This is my second time coming here now, and I love the food! The first time I had the khao soi and the second we got the crispy chicken curry and the chili omelette. I haven't been disappointed with anything yet. The khao soi was flavorful; the crispy chicken curry was indeed crispy and yummy; the omelette had meat that was similar to pad kra pao, which I love. The service has been pretty standard, but I also see there's usually only one server for the whole restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is so cute, with a flower theme decorated everywhere and a beautiful mural on the wall. I love how close Kinaree is to me, and I will definitely be back!

Amazing brunch! My bf and I arrived around 12pm. We waited a bit but were seated shortly. The place is small but very busy. It didn't take long for us to order and have our food ready. I ordered the smoked salmon toast and my bf ordered the Hat Yai fried chicken. They were so good! They were a bit pricey though. Definitely would come back and try a different dish on the menu! :-)

Came here to have lunch with friends. Decided this location because it seems cute and the menu selections seems unique and avante guard with some Thai typical dishes. The staff is friendly and food comes out quick. We ordered their cocktails which are really yummy . The songkrang and the cucumber cocktail. For appetizers we shared the fried crab rolls and the shrimp donuts. Both are crisp, flavorful and fun to eat! For our mains we ordered the Thai bomb omelette, the fried fish egg Benedict and the northern Thai sausage plate with sticky rice. Food came out well decorated for the eyes and smells devine. I had a coconut espresso to go and it really hit the spot. I will come back to try other dishes such a their Khow soi noodles.

Welcome to Irvine! This place is the whole package. Easy parking, super friendly staff, and bright, casual space. The food...well, come hungry and try as many things as you can. I came here a couple times and these are the only pics I could get because we dove right in! So far my favorite is the crab fried rice. The flavor combination just hits you. I have no idea what the green sauce was but it was a perfect condiment for this dish. I kind of love fried chicken and have been told that I eat too much of it. This fried chicken was seasoned to perfection, the batter was not too thick, & it was perfectly crispy. I am already looking forward to coming back to try brunch!

I came here for brunch on Easter Sunday. We waited less than 15mins to get seated even though it seemed busy. We all ordered brunch foods, even though the menu also has a good variety of Thai dishes as well. We also got an order of the soufflé pancakes to share, which was the highlight of the meal for me. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and were topped with whipped cream and a delicious strawberry sauce. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict for my main, which came with potatoes and salad. The flavors were good and I liked the variety of ingredients used in the dishes! Everyone else at my table also said they enjoyed their meal. It was a bit hard to get attention from the waiters, as it seems they are a bit understaffed and it was quite busy. Our table was missing condiments, and we couldn't get the waiters attention to bring us some, so we ended up just borrowing them from an empty table. Not ideal, but we didn't want to bother them too much. I enjoyed the food here a lot, so hopefully I'll have the chance to come back and try some different dishes in the future!

Finally was able to stop by to try breakfast here with a friend. It was empty on a Wednesday morning and much easier than trying to get a seat on the weekend. Cute spot- decor was a little busy. Service was OK. When we asked for recommendations, all she said was everything is great and look at the pictures. Also disappointed that they didn't have lattes and only black coffee. Food was great. We shared a Thai basil omelette and a sweet option, which was the French toast crème brûlée. I would absolutely recommend the Thai basil omelette. It's something I can literally eat every single day. It felt so flavorful and filling. The French toast was a little overwhelming and had too much sauce. Overall was excellent. I would probably come back for more of the Thai food than the breakfast food.

I wanted to try something new for lunch and decided to give this restaurant a try as it has been on my bucket list for some time. This is a very unique Thai fusion restaurant and a few friends have recommended going there. I placed an online order and ordered the holy chili bomb basil omelette, which is essentially pad ka prao filling in the omelette. I am not big on omelettes, but I do love pad ka prao. The pad ka prao was a bit on the sweeter side. I like my pad ka prao more savory than sweet, but the flavor was good. I like that it is paired with some roasted potatoes. I am not too fond of the bread, which is like a French toast texture minus the sweet maple syrup and cinnamon. I wish I was served with a Thai chili fish sauce for the omelette. My order was ready within the time it promised me. It was packed with utensils and napkins when I went to pick it up. From what I saw while waiting, the restaurant is small but cute. I appreciate the Thai-inspired artwork on the walls.

Love this Thai fusion restaurant! We ordered the hainan chicken and the soft shell crab curry and they were amazing! We also got the pandan coconut drink which I'm OBSESSED with and the orange espresso drink! We'd definitely come back! They also serve menu items all day even during breakfast. The service was quick and they were very helpful

I met a friend here for a lunch meeting, and while waiting for her, I decided to order the crab fried rice. The portion was generous and came with a green sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. The lump crab meat was sweet, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It's easily enough for 2-3 servings, and I highly recommend this dish. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu.

This place definitely feels like one of the more pricier Thai options in the area, but it's a pretty solid choice in quality. The kitchen seems small and they didn't have a lot of staff on hand when we went, so expect possible slower service than other places. Everyone was friendly though. We went for brunch and ordered: - pandan sweet tea: the pandan was way too subtle and light... Wouldn't recommend this - creme brulee french toast: this was okay. The creme brulee flavor didn't really mesh well with the toast for us. Maybe it would have tasted better if the edges of the toast were crispy - crispy belly & belly rice: this was pretty good but a bit expensive - soft shell crab: the texture of the crab was perfectly crunchy. It comes with a lot of sauce which was a bit on the salty side though The look of the restaurant is very bright and fun with all the flower decorations, but they were playing club music in the background which is quite a choice with the two conflicting vibes... Parking was also pretty easy when we went.

First time here and it was a mixed experience. The Make It Rice with Jumbo Crab Meat had good flavor, but the crab was minimal and mostly on top. The Crispy Belly wasn't very crispy and was more chewy than expected. The soufflé pancake was the highlight -- fresh, fluffy, and worth the wait, and we appreciated the heads-up about the busy Sunday brunch. The ambiance is beautiful with a flower wall and spring-inspired decor. I'd come back to try other dishes since there are plenty of options on the menu.

Loved this place! The menu felt like it was the Cheesecake Factory menu haha there's just sooo many options. Luckily we did our research and knew what we wanted beforehand. We made a reservation for 10 am on a Saturday morning and it wasn't packed yet but by the time we left all of the tables were full. We literally ordered everything off the menu and everything was so good. Definitely shareable plates. My favorites were probably the soufflé pancakes and the holy bomb chili omelette. Looking forward to coming back!

This place is a gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked and most important to me is authenticity. I'm Thai so my expectations are high when it comes to Thai food and this place did not disappoint. Great portions and everything came out fast. So many varieties- I don't see this many options on the menu anywhere else. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was welcoming. Definitely one of the better Thai spots I've tried--I'll be back!

My friend was visiting and we were looking for a place that opened early near her hotel. I found this location on yelp and although thought Thai for breakfast might be too much but their offerings intrigued me. I started with coffee and I really liked it. It was smooth and not too strong. I like my coffee black and it was delicious. We ordered two dishes to share. The battered fish benedict looked interesting and we chose a soufflé pancake with berry compote. The pancake would be ready in 15 minutes so it would make a perfect second meal as a dessert after we enjoy the savory Benedict. When the battered fish Benedict came out, I was impressed with the size! It was perfect for two people to share. I hope they don't change their portion size. The fish was perfectly crispy and flaky. It came with cubed crispy potatoes and small salad. The sauce had a honey mustard flavor. It wasn't the traditional hollandaise. Still I loved the combination of flavors of the Benedict. The pancake came later (perfectly on time) and it was the perfect ending to our perfect meal. When shared, it was the right portion. I am so happy we came across this place and would definitely come back here. read more

Tried it for the first time. It was okay - just average food. Interior is nice. Service was efficient. Food was just average. We had the khao soi with beef, crab roll for appetizer and the crispy pork belly with belly (char siu type). There are other restaurants that serves far better Thai food. Pricing is a bit high IMO. I think because they're in Quail Hill/Irvine, they felt they can charge more. Don't think the price matches the food I got. read more

My husband and I got the taro matcha as our drink and it was perfectly creamy with a natural earthy taste and the touch of taro is a perfect hint that's not too sweet. We also the Mama creamy Tom Yum and while i'm pregnant and super picky? it hit the spot for me- Perfect amount of spicy for us at the medium heat and the ingredients all complimented eachother with its shrimp, crispy pork belly, ground pork with variety of fish cakes I believe? It also had ginger root which was a nice surprise! The egg was also perfect, not over cooked or undercooked- just we also got the soufflé pancake and it was surprisingly really fluffy, lots of air pockets that made it super light and not to heavy. The cream on top wasn't super sweet and had a bit of a light saltier taste that was just amazing and complimented well with the fruit, which I personally loved. As I am pregnant like I said though I am staying away from artificial coloring such as Red 40 and the strawberry syrup around the pancakes and that the container they set to the side of it does have it so fair warning if you're trying to stay away from that. Still 5 starts because they told me that honestly after we asked! It also wasn't super packed in here but also not completely empty so it was comfortable to talk with my hubby! read more

I like to start off by saying that we found this gem on yelp when we searched up brunch Irvine when we walked in it was very magical. It was so beautiful. There was lamps hanging from the ceiling in like a flowery way and then on the ceiling, there's a bunch of like flowers as decorations, gorgeous. I love it so much. I felt like a princess eating there. Secondly, the Asian lady working there she was so sweet. She was the hostess. She got a set she checked in with us multiple times if the foot food is good and she gave us a high five super sweet hundred out of 10 customer service. Lastly, the food presentation was awesome. It looked enjoyable. It looked clean. I loved the golden silverware or should I say gold wear. We got the steak and eggs with potatoes as you can see in the photo that I attached to this and we also got calamari. The calamari was delicious. I love that it had more of the calamari than the crispies usually when I get calamari, there's a lot of crisp on the outside and not a lot of calamari so this one was a total opposite so I love that so nice and chewy. The sauces for the calamari was excellent. The steak I think was OK but only because we thought it was beef, but I think it was pork, but that was just our fault because we didn't realize that it was pork so for me it didn't have that much flavor and for my friend she just doesn't really like pork, but it was good. The potatoes on the steak was excellent. We got poached eggs the pushed eggs was perfect and a salad on served with the steak was perfect as well. Will definitely be coming back. Want to try the Matcha pan and the crab roll the vibes were excellent even though on the inside it was very beautiful and mystical and magical. If you're a guy who wanna come here there's a lot of guys there so don't feel like it's too princess for you if you have a girlfriend, definitely take her here so she can feel whimsical and beautiful as well as eating good food and having a great serve server and host. read more

Wow! This is officially my favorite spot for Thai fusion. The menu photos are mouth-watering, and the food lives up to the hype. We ordered the Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette (medium spice is very mild/manageable) and the Soufflé Pancakes. The service was friendly and helpful, and the coffee was good, too. The place is clean and well lit. They only serve breakfast and lunch for now, dinner may come later. I can't wait to bring a group back to try more dishes! read more

Delicious! We loved the khao soi and the crispy fish with apple salad, perfectly seasoned, lots of texture, bright flavors. The menu is not huge but it has a lot of different dishes than the usual Thai restaurant which makes this place fresh. Service is fast, too! Highly recommend. read more

I went here with my friends for lunch. The restaurant's ambiance was really nice and the staffs were really attentive. We got khao soi, crispy pork belly and pork leg. I like the khao soi a lot. The curry was very well flavored and strong, but still well balanced. The chicken in the khao soi is very tender, I can literally split it apart with a spoon. The pork belly rice was really good too. Wow, was not expecting this good of Thai food in Irvine of all places. We got the holy mama basil bomb, pork belly rice, souffle French toast, and the bacon avocado benedict, and everything was really good. The holy mama basil bomb noodles was the main hit, the quality of squid and ingredients was unexpectedly good. Would def come back read more

Breakfast and brunch place is already hard to find but a great one is even harder. I'm lucky coming across this establishment. Food here is good for any time of day. What you see on Yelp is what you get. Look amazing and taste even better. My wife and I are making this place a weekly visit. Staffs are friendly and service is precise. Restaurant atmosphere reminds you of picnic in spring time. read more

Read the reviews and told my group that it may not be the best service, but was happily proven wrong. Seriously good and if you are paying $20 Plus for a breakfast entree and complaining about the wait time, you may need to go somewhere else. Yes, the food did take a while but it was absolutely great and delicious... Go Early and Order Quick :-) read more

This new Thai fusion spot in Quail Hill is excellent. They serve authentic Thai dishes - you won't find Pad Thai on the menu - with American flair. The service is super friendly and the portions are extremely generous for the price. We had the Kinaree Fried Rice - which includes a huge piece of fried chicken, slices of ham and a sausage link on top of yummy fried rice - and the Soufflé Pancakes with berries and fresh cream. I can't wait to try more dishes like the Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette and Khao Soi. We'll definitely be back. read more

This seems like a newer brunch place in Irvine. We randomly found it and decided to check it out. The vibes inside is nice and the food is pretty good. We got the tom yum soup, braised pork, and crab fried rice. We liked the crab fried rice the most. read more

When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. Nothing outstanding - they did tell us they get them made a day before and they warm up upon order.

Found Kinaree Eatery in Irvine off TikTok and honestly really glad we did because this place surprised all of us. We started with drinks and a few of us got the Strawberry Matcha and Ube Matcha, and both were really good. At first glance they looked like they were going to be way too sweet, but they were actually perfect. Super creamy, still had that slight bitter matcha flavor, and the strawberry tasted fresh without overpowering it. The Ube Matcha was also really well balanced and didn't take over the drink. For food, I got the Bacon Avocado Benedict and was very happy with it. Good portion size, Potatoes were nice and crispy, and everything tasted solid. The Salad was just okay though, could've used a bit more dressing. One of my friends got the Steak and Eggs and said it was perfectly cooked medium rare and the Chimichurri was actually really good. It is on the pricier side around $32, but he said it was worth it. Another friend got the Mamas Creamy Tom Yum Hot Pot and that thing was massive. Easily could be split between two people. It came out in this big bowl on fire and was packed with flavor without being overly spicy. You could really taste the Tom Yum, and it had Ground Pork, Shrimp, and Crispy Pork Belly which we even added extra of. Definitely one of the top dishes. We also tried the Soufflé Crème Brûlée Pancakes which were fluffy, airy, and had a really nice sweetness to them. But the number one winner for everyone was easily the Kinaree Fried Chicken. All eight of us tried it and it had that perfect crispy crunch you can literally hear, super juicy on the inside, and the sauces were great with both sweet and spicy options. Overall this place looks a bit like a hole in the wall but completely overdelivered. Huge variety of food, everything came out crazy fast, and it's just a really solid brunch spot. 10 out of 10. read more

We had a disappointing experience during our recent visit. We go out for breakfast in the Irvine area every weekend and enjoy trying new spots, so we decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. I requested an extra shot for my coffee, regardless of the cost, and they declined with a response that felt unnecessarily rude. We ordered two dishes hoping to enjoy our meal together, but one arrived about seven minutes later despite being a simple order. After the food was served, no one checked in to see if we needed anything. When it came time to pay, tracking down our server in such a small space was surprisingly difficult. It felt as though they stopped paying attention once the food was on the table, which was disappointing and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the server stood over my shoulder while I was entering the tip amount, creating an uncomfortable situation that should never happen. Some basic training on proper service etiquette and U.S. customer-service standards would go a long way. It's also worth noting that the food is on the more expensive side, which would be perfectly fine if the service quality matched the prices. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the cost. Overall, the service issues significantly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable visit. read more

Just discovered a new breakfast, brunch and lunch place in southern Orange County. Kinaree at Quail Hill shopping center. The fried chicken and the salmon Benedict were the best ever.
