My one-year-old son had his first visit here today, and I really liked the environment. It was only his first visit, so I know things can always change, but my first impression was excellent. The receptionist checked us in quickly, and the doctor saw my son promptly. She was very welcoming, kind, and informative throughout the appointment. While we waited, there was a play area for the kids, which was especially helpful for active toddlers like mine. Overall, it was a great first experience. I liked their welcome board and also the kids waiting room with books and cool teeth toys they can play with. Most of all, I appreciated how sweet and caring all of the staff are. They really put in the effort to make the dentist less scary for the kids. You truly feel their patience and dedication to the field. After every visit, my daughter is comforted with a goody bag, stickers, a small prize toy, and even a balloon. AMAZING experience overall. Ok so something WEIRD happened to my one-year-old daughter after she visited the dentist here. She started letting us brush her teeth without crying or fighting us! I thought it was so strange and funny, and I mentioned it to my husband and he said he noticed it too! Babies are so funny hahaha. So we took my 1-year-old and 3-year-old here for their annual check up and there was a small room for the kids to play in while we waited to see the dentist. It was a little sparse but it was nice they even had a room for the kiddos to play in. I filled out the first patient forms on the iPad which was extensive and took a long time to complete. I do wish I had the option to do it with pen and paper or to do it online beforehand. When the Dr was ready to see us, I took my 3-year-old first and he started cryinggg. I felt so bad but Dr. Atiya and the assistant were kind and accommodating. I also noticed Dr. Atiya looked so young! It was a pleasant surprise though as I usually have a good experience with younger professionals. I feel they are more up-to-date with the latest research and technology, better listeners to patients, and generally are better providers. Anyway, we were able to get my 3-year-old checked while he was sitting on my lap instead of lying down in the chair. My one-year-old unfortunately cried the entire time they checked and brushed her teeth. But she made it through just fine and I swear, after this experience at the dentist, she lets us brush her teeth without any complaints! Maybe she's just grateful it's us who brush her teeth, not a stranger haha. After the "cleaning," they each got a balloon, a Zollipop (sugar-free lollipops, a game changer), and a dental goody bag. I think this alone made their whole dental visit worth it. I hope this office does well - the front office people were nice, the Dr and assistants were patient and accommodating, and the office was very clean and modern. I plan to return the following year for their next visit! read more

Took my kid here to get the bi-annual check up and ended up paying $50 for copay that wasn't discussed before the procedure (I waited in their lobby 15 minutes past my appointment time so they sure could inform me that beforehand). I have been taking my kid here for 2 years now for check up and this is the first time I had to pay copay. When I requested an invoice, the front desk girl brushed it off by saying "we will email you". I asked what email address she has on file, she then looked at me and said they don't have one in the system. Like, how do you propose to email me without having my email address, yet you don't even bother to ask? 4 hours after I got home, I didn't receive their invoice in my email so I called to remind them. The same front desk said someone is going to email me right away then hang up. Another 3 hours went by, still no invoice received. I truly hope this is some misunderstanding and not a scam. I really love their office but afraid I won't come back with this kind of customer service. read more

We took our 6 yo and 5 yo to this office and we are so happy we did. This is their very first ever dental experience and they were very hesitant and scared to go but this office made them feel so welcome and accommodating to them they were not afraid anymore. Five star dental experience! I came across Kids Dental Spot when my 10 year old daughter was starting her orthodontist treatment and needed some teeth extractions and regular teeth cleaning. I am very glad I came across this dental office as it has been a great experience for all my three kids especially my 10 year old having to get multiple teeth extractions. They definitely make your child feel comfortable by using distraction techniques to help the child get through their treatment. As a pediatric healthcare worker, this is such an amazing technique for a child to avoid being traumatized when being at the doctor. Dr. Atiya is such a sweetheart and is a multitasker front and back office which is rare seeing a doctor interact with you at a dental office helping you schedule your next appointment themselves which is amazing! Highly recommend this place! Everyone is very kind and try to make your child feel comfortable. They have a playroom, the doctor put a movie on for my son, explained what he could expect, and gave him some gifts at the end. The dentist was thorough, very quick, and friendly which you especially come to appreciate if you have an active boy in his "terrible two's". I am almost positive I heard both the doctor and front desk person speak Spanish too which is an added plus. The inside is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Overall great environment and staff. My daughter had the best time seeing Dr. B at Kids Dental Spot. First of all, it's the nicest dental office I've ever seen. Top of the line machines, beautiful decor and even a play area for the children. Staff and Dr are so patient and kind. You can really tell they love working with children. I brought my one yr old for his first check up. I also brought my 4 yr old autistic son with oral sensitivity issues. They tried so hard and were very patient to try to get him to do X-rays and a dental cleaning. In the end I did have to hold him but I really appreciate the effort they put into not restraining and trying to get him to do it on his own.
