We had a mixed experience at our date night here. The decor is very cute, and had a good vibe. I also think overall their price range is very reasonable. Each of our boil bags came out to around $45-50. However, my bf and I had very different food experiences. Bf loved his bag and the size and quality of his items, and said the kickin sauce was the best boil sauce he had had. Mine, as someone who can't handle spice, was abysmal for what I paid. I got the garlic butter and am not kidding when I say it tasted like water. It needed salt, herbs, garlic, literally anything. I asked the waitress for lemons and that made it more edible, but for $45 it was a very poor experience. Also, one of my snow crab clusters was a lot fresher and higher quality than the other. Service was also a bit slow. I'd say we waited over half an hour for our food, and had trouble getting the waitress's attention. I feel like I wasted my money. Bf said his was the best he's had. That's why I'm ending with a middle rating for this place.

Overall, I'd have to say we were disappointed in our experience at this location. The set up was nice, big, and welcoming. However the food, especially the seafood, tasted frozen including the crab. I am not sure if we just didn't go at the right time or stuff is not in season something. The flavoring was decent, but the actual food was just blah. It's a new location so all the staff are brand new and getting hang of the ropes... our waiter was young and kind of made our ordering experience really confusing. We ended up having to order twice because he didn't understand us the first time or got confused. They do offer decent specials though that allow you to order a combo of different meats so nice for families. Glad we got to try it out, but don't think we will be back.

    Rip off!

This was a rip off! They charged us $18.50 for a side of potatoes and sausage!! We spoke to the person on duty and they told us no refunds because we ate it. We were going off the menu and it should have been $11.25. Draft beer for $6.25. We asked for the manager and they told us they would not give us their name. Not worth it!

Went to Kickin' Crab in Plano, TX and it was amazing! I ordered the Snow Crab Special, which came with 1 lb of snow crab, corn or egg, potatoes, and three sausages. Everythinf was super tasty and perfectly seasoned The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The scenery is definitely a vibe--they had it decorated so cute for Valentine's Day, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I would definitely go again and highly recommend if you're craving a good seafood boil!

This place is amazing! Pricey, but good. I was surprised at the many differences between this location and the one I visited in Houston. You'd think the menu would be more uniform and pricing would be similar. It's significantly more expensive at this location. The service was great! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My server even packaged the rest of my food to go. The ambiance was quiet and there were a lot of families dining in. I got the Half and Half Boil with kickin flavor and medium heat and the Garlic Noodles. I highly recommend both, and if you eat like me, this easily will be 2-3 meals.

    The Warning

What a sorry excuse for a manager and service. They deserve Negative 5 Stars. We a group of 6 went there in Plano...Service was very slow and probably not the waitress' fault as it appears she was not trained. We ordered oyster on half shell 2 orders, they were not bad. We finally got ordered and the food came out hot and ready to eat, however my order was incorrect...and after trying to peal the shrimp I found them so overdone the shell was stuck to the meat plus I had ordered Headless shrimp. They delivered overcooked head on shrimp. I brought this up to the waitress which completely ignored. Also, refused after asking to bring some sort of dish to dump our food into...That never happened and the table continued eating out of clumsy plastic sacks. The waitress finally came back and informed the table they have no such container. I decided to suffer through the shrimp having a head part, that is until I discovered they were so overcooked they could not be pealed. Bringing this to the waitress attention, I handed her the bag and requested they be removed from the bill. She returned and stated that was not possible and pointed out that she had read back the order before turning it in. Now this issue is clearly not the waitress' fault...I requested to see the manager...the manger came out with a sever attitude stating she was going to do nothing and tried to hand the bag back to me...stating the waitress had repeated the order and she was not going to do anything. I asked her to peal one and she instantly refused and said she would make her so called chef do it. She also pointed to the restaurants holy grail...the napkin dispenser which says "No Refunds or Exchanges After Order Has Been Placed" She did not offer anything to a table of six spending several hundred dollars in her establishment. She had an abrasive attitude and was down right snotty. I have been to thousands of restaurants in my lifetime and have never received a verbal tongue lashing from an employee let alone a manager. The store policy written on a napkin container is not only strange, it goes diametrically opposed to the hospitality industry. She should have offered a refund or replacement. She escalated the situation with her rotten condescending mannerisms, speech and complete attitude. I followed her to the counter with the other part of my order in hand (mussels) and told her she could take those back too. She turned and shouted she was not going to do a GD Thing. At that point my frustration got me and I did curse at her...I decided at that point to go back to the table and let it all be...UNTIL...Who pulls up but the Police Department. She called in a Trespassing charge on me and demanded, I be expelled from the premises. After exiting the restaurant the officer informed me, that this was a regular occurrence at this location, that the management and employees regularly disparage customers, make them feel as at fault and refuse to accommodate in any reasonable manner. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE...They will be out of business in short order...

Absolutely terrible experience last night. We waited over 1 hour for our boil after seeing guests arriving after us receiving their boil. After speaking to the manager (she wouldn't give her name) she refused to take care of us and comped our drink like she thought that would fix the issue. The "manager" was completely unprofessional and was yelling at us at our table after refusing to take care of anything. Also, all of the Food Service Manager certifications on the wall are expired!

The Plano location is the one to come out and visit! 1st timers and wow! We felt like royalty with Roxy and her new team she was training them on the spot. Great smiles eager to serve. Now that's what I call service! The place is a few months just opened. Clean place and great atmosphere. But let's get to the meat and bones! The food was superb and I'm not exaggerating steamy and tasty. Such flavors and the margarita mango/strawberry was refreshing we ordered one half snow crabs and half shrimp kicking medium and a side of spicy! And let me tell you it was so good we placed a second order. The shrimp were a great size and the way they cooked them just right. All was just amazing and our new go to seafood food place! Let me tell you we been looking and finally our search is over! We will be back to try their crawfish! See yall lovely ladies in February! Oh and that awesome Roxy lady now I would just come back for that great royalty service! My husband and I will let the word out about this place.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago.
