delicious) and then the cook grills up everything! Fast and healthy. There's even additional sauces to add after! Like a little sauce bar (instead of a salsa bar, haha!)!! I have to say tho, since I didnt have noodles, I was still a little hungry even tho i tried to pile as much veggies as I could into the bowl. I saw people add their noodles on last so that must be the trick. I'll have to remember that for next time! Which will be soon because this place is great!! read more

This is our favorite Mongolian grill. Good food, sauce selections, reasonable price, and quality meats. And you can take home your leftovers! It's not all you can eat though. Mongolian Grill is one of my favorite places to go after a workout or when I'm wanting something light and healthy. There are a great selection of meats and vegetables to choose from and it's not bad to have the ability to have as much of whatever you want as long as it fits in the bowl. The Mongolian sauce is pretty good. It has a nice sweetness, as well as a little bit of subtle heat. The only knock on this, compared to other similar restaurants is that the others are typically all-you-can-eat and have a little bit more of a selection; however, based on what they have it's really good. This is one of the better Mongolian places in the greater Seattle area. As other reviewers mentioned, this is not a buffet. This is the type where you pick your veggies and noodles, then when you get to the front counter, you tell them what meats you'd like and they add it at the grill. You can however order double meat, or a combination of them. I usually get beef and chicken. My wife likes this place better than most of the restaurants in the area. Fine, skip the veggies and load up on a mountain of noodles. No rules, baby. I love this place, and eat here at least once a week. Here's why: Healthy: Tons of veggies to choose from. A meal here is filling and good for you. Clean: Since the veggies, noodles, and sauce are self-service, cleanliness is a must. The food zone is kept tidy, and you can watch them grill your food right in the open, so you know they're taking good care of the food. Friendly: The owner and all the staff are super nice and welcoming. Fast: Even when there's a long line, they efficiently get through the orders in no time. This used to be our favorite place to eat. However, they've recently raised their prices to $14.95 per adult. Just a couple years ago it was $9.95 per adult. That's a 50% increase over 2-3 years! Inflation is nowhere close to that high. It now costs over $60 with tax to feed my family of four. That's $70 with a modest tip for the cooks. It's too much for a restaurant where you serve yourself. We've passed this place often and always had it on our list of places to try. We're so happy to have actually gone in! For those of you not familiar with the way most Mongolian Grills work, here's the quick version. You grab a bowl (Adult or child size available). You fill it with your noodle choice, vegetable, bamboo shoots, etc... Then add your sauce combinations and then tell them what kind of meat you'd like... I choose tofu. Then you hand them the bowl, pay, and they cook your food on a huge circular grill while you watch. Sauces are available at the sauce bar after you get your food... If you get take out like we did, you put the sauce in to go containers and leave. It's clean! The staff were wiping down the surfaces behind just about each customer as a sauce spilled here, or a vegetable fell there. The food was fresh, tasted great and was thoroughly enjoyed! The only negative I can share about our experience is that the food was boxed so hot it warped the container, but when has hot food really been an issue? ... Next time I'll be the typical Seattleite and bring a glass container from home. I give this place a solid 5 Stars, the only thing I'd be concerned about is cross contamination for those with Celiacs. The one grill could give you issues but I'm sure they would clean it if you explained the situation. We will be back! read more

The first time I got here I was very overwhelmed by the diverse options of veggies, sauces, and noodles. I was one of those annoying customers who needed my hand held and guided through everything. Luckily for me, the owner was very accommodating and friendly. He even made me a sauce mixture that he recommended me based on my flavor preferences. They have a wide variety of fresh veggies and noodles which allows you to customize your dish. This type of versality is very valuable to me as I am trying to be more health conscious. The self serve and customisable menu also makes this place one of Burien's few vegan friendly places. We recently moved to the south end and finally found a chance to leave the house for Mongolian grill. This place was excellent! The price was very reasonable ($12 a bowl). The food was really good and everything was very fresh and clean. I really like a Mongolian grill that is not an all you can eat so you can take leftovers home - this is exactly one of those places. In fact, with COVID the just serve your food into a to go container which worked great for me. They also had a ton of options for sauces, both to put in the bowl for when they cook it and after to add to the finished dish. I haven't had the fortune to eat at this place more than perhaps once or twice since I moved to LaLa Hell in 2016. I'm psyched that they're still in business as a partially self service restaurant during COVID. I think I visited this place almost 60 times during the five years I worked in the area before being banished and the owners still recognizes me when I come in - lol. There hasn't been a single Mongolian experience that has met up with Khan's. Something about their wheat noodles, tofu and sauce choices make up the best food ever. 5 stars for the great memories, service and glorious leftovers that I never tired of eating. Terrible! The WORST Mongolian restaurant I have been to ever. I wish we went with our first thought, and drove the extra miles to Jasmine's. It was literally THAT bad. The whole experience, but we were exhausted and hungry. It was sooooooo disgusting in there. Cups had fallen into the sauces, the sauce were lukewarm and not refilled, also flavorless!!! They have the SMALLEST bowls. And you only get one pass. I think this place used to be in Southcenter? How are they even still open at this point? Veggie selection was limited and trash, noodle selection was also limited and trash. It was hard to manuver and put anything in the tiny bowls! The woman there said, "normally people fill up more." That's fine and thank you, but I'm literally making a mess because these bowls are too small and they don't let you grab more than one! They don't offer you multiple meat selections, only one. And over charge if you want shrimp. $3.50!? Insane! They give you a tiny cup of meat. Such a rip off. And I believe we got ripped off as well. That woman there argued loudly and offensively with a customer because he questioned the prices as he should've! He had EVERY right to, as the receipt is not itemized. She's distracted yelling amd screaming with him, and threatening to call the police, rather than just letting it go and tending to her disgusting restaurant. The floors were filthy!!!! After he left, she was talking smack about the guy to us, and bothering us as we were trying to eat! Then she plops down, and gets on her phone. So unprofessional, and unsanitary. We were literally so disappointed and disgusted. My husband literally had me drive over to Arby's. And the food. His was burnt. He just went ahead and ate his, which cost him later. While she was fighting with that customer, my order finally comes up, and mine is completely burnt! Actually inedible. I had to interrupt her argument and ask for fresh food! She HAD THE AUDACITY to blame me, and say it was my sauces! Lol, do you know how much sauce I put on at Jasmine's? Mixed with frozen meat? And my meals NEVER come out burnt there! It was insulting! Then she points over to their sauces and tells me to use those instead! First of all, want my sauce to FLAVOR my food, not cover it? Are you stup1d? And your sauces aren't hot! The mushroom sauce, cold! How? Spicy peanut sauce? Runny with no peanut! The rice was HARD, and barely a scoop. Like literally nothing. They could've saved it honestly. My second batch of food was OK. Blander of course, but less BURNT. I saw another gentleman after me walk away with a burnt plate. How about teaching your cooks how to cook? Maybe turn your grill down? Maybe clean your nasty restaurant? Refill and clean your sauce bar? Make sure they are HOT and safe to eat? This place was a joke. Oh! And she demanded that I give her my old plate back? Why? So disrespectful! I will never ever return here! I wouldn't even offer a homeless person a meal here! Save your time, money, and appetite? Conveniently located close to my home with plenty of parking encouraged me to try this restaurant post covid, As my wife is Asian i am searching for a place suited to lessen her taste for home. Prepare your own meal begins with several styles of noodles. There are many delicious fruits and vegetables to choose from but after filling your medium size bowl with noodles there is not much more room for them. One bowl only is requested as per sign at beginning of line, assures a feeling of a lack of value in the end. Instructions for your hot sauce and desired heat are also available but still did not seam to posses much fire. Your bowl is cooked in front of you while you wait. This is a great concept for me as I love my meals pipping hot and this method assures it. We left this restaurant with a feeling of still wanting to eat, My wife is not a big eater and generally satisfied with amounts given to her by other restaurants, I know i am bigger and a little bit more picky but 12 dollars per medium size bowl three quarters full of noodles is highly unreasonable with one trip only per guest. This place is fast and delicious. They have a wide variety of ingredients and sauces so you can mix your own stirfry. My one big tip is to add your ingredients FIRST before you top it off with any noodles. This way all your ingredients will stay in your bowl and not fall off as you add them. They have a one bowl limit so this trick helps you get more veggies in there, and more bang for your buck. After you build your bowl you can select your protein. I normally get pork and my boyfriend gets chicken. It's easy to please everybody. At the sauce bar the Mongolian sauce is highly recommended. Enjoy! read more

I love this place, I have turned my 11yo son into a veggie eater at this place. My only problems are with the shrimp. 1. They don't "clean the poop shoot out enough and I don't know about you, but I don't want to eat poop. 2. They are over cooked. I actually like my shrimp a little over cooked but still able to bite through them. Here's a bit tip to really get your money's worth!!!! They put the noodles at the front of the buffet line to make you think you have to take the noodles first, but you don't have to!! skip up to where the veggies start and pile all the veggies you want, then do you seasonings and sauces then go back and pile all of the noodles on top and you'll get two or more meals from it. read more

We really enjoy the food here. There is a way to fix your bowl and it does end up being "all you can eat" My friend is a big eater and he didn't even finish his meal. He said he would have liked more rice though, but I thought it was fine. The staff didn't seem quite as friendly as they usually are but that doesn't really matter here. The place was constantly being cleaned up (a good thing). The veggies are really fresh and plenty of them. Sauces are tasty too. Three kinds of noodles also. Holy jeeeeze this place is good! I tried this place for the first time about five years ago and it seems like every time I go back, it gets better and better. This mongolian grill isn't like others. You do not get a funny look when you super overload your bowl - it's like they expect you to :) At some places around town, you get a nasty look from workers, like "come on now, that's enough food", however at Khan's this doesn't happen. Also, the veggie selection is superior. The veggies are always fresh and plentiful. I also love that they put out more than one noodle selection for your bowl, not many places offer you the ability to have rice noodles! I absolutely love the toppings toward the end of the buffet line - the pineapple, water chesnuts, ect. They also put out 3 or 4 different oils for you to pick from to put on your noodles (chili oil, canola, sesame, ect) However, what makes this grill unique is the sauces. THEY ARE TO DIE FOR. The spicy peanut sauce is my favorite. I swear, if they sold that sauce, I'd buy a couple gallons every week. There is a selection of about 7 sauces, all of which are very good. Just to give you an idea of how good this place is - About 3 years ago I moved to central coast California. There isn't very good Asian food here, however we make due. This is definitely the place to go if you want good mongolian in the area! a great selection of meats and veggies! there are definitely a couple of things I really like about this place compared to other mongolian places! first it doesn't seem like they have the heat on their grill too high so my food doesn't burn and/or the meats not super overdone! and well...their sauces in the beggining are still a bit thin but after you pay there is a little sauce bar where you can get more sauces and they are warm and thicker in consistency! MMMMMM! One of my main issues with a lot of food is I'm picky....solution: eating at Khans. It's a great place to grab a relatively cheap lunch and get exactly what you want. You get a bowl, get to pile on the veggies, make your own sauce, and add as many noodles as you can shove onto the bowl....thank goodness they're sticky because it makes piling them high easier. And I get to pick my meat too. The staff is nice and helpful and don't laugh too much when you don't know what you're doing. They are quick to make up your food and get it out while it's still warm. Classic Mongolian Grill food... however, this place (unlike others I've been to) gives you three different noodle choices: Yakisoba, Thai or Chinese. I always go with the Yakisoba. Be sure and take the advise of other reviewers - fill your bowl first with veggies then top with the noodles. I think some of the negative reviews are a bit ridiculous. You create your own bowl of ingredients, so you can't blame the owners for the flavor. As for the ingredients, they are always very fresh and very diverse - as are the sauces. Some folks have also complained that you can't go back for seconds. This is astonishing to me, considering the amount of food you get with just one trip through the ingredient bar. I like this style of food a lot, and I love how quick it is. Pile whatever you want on your bowl, flavor it how you want, they cook it real quick right in front of you, and you're good to go. There don't seem to be a lot of Mongolian grills in the area, so I am glad I found one that has a pretty good selection of ingredients. I feel healthy when I eat here because of all the veggies I can put in my bowl. Granted, the food is pretty much fried, but still! My coworkers and I are always looking for a good lunch place that'll serve a lot of us quickly and efficiently, and I think this is it. And for less than $10 a meal, I'm definitely a fan. read more

Whats not to love about having choice? No pre-built meals at this place! They do have some friendly suggestions for dishes on the wall but your free to load your bowl up with whatever you like. I start with my veggies and once satisfied I add a bit of noodles, douse it in sauce and move down the line to choose my meat. A few minutes later your choice of goodness is handed back on a heaping plate with rice and you are off to pick your sauces from the "sauce bar" The meals are cheap here and the food is fresh and good. This is the best mongolian grill around. Their meat is FRESH and not that that horrible frozen stuff. Their veggies are always the best quality and and they're constantly cleaning the area so any spillage is quickly removed. Where Khan's really shines, though is with their sauces. They have the best sauces to spice your meal up while its being cooked and the sauces you can apply after your food is cooked are very satisfying as well. I usually get a same cup of their peanut sauce which is so good with the rice. It's really the people there that make this place so great. I go there maybe twice a month and the owner knows me by name and the cooks are so nice. I wouldn't not get to Burien as often if it wasn't for Khan's! read more

Love this place. I agree with other reviewers; the guys are so nice and friendly, the place is kept very clean, and damn is service fast. What is not to love about picking out all the fixins you want, seasoning them, and having them cooked up for you? Yes, I see people LOADING up their bowls with gut bombs of noodles (that can't be good for you), but keep in mind that a generous side of white rice comes with your meal. As others have mentioned, the bowls are a little on the small side, and the selection of meats and vegetables leave something to be desired. Generally a single-serving Mongolian grill will give you a larger portion and have a stack of to-go boxes so you can take the leftovers home, but no such luck here. The spit guards over all the veggies, sauces, and noodles are way too low and make it pretty hard to stuff the bowl. I have seen the owner dispense raw chicken, then handle money and credit cards at the register... On the good side, they have rice noodles. read more
