Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Vegetable Lo Mein, Spring Roll (1 Piece) Crab Rangoon (6 Pieces)

Crispy, sweet, savory and fresh. Don't come here expecting Panda Express flavors, come here to experience real Chinese cooking. Portions sizes are great and prices are very reasonable.

Lo Mein Noodle

Service was great but food was okay. No veggies in fried rice or noodles and kung pao needed more flavor.

LARGE Kung Po Chicken
Parker M.

Solid fried rice, but Wow..... a picture is worth 1000 words they say, I'll let it do most of the talking. I will not be back. I expressed genuine excitement to the man at the front about trying this food having just moved here to AZ and to be met with this is a disgrace. This so called "kung po chicken" is nothing but a bag of frozen microwaved vegetables with a FEW BITS of bland chicken. Unfortunately, I could never in good faith suggest this place to someone nor will I return again. Everything you see in the photo is going straight to the trash the entire LARGE Kung po chicken order. Completely disappointed.

If you're looking for a hidden gem in Phoenix, look no further than Kim's! Tucked away in an unassuming spot, this place will surprise you with incredible food and authentic flavors. It's take out only, so when you walk in, you are greeted directly from the kitchen, pretty cool. The no-frills atmosphere makes you feel like you've stumbled upon a local secret. The menu has all of the classics you'd expect, but what really sets this place apart is the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. Service is fast from the time I called to when I picked up. Of course Eddie, the owner, was friendly and attentive, even though the place was busy. Portions are generous, and the prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality you get. If you're in the mood for delicious Chinese food in a relaxed, unpretentious setting, this is your new favorite spot. Kim's might be a small place, but it delivers big-time on flavor. Definitely a must-try if you're within driving distance. Good Chinese food is hard to come by in this town!

Real egg foo young
The D.

I agree with some of the older reviews the egg foo young is the best in the Central Phoenix area. It's real with all of the ingredients inside of it and I always ask for bean sprouts and they accommodate that request as well. I have never had any issues with the food being bland or flavorless in any way but I understand you can't please everyone but I'm here to stay I love the food here....

Rangoon
Amber J.

We got the shrimp lo mein. The sauce was bitter, it actually tasted like it came from a bottle and not house made. Honestly the weirdest tasting shrimp lo mein I've ever had. I didn't know it comes with vegetables most places you have to ask. There was barley any noodles as well. The box wasn't filled to the top either. You get 6 shrimp in the large order. Good sized shrimp but the flavor of it all was just bad. The Rangoon's were borderline cold. The sweet and sour was watery. I guess you get what you get for the price. I'm giving two stars because I haven't tried any of the other food but just based on this meal alone, I really won't even bother coming back.

Vegetable Lo-mein, Potstickers
C G.

Food and customer service always consistent, incredible! Potstickers are second to none and I could eat the vegetables lo mein everyday and never get sick of it. Everything is so flavorful and always fresh. Plus, they have couple other amazing places next door, the Neveria and Churro places are also 5 stars! That whole shopping center has better customer services than any place in Scottsdale that's for sure.

Excellent food, excellent service. Heavy on celery - which I like - but if you don't, remember to ask for light celery.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time and so glad I finally got to last…read moreFriday at lunch time. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and feels very upscale. It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

I ordered the seafood jjam-pong and Genghis-khan beef. The jjam-pong was not oily like at other restaurants which I appreciated. It was very flavorful and clean tasting. The beef was delicious and savory. I couldn't finish it all and had leftovers. I would definitely go back and try many other dishes. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is amazing. Our food came out in record time, but was still hot and tasted of high quality! I recommend coming during their lunch times, I came on a Sunday and they still offered their lunch menu. The lunch menu plates are huge! They come with your entree, soup, chow mein, rice, a crab ragoon, and an egg roll. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp and it was delicious. It had a slight kick, bit it wasn't too spicy. The shrimp was cooker perfectly, mot rubbery. My favorite was the egg drop soup, it had tofu in it and it was addictive. I definitely recommend checking George and Sons out!

To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.

It's a small plate type of restaurant and we tried 5 different ones: 1-egg noodles with pork belly...delicious!!! The pork belly pieces were so tender and the noodles were perfect. 2-fried bamboo with sweet chili sauce...amazing! I would love to have a bag of these and just eat them like chips while watching TV...LOL! 3-stir-fry bok choy with tofu in a garlicky sauce...one of our biggest surprises of the evening! What a wonderful way to eat your greens, along with the most flavorful tofu I've ever had. (We actually ordered it twice.) 4-scallop crudo with garlic and lemon sauce...refreshing! I'm not a big scallop person, but these were so fresh and so good! 5-fried chicken with a sweet/savory dipping sauce...very good! The chicken came like wings, very crispy and juicy. Everything we had was incredible! Unfortunately, I'm allergic to curry and mango, so our choices were somewhat limited. I'm just glad we were able to find these dishes that were so awesome. The only downside is the parking. It's street parking, but there are a bunch of apartments all around, so the spots were very limited. There are some pay parking lots, but they're pretty far from the restaurant. Hubby drove around and did find a spot about a block and a half down a side street. But, to be honest, it was a nice little walk back to the car after eating. What a fun time and a delectable experience!!
