Ok, this is a tough one to write but it will more than likely be the last review for this place from me. So I get it, there is a difference between being efficient and then just being rushed. The food was great but the service has so much to be desired. We got seated and our drinks immediately but again there was no welcoming greeting or cordial welcome. It was pretty much "what can I get you" offering. My wife is Gluten Free because of celiacs and my wife asked if the potatoes were GF and the waitress looked at her like she had a unicorn growing out of her head and the waitress was like, "I don't know?" with no further explanation. Again keeping in mind that the way she was handling this transaction like we were in a grub line in boot camp. She took our order and then she was basically no where to be found. And I mean literally no where you be found. Was never asked or asked how our meal was or if there was anything else we needed. NOTHING!!!! We were given our bill and we were out the door. Again, this is a tough one to write as I pay attention to companies that are solely owned by women and I support this very much, but today they missed the mark completely. Very disappointing and will never return to Kimmie's ever again. I'm giving the food two stars but zero points for their customer service.

I've lived in orange almost my entire life and never knew about Kimmie's. It is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. Soo good and the price isn't too bad. The service was quick and attentive to everything you needed. The food came out fairly quick which was nice because my boyfriend and I were starving. I had the pancakes with a side of hash browns and bacon both done extra crispy. My boyfriend had the Hamburger patty with potatoes, scrambled eggs and a side of hash browns. Everything was so delicious I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves breakfast at any time of the day

This Kimmie's has been here for years and always has a crowd. It's a cute homey place. They handle orders efficiently even though they have a big menu with a lot of choices. Pricing is a little high but it's in Old Town, so not surprising. The portions are large and you're likely to have leftovers. So not a big complaint. My wife had the corned beef hash. I was going to ask well, but I always ask if it is made in house. The waitress was honest and said it was not. I went with the chile relleno omelet instead and was glad I did. Our friend had the house made sausage with eggs. He declared the sausage as very good. The chile relleno omelet is sheer genius. They wrap a poblano chile relleno inside the omelet then cover with cheese, salsa and sour cream. Wow!

Stopped in for a yummy breakfast! Gotta say, the vibes the staff give off, makes for a nice experience too. They're all so helpful and smile. Nissa was our server, and she was attentive and gave great suggestions. I found the hollandaise on my eggs Benedict incredibly good! Coffee is strong and hot! Perfection. I will definitely be back!

Kimmie's is located in Old Town Orange so the parking is street parking with a few surrounding parking lots. They offer seating both indoor and outdoor. The vibe I get at Kimmie's is more like I'm sitting at a diner. I could see it being a local's fave spot where their raving customers are local regulars. The servers are awesome, super friendly, very attentive. The menu offers the usual diner food options with house coffee, which I passed. I ordered the french toast and breakfast burrito. Both were tasty but nothing I would crave again.

Overall, everything lacked flavor, although I will say the red salsa served with the chips was delicious. My friend ordered the avocado toast, but it was basically just a slice of bread with sliced avocado--no seasoning, condiments, or anything to make it stand out. The small garden salad was equally underwhelming, consisting of only romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with no dressing or even a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but they were more like open-faced boiled eggs since the yolks were completely hard instead of runny. The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

Benny with a Orange Mimosa. The french toast was of the highest quality. They were sweet, fluffy, and flavorful. Nothing was too overwhelming. I chose the Bella Bella Benny, because I wanted something savory. The vinaigrette was a little too heavy handed for my liking. It overtook a lot of the other flavors that the Benedict had. Unfortunately, it relegated the other ingredients in the dish. The Mimosa was standard. It didn't taste like it was freshly squeezed but something I could've made at home. Store bought Orange Juice being a little heavy handed in the alcohol. It's not terrible, but don't expect it to WOW you. Overall, it was a quaint place, that has plenty of options. With the right staff and ambiance, it's a place I would go again to try another plate.

I came in here two weeks ago to place a to- go order since the wait time was over an hour. Shoutout to the hostess Sophia who was amazing! Very knowledgeable on the menu , friendly , happy , quick , and made me want to come back to see if the other employees were just as awesome! She helped me from start to finish deciding what to order , while also seating other parties so quickly . She taught us that we can join the waitlist online and skip a wait , and brought our coffee for us while we waited for food. Amazing service ! The food was so great I knew I had to come back for dine -in. Joined on Yelp while we were still at home , then checked in when we arrived. Was quoted twenty five minutes , sat in under twenty! Our waitress was quick and attentive , even when it looked like the new tables just kept coming in! The employees here seem great , however the prices are steep. Weather that's worth it or not depends! Thanks for a fantastic breakfast , pancake house!

Sometimes you have to put in real work to cut pancakes with a fork and knife, but these ones were an ideal consistency. I loved the skillet as well: flavorful beef, savory eggs, and my server even suggested adding cheese. Speaking of my server-- Ray Y was absolutely seamless. My coffee cup was always full, he brought me extra cups of milk instead of me having to bug him for it, he brought extra napkins without me needing to ask, and he kept me up to date on how my food was coming along. I also enjoyed the wooden pillars in the center of the restaurant, it added a nice touch. Anyway, I had a great time. I'm not in Anaheim often, but now I have another reason to drop by.

The hours never really worked with our schedule either being from 8:30 am to 2 pm. We started off with the Ube Sweet Cream Cold Brew ($7) and Pandan Cold Brew ($7). My bf absolutely loved the ube cold brew and said it was probably the best he's ever had. He loved it so much that he got another one to-go after we finished our meal so that was a rare occurrence lol. The ube flavor was strong even after everything was mixed together. Smooth, creamy and tasty. My pandan cold brew was also pretty good. Usually I feel like pandan is difficult to get a real robust flavor and you end up tasting more coffee than pandan. I could actually taste the vanilla/nutty notes and coconut flavor. Also very yummy after mixing it all together. Cold brew flavor did end up coming out stronger tho but I somewhat expect that. We ordered the Adobo Rice Omelet ($14.95 - Chicken-adobo garlic rice wrapped in a three egg omelet, topped with adobo gravy, fried garlic & scallions) - This was really tasty and kind of heavy for me. Sooo much rice under the omelette bed lol. I was beyond stuffed and couldn't take another bite at the end and ended up packing like 2 bites in a small box. My bf ordered the Jeepney Breakfast Burrito ($14 - Crispy golden potatoes, melted cheese, chipotle aoli, scrambled eggs. Your choice of meat, served with a side of pork chicharron and Sinigang Salsa verde) - This was soo delicious. The chicharron side was a great crunch and sinigang salsa verde with the burrito made it even better. It was over the top for our bellies already with the heavy breakfast, but I still insisted that we try a regular breakfast item like french toast. Ordered the Ube Fruity Pebble French Toast ($16.95) and it was yummy! I definitely needed more fruity pebbles but that's my preference. Staff was friendly and prompt. The place was packed and I had joined the waitlist online prior to coming. Waited less than 10 min when we actually arrived. I also loved the decorations everywhere with the foliage, light fixtures and even the ceiling fans. The Tagalog vocab on the chalkboard is also fun to read and learn. I like that there's still a modern feel to the place.

The only thing to note is that the music can get pretty loud at times, making it a little difficult to hear your conversation.
