For the wider audience that may not know this choice little spot, it's family run and very authentic. The food was amazing, love their noodles and broth! Upon arriving I gave the kitchen staff a birthday cake, with the explanation of " at the end of the meal please bring this over to us so we can celebrate my friend's birthday." They came over and sang happy birthday to my friend. We enjoyed our cake. And then we left the rest of the cake for the nice employees in the kitchen. It was a fun and memorable day for us and for the crew working too! Just wanted to check in and share the info on this sweet spot.

This place is strictly CASH ONLY. So please come prepared. We came and it was a full mad house. Lines and parking was full I knew that's when we were going to get a great meal. Came with my mom and we DEF ordered more food than we can take on. My mom hasn't had Cambodian food in a while so we def made people wonder why we ordered so much lol Food was so savory and delicious. Seating is limited hopefully they can expand. I think they deserve it as a lot of people raved about their dishes. Service was friendly as well and short staffed due to the holiday. All patrons were really understanding of that. The iced coffee was solid. The bad: The women who work here were a lot less friendly. The tables were so close to one another that we couldn't sit across from one another. Food also took an incredibly long time to come out even though we only ordered two dishes--student noodles and beef skewers. We also had to wave down a server just to follow up on the iced coffee that I ordered, especially since this was already after the food had finally arrived. Lastly, while it was good that they had their own parking lot, exiting through the almost too narrow alley was incredibly challenging in either direction. All in all, still remain torn about returning.

Course #3 - Crispy Quail - with Khmer seasoning. Very crunchy and different way to eat Quail. Course #4 - Fish soup in a savory broth. I think this should have been Course #2 before the beef entree. Course #5 - Whole fish with pineapple garnish on a bed of noodles. My personal favorite. Course #6 - Lobster claws with Chow Mein, Veggies and Garlic sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed this one! The live entertainment (singers on stage, band playing, etc.) can be a pro and a con at the same time. It's nice to see and experience, but it also makes it hard to hear sometimes. I can't count the amount of times (over the years) where I couldn't hear my server or even my own family I was sitting with. Service is fair. Staff is usually friendly. Sometimes it can be hard to get their attention, even if the restaurant isn't super busy. Also, parking in the main lot is tight and almost never available.. There's additional parking on the side with an atrocious bump to get up to. Definitely not low car friendly.

The beef larb was a little too tangy and sour for my boyfriend's taste, but he still enjoyed it. He also said the beef in the larb was a little chewy for him, but it wasn't a big issue for him. I enjoy eating sour foods, but it did have us sweating inside haha. I loved the combination of veggies mixed in with the larb and the cabbage definitely helped cut out some of the sourness. The angel chicken wings! Probably one of my favorites because of all the lemongrass and turmeric added inside. The chicken was crispy on the outside yet so juicy on the inside.
