Been to a few boil places around the area and nothing hits like this place. The sauce is the best I've tried super savory and the quality of seafood is hands down 10/10. Everything is so fresh and huge! Their prices are very generous with the quality of seafood they are offering. They have a bunch of combos and specials daily. They also have a really unique cocktail selection. The staff is super friendly, professional, and the service was quick. The atmosphere is super clean and modern. Hawaiian chain restaurant... it wasn't bad. Pros: clean, fresh seafood, service was good, it has tvs to watch games. The soju cocktails were good. They have tater tots which is a plus. Cons: I got the spicy and it's pretty mild. Maybe their spiciest would be medium spice. But if you don't care for spice... it could be right for you. The signature sauce was lacking depth. Ok Renton, I see you! You picked up another good restaurant at The Landing. I've never had New Orleans Cajun seafood with a Hawaiian twist before so I had to try this place out. I browsed through the menu via QR code. Not everyone has a cell phone though so I'm sure they have some hard copy menus just in case. I was surprised they had lunch specials on the weekend, but since they're new to the area and are probably going through a soft opening I thought it was a pretty good deal. The restaurant was really clean. Even the bathroom was clean. I'm not surprised their Public Health rating was Excellent because it showed. Besides, who doesn't like shiny new appliances, fixtures, and furniture?! Friendly service from the get go. No hiccups or problems. Pretty impressive since they just opened. They were playing all the K-Pop hits: TWICE, EXO, BTS, BLACKPINK. They don't have Soju though. I guess if you want Soju you gotta run to Exit 5 first, knock back some shots then walk to Kickin' Kajun. I haven't tried their Seafood Boil yet but their Shrimp Po' Boy and chowder was pretty damn good. Also tried the Fried Oreo with ice cream. I know they have these at the Puyallup Fair (cough, I mean Washington State Fair) but I liked this random dessert option. If you're trying to find this place it's between Dough Zone and Trenchers near the garage and roundabout. I'd put this place on top with Crawfish House and Crawfish Hut. I'm jealous of the Boeing workers since they're so close to this restaurant. Another win for the South End! read more

So. Good. Went here with a buddy who was visiting and we wanted something different than the usual kbbq, sushi, etc. So glad we chose this place. We shared a combo and ordered some additional fried plates because we felt the combo wouldn't be enough food. We ordered the catfish and lemon pepper wings. Adding the extra plates was a good call. We didn't finish the fries that came with the plates but the combo was destroyed. Both the catfish and wings were very tasty and the portions are good. If I wasn't so full I would have ordered another catfish. For the combo, we chose Da Mix sauce, which is a mix of Louisiana spices and garlic butter. We also went with medium spice, which (for us) was perfect. There was a little bit of heat but not so much to take away any of the flavors. We chose the king crab as our main "protein" and we only got three legs. For the price, a fourth leg would have been appreciated. Service was good. Our waitress gave us some advice on which flavors to get and she was on point. She came by later in the meal to give us some new gloves. Although we were wearing gloves, somehow the sauce leaked through so the new gloves were appreciated. The ambiance is a little on the louder side and it echoes quite a bit. It's not so loud that you can't have a conversation with your party. Definitely coming back! Highly recommended if you enjoy Cajun flavors. read more

Decided to check this place out, and we were extremely impressed. As soon as we walked in, the staff welcomed us in, and everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. This is definitely the nicest Cajun restaurant that I've been to. The place was beautifully decorated, and on top of that the food was amazing!! I was in Seattle visiting some friends, I'm from Socal and I thought this Cajun food was absolutely delicious. Their sauce is so delicious, I ordered 1lb of head on shrimp, mix sauce and their 5X spice level. I can handle spice but I still like to enjoy the flavor and this place does it so well. I loved the sweetness that comes through the sauce as well. Oh don't get me started on how clean the shrimps were. I absolutely hate seeing shrimps that aren't deveined properly and every piece was cleaned. I also ordered the mini deep fried Oreos with vanilla ice cream and they were sooooo good. I wish I ordered the 4 piece instead! The owner also helped with our orders when there was a mix up, he was so kind and patient with us. Our food came out in a timely manner even though there was a bigger group seated before us. The restaurant was so clean and spacious! We were seated right away! One's lady that offers to help cracking down the lobster which I never had before with others Cajun restaurants from East, Central Coast or even here's Seattle Regions. Definitely 5 stars service. For starter's: Oysters basket with Cajun fries and the best part is the fries rather than Oyster ( $17/ 8 pieces) Combo's Lobster with Signature Kickin sauce Mild is very garlicky with a lot of chucks fresh garlic comes with 2 scoop of rice. Swimming lobsters from the glass tank will be at your table in 10mins that how's fresh juicy meat of claws and tail. Clams and Mussels were great as well, however, Shrimps were not really good( probably frozen). There were mini red potatoes, very soggy corn from frozen and sliced sausage ( not a fan ). By the Pound- Crawfish with garlic butter spice sauce wasn't that good at all (xtra charge for sides). Not fresh or chewy juicy flavored. Rather have live Crawfish than dead before boiling it, cause it's so dry out. The Cajun broth seafood boiling are missing a lot of Umami flavor. If y'all been across country for Cajun boiling, y'all know!! For the management, please hand out individual hand wipes before and after meal. Gloves didn't help for those poking claws dinner. Healthy issues here. However, Setting tables and chairs were very cramming together with awkward and ungainly. Too parallel with each other can not be moved around comfortably. I came here with my friend for dinner to get their seafood boil. We were immediately greeted by staff and was able to get a table right away. The server was great in helping us navigate through the menu and the overall service was great! We ended up getting the snowcrab combo with the DaMix sauce in extreme 5x. I was very happy to see there was a seafood boil place they opened so close to me that a few friends and I decided to try it out. We arrived around 6:00 PM on a Friday and to my surprised there was only a few tables full (I'm sure not alot of people don't know they just opened) so we were seated right away. I decided to order a pound of crawfish and a pound of clams. My friends ordered a gator po boy and the frozen Dungeness crab. We also orders mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. We're waiting for the appetizer and a women brings out a gator basket and we reiterated he orders the gator po boy and mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The woman said "oh we don't have mozzarella sticks" so we were all looking at each other confused. So while we're looking at the menu again to decide to order another appetizer someone else brings us the mozzarella sticks that they apparently didn't have. So confusing. My crawfish and clams were great with the house sauce. I ordered spicy and it definitely was VERY spicy. One thing I noticed half my clams were closed which was disappointing because I couldn't eat half of them. The waitress also mixed up my friends order by bringing her the LIVE Dungeness crab instead of the frozen but she didn't want to take it back, but there is a huge price difference so it was frustrating how they mixed the two up. My other friend said the po boy was so so, nothing to rave about. I know they have to work through the issues of a restaurant as they first open but a few suggestions would be to offer wipes for people who order the boil. The napkins aren't cutting it if you get the sauce all over. And we did wait awhile for our check. Also they didn't have a drink menu so I had no idea what kind of alcoholic drinks they have so hopefully they get one in the future. The restaurant itself is very inviting and I love the interior design of the wall in the back of the restaurant. I definitely will be back because the food I had was REALLY good and I would like to try more items on the menu. read more

Hot damn!!!! You don't need to travel to Crap Pot in Seattle anymore for a boil. This is hands down the best boil the girl and I have had in WA and it was convenient and right in the backyard. I went here on a Sunday with a friend. The place wasn't very busy so we got a table immediately. The menu was a bit confusing and leaves a lot up to interpretation. We looked online before coming and it wasn't the same menu. There's a lunch special that they offer that's not on the online menu. We started by ordering the strawberry melona soju which was pretty big; it's a 32oz cocktail which contains a whole bottle of soju. We ended up sharing the drink and still wasn't able to finish it. We also shared the snow crab legs combo which came with 1/2lb of shrimp, 1/2lb of clams, 1/2lb of mussels, 2 corns, 2 potatoes, 2 sausages and 2 sides of rice. We chose the DA mix sauce in mild. I didn't really like the sauce. It was salty and we didn't care for the flavor. The shrimp seemed to be overcooked and the crab was challenging to open and rubbery like it was overcooked. The food just doesn't seem worth the price. Although the waiters were very friendly and attentive throughout our visit, I don't think I'll be going back. read more

As a new spot for seafood boil, this definitely hits the spot for our seafood cravings! I ordered their crawfish combo and my friend ordered crawfish and shrimp with DA mix, medium spicy seasoning with some rice on the side. - Crawfish combo: Their DA mix is a seasoning mix between signature Kickin with medium spicy was a good amount of heat without burning your mouth. The clams, crawfish, muscles, and shrimp that came with the convo were super fresh, especially the clams! The star of the dish, crawfish, was slightly above average in size and overall, extremely fresh and the seasoning included larger chunks of garlic which mixed well with the rice. My only complaint is the corn, which seemed lackluster and seemed like your standard frozen corn on the cob. I will skip the other dish because it was a similar assortment of seafood and overall, we got our foods and utensils pretty quickly. The only reason that this prevented me from giving it 5-stars was the corn, and at times I felt like the servers were too attentive to us; to their defense, we were the only ones in the restaurant but it led to multiple servers checking in on us which seemed excessive. Tried them today and it was great. I ordered a combo with crawfish and it was very tasty and good portion size as well. Waitress I encountered was very polite and informative. My only thing is I wish it wasn't so bright inside. It reminded me of a hospital. It would be fun to add few arcade games to attract more families.
