For this restaurant to have 4 stars is outrageous. The entire meal was below mediocre and very lacking. The bbq pork W/ vegetables was short changed on the meat and heavy on the celery. I don't have pictures but this place is on the never return listen. I'm from the east and the "crab puffs" or crab ragoon are gross. They taste horrible. Egg roll was small and burnt. Maybe I'm missing something, but I was not a fan. I absolutely love Chinese food, but not knowing the culture I can give the best feedback so this is of course just based on what I like. House fried rice should be easy enough, but the first red flag was when I opened the carton and could see no meet, just veggies. There were small pieces of chicken and pork. I found no beef, none at all. When I finally found some shrimp they were the tiniest little salad shrimp and no, they were not deveined. I'm not sure why King Wong Chinese gets all the praise in every Phoenix food article. If we are speaking in terms of a solid Chinese takeout spot in Phoenix/Arcadia, Kim's blows it out of the water. Yeah, I said it. It's not necessarily located in the most inviting strip mall, but the kitchen and waiting area looked very clean and up to par. And the food, it's incredible. My favorite go-to order is the Kung Pao Chicken combo. The dish is flavorful, The fried rice is excellent, The egg roll is crisp, and the wanton is delicious. My first visit really impressed me and I now order here regularly. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered wonton soup no flavour at all. Chicken chow mein minus chicken maybe they forgot chicken? Happy family with fried rice wouldn't order again. Fried rice is just rice with TONS of soy sauce, nothing to be happy about on the Happy Family. Moo shu pork no pork! I guess they figure you won't notice? The pancakes for the moo shu were flour tortillas. That is sad for a Chinese place. I would have called to let the owner or manager know that things weren't so great, but they are closed until July 5th. This is my number one go when it comes to Chinese food! I eat here as often as possible and I highly advise anyone else to do the same!

Normally we love this place.. got us through the Pandemic but unfortunately they tend to be inconsistent. Prices are good but The last order we made was lacking in flavor and quality. Just had delivery from DoorDash. Sweet and sour pork, egg roll, wonton soup and pork chop suey. Egg roll was good. Won ton soup ok. The first bite of sweet and sour pork was just a piece of fried coating. Not a good start. After that it was tender pieces of pork. It had an unpleasant old oil taste. The pork chop suey was very good. Nice tiny pieces of lots of different types of vegetables and the pork is tasty. They really smoke the pork. I think for now I would stick to their non-fried vegetable dishes that include the BBQ pork. read more

Fist time trying Kim's Chinese Kitchen today. Decided to try Kim's since was not please with service from another Chinese food place. My daughter is happy, food came during the time was told and my daughter said the food is better. Highly recommend Kim's Maybe I should thank King Wong for not putting effort into their customers. I had been going to King Wong's for years and years. Of course 2020 has been hard for everyone, I felt like I was more than tolerant. The icing on the cake was when I put a order in they said about a hour, when a hour came and went and I called they could give no ETA had no idea where the driver was and they were not interested in checking in. So for more than 6 months refused to have any service with them, then I caved and was not impressed with the food and they added delivery charge. read more

I just moved to Central Phoenix from West Phoenix and having to leave my hometown Chinese restaurant. I was a little apprehensive at first. But we settled on Kim's kitchen for delivery. When I called in for my delivery order, I was greeted by a very pleasant voice and a very helpful person. He took my order, double checked it. And it was perfect. We ordered kung po chicken spicy, sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls. It was perfectly priced. The delivery driver was super sweet. I highly recommend Kim's kitchen food was delightful. The food was absolutely delicious! The egg rolls were so fresh! The crab Rangoon was full of crab, delish. The orange chicken was so yummy. Wasn't heavy like typical orange chicken and the chicken was really fresh tasting. We had ordered delivery. They came within 30 minutes and were very nice!
