13.99 for lunch. Great price with the quality and food. Lunch price is great. The price will go up a lot when weekends. I love the fish foods. The soup is too much sweet for me as Asians.

It's been a while since we had lunch King Buffet at the Carson City location. When we entered the restaurant, the crowd was still pretty light but soon enough a steady stream of customers walked in the restaurant through our visit. The employees at the restaurant were very nice and efficient, they cleared our tables and topped off our drinks quickly and frequently. There was a good selection of food but it was a bit different from what I was used to but it was still pretty good and they had a good selection. Our 5-person party enjoyed a great many dishes they offered; I especially liked the two fish dishes in their buffet and all the seaweed salad I can eat from their sushi section. I also liked their coffee-flavored cake; I wished I had another stomach just eat more of it. So, in summary, we had a good lunch at Carsom City King Buffet

Came here with the family and friends. Everyone had a good time. The ambience was nice. We all caught multiple plates between the four adults and one for y'all. We pretty much tried everything. I really like the Mongolian barbecue was so good everything we could pick I chose lots of veggies and some shrimp of that protein. I feel that the crab Ragu could be cooked a little bit longer there a little under Guin but everything else was good deafly will be back. The servers were very polite cleared our place quickly. Thank you.

Today i give them a 4 only because the green beans were hard and cold and so were the french fries. Other than that everything else was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean and cool[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the staff were attentive.

I just can't resist a Chinese buffet when I'm traveling and this was another example of that. I had skipped lunch and this ended up as an early dinner in Carson City. The buffet is in good shape. Nothing spectacular but clean and restocked often. I was able to put together a decent plate of all proteins though I did pop a couple pieces of nigiri sushi on a second plate. A little on the bland side but this is an Americanized Chinese buffet so that's to be expected. Clean restaurant and my waitress refilled the water and cleared dirty plates as needed. I'd have liked to see one-use gloves out on the buffet line for safety but I was glad I had brought a couple of my own. [Review 17686 overall - 32 in Nevada - 1207 of 2022.]

Great food and quite affordable for the variety and taste. The sushi selections were quite good and not overstuffed with rice. The variety shrimp selections were excellent and everything overall tasted quite good. The staff were fast at clearing up the plates from the tables and replenishing the buffet selections. Definitely will be back for more.

It was alright given it was only $14 for AYCE. But if you don't come in with those expectations, you'll probably leave pretty disappointed.

On a previous visit, I was seated in the back of the restaurant, which I was fine with at first, until I realized that's also where staff eat. One employee sat down near me on his break and was loudly eating with his mouth open, shoveling food in with his chopsticks right in my line of sight. It was uncomfortable and honestly pretty gross, to the point that I asked to move tables. On my most recent visit, the service was again disappointing. After my drink was dropped off, my server basically disappeared -- no check‑ins, no options offered, and it took a long time to get anyone's attention for simple things like refills or the check, even though it wasn't that busy. The sushi itself is fine and the prices are reasonable, but between being seated next to an employee loudly eating his break meal and the consistently inattentive service, it's hard to relax and feel like a valued customer. With other sushi options in the area, I'd rather go somewhere that feels a bit more professional and attentive.

They also have an incredible beer selection with well over 100 beers on the menu, so there's something for everyone. A word of advice make reservations if you can. The wait was nearly an hour and it's easy to see why. We started with the fry bread and the jalapeño bombs. The fry bread was delicious, but those jalapeño bombs were an absolute 10/10 and a must-order. We originally came for the prime rib, but unfortunately they had already sold out around 6 p.m., which was definitely disappointing. Thankfully, the food that did make it to our table erased that disappointment pretty quickly. We ordered the two-meat BBQ plate with ribs and brisket, and both were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, smoky, and paired perfectly with their delicious BBQ sauce. We also tried the spicy pot pie, which was unlike any pot pie I've had before, in a good way. It reminded me of an enchilada baked inside a buttery, flaky crust, and it was fantastic. The service was equally impressive. I feel terrible that I can't remember our server's name because he absolutely deserves the recognition. He was friendly, attentive, and made our entire experience even better. Between the amazing food, outstanding service, and unique atmosphere, this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. In fact, it's probably the biggest reason I'd make the drive back to Carson City.

We had a 45 minute wait which I don't mind being that it was a Saturday night, but after being sat at our table it took more then 25 minutes for our server guy to come around and take our order for a soda and an Iced tea! As far as the food I think that we enjoyed your sample that was given at Taste of Downtown more than the almost $80 meal that my wife and I had that night! Wife had the Brisket sandwich which looking at the menu you'd think it would be 2-3 slices of brisket accommodating the bread and fixn's, Nope it it came out like pulled pork or canned beef jerky. I had the half chicken meal and I guarantee the the reason our meals were cold, was probably because the waiter was sitting at the table by the left rear wheel of the steam paver in the lobby instead of bringing our food out and we had to ask the server for the table behind us for a few boxes and our check! NEVER RETURNING id rather spend my time and money elsewhere! Mike

First off, nigiri. These are HUGE and they come with a sizable slab of sashimi cut fish on top too. Pro-tip is to order less than you think you'll eat, because the size is sure to surprise and they will fill you up quickly. Don't sleep on the specialty nigiri here OR he Scallop Supreme appetizer, which is seared scallop sashimi! Second, sticking with the size matters theme, the hand rolls. Spicy salmon, spicy scallop and scallop OG are all stellar, and you will be blown away by the amount of seafood stacked in these when they arrive. One is easily an entire maki roll worth of filling and you will be stoked when you sink your teeth in. I definitely ordered at least two spicy salmon hand rolls and should have had a third. Third, massive maki, perfectly proportioned and portioned for sharing. Do yourself a favor and order the Pink Fire with spicy yellowtail seared with togarashi, sesame oil, salt & pepper wrapped in soy paper, then topped with seared tuna, yummy sauce, teriyaki, ponzu, green onions, chili flakes, & sesame seeds. The Double Down is another winner with salmon, tuna, yellowtail on the inside, then topped with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, tobiko, avocado. FOURTH, don't skip dessert! Can you say house-made ice cream?? I can and I'd say it two or three times here if they'd let me. This stuff is SERIOUSLY good. Desserts are not an afterthought here and you need to save room. FIFTH, last but 100% the most important and not least, SERVICE IS STELLAR! Yes. They are on it. They love what they serve. They're a solid team and this place wins as a result! Great GREAT staff, and the food was everything you could hope for in a prime Stakehouse. I ordered the 16 oz. Prime rib, and she ordered the small Filet mignon. We chose the Albondigas Soup and baked potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The meal came with a selection of two breads in the basket they brought out when we sat down. Today's soup special with your meal was potatoes and ham. OMG delicious. I could have eaten this for my meal. Hubby subbed a wedge salad for his mixed greens salad. No mention from the waiter of it going to be full price either, vs a subbed item!! Hubby ordered the 6oz filet medium (cooked perfect) with a loaded baked potato. that was good. Green beans and 2 pieces of carrot for the veg. Not really upscale veggies and the green beans were very tough. I ordered the Chilean sea bass. I wanted to get the creamed spinach, but he told me it would be full price. Ok no biggie so I opted for the house veggies that come with it. Now for my potato option, I wanted the mascarpone mashed potatoes, no mention of the fact it would be full price!! Don't understand why as he mentioned it about the creamed spinach. Same as he did not mention the wedge would be full price. My meal was great except for the fact, there was about 1/2 the sauce as it had last year. So the fish was dry once the sauce was gone. Over 1/2 of the fish was without, but this cup of mascarpone mash was not worth the 8.00 they charged for it. Now here is the other problem. A really nice couple sat across from our table. I am guessing our waiter knew them for great tips etc as they were very very friendly. He boxed their meals for them. Not us, a bus helper by the name of Azul, super super sweet and helpful since our waiter was mostly absent. He stopped and talked to them often. So as this is happening, we are left waiter-less. We had to call him several times to get things we needed with our meal and a forgot to order, order of mushrooms. He came by 1 time after our food was delivered to bring us our Anniversary desert, (a good 15 to 20 minutes) after our to go bags sat on the table for a good 10 minutes. He dropped it and took off. Now the couple by us he definitely knew.. They came in after us and left before us by a good 10 minutes each way!. I hate this as we have been coming here for a good 4-5 years now. 1 or 2 times a year. Fixed incomes here. After we finally received our check, we were charged full price for both the wedge salad and the mascarpone potatoes. Well here went our great night. Hubby called for the manager, and he removed those charges as we were not made aware of them 1st off. Manager was also told, wait staff should inform of any full charge. Now this little electric pay crap was handed to us to pay the bill. Ummm I do not work here, nor should I with what we are being charged. Not sure if a tip was left or not as I was totally confused on it, and once again, waiter was not there to help us. Pretty sure, we will not be back!!! Such a shame too In the Carson City area, this was our go to place for a nice meal. THEY ALSO TOOK AWAY THE TRUFFLES

On this occasion, we were celebrating the birthday of a close friend. Our party of 10 had plenty of room in one of the back rooms with gorgeous views out the windows. We started the evening with a healthy round of appetizers, including Calamari, Roast Duck and a plate of Mussels. While I didn't partake in the Mussels, I will say the Calamari was good but the Roast Duck was truly amazing. Such great flavor, cooked to a tender doneness and topped with a sweet sauce. The bread roll that preceded the appetizers was something special. Warm and wrapped in paper, it was like opening a Christmas present. The bread was soft, warm and delicious. Seriously good. I ordered a Prime Rib, one of the evenings specials. It was a generous portion, served with potatoes and veggies. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly (Medium Rare ofcourse) with the right amount of marbleing and seasoning. This was perhaps one of the best, most flavorful Prime Ribs I have had in recent memory. My wife ordered the Macadamia Crusted Sea Bass. The fish was breaded and topped with the delicious Macadamia nuts. The fish was light and flaky with a wonderful outer snap. A perfect blend of textures and flavors. I would definitely order this again. My friends mother ordered the Lobster and Filet, Glen Eagle's version of Surf and Turf. I don't know if she realized just how big a 1 1/2 pound (24oz) Lobster really was. This thing was HUGE. Like some giant sea creature. The Filet while a generouse portion, looked puny by comparison. She said the Lobster was a amazing but in full transparency, most of it when home. :-) We had a big party and the restaurant was quite full by the time we left.
