Came back on the 1st day of new year after a long time but unfortunately didn't see any improvements but the price did go up and now it cost exactly $37 for 1 person buffet plus drink and you have to pay first before entering the buffet hall. Items were average to decent and some of the desserts weren't fresh and you can tell they were made a day or two before. Not worth the price at all!!

So I went to the Kings buffet recently located in Western. The service was good. We got sat pretty fast and the food was a decent price very much affordable we went with the group. We were able to all sit together and there are tons of options. Also, I wish they would've had games on. It would've definitely added to the vibe. It had nice lighting and little background music but if they would've had some of the basketball games on, it would've definitely helped the experience. So because I tried so many different things I wanna talk about the stand out the shrimp there really really good and there's fried shrimp there's baked shrimp. There's all different kinds of it. All good really good. The orange chicken was actually pretty solid. Nice flavor nice texture good consistency. The crab was good, but there wasn't a way to crack it so you have to crack it yourself and it was so freaking difficult. And the salmon was some of it was good went back for seconds wasn't as good as the first time like it's a buffet so there's expected to be inconsistencies. The desserts were OK. I enjoyed the ice cream tons of different flavors but the baked goods I wish there was brownies. There was some brownies and the cream cookies were just like I would go back to give it another chance maybe try some of the things a bit fresh but overall, the experience was cool.

For the most part, I liked this spot for the variety of dishes and the unexpected cleanliness at an Asian buffet! There is everything from broccoli beef , short ribs to soft shell crab which was my favorite and pizza for the kiddos. There is a coffee machine , a milk tea machine and i swear it's Thrifty Ice cream for self serve and a chocolate fountain ! Definitely family friendly. There is a Mongolian BBQ option as well , you dont see that in Vegas. Come here with the fam for all the selections.

I had family visiting from out of town, so we went to Hollywood and Highland to look at the Hollywood stars. After that, everyone was hungry, and my uncle wanted to eat at a buffet, so he suggested this place. We walked in, and once we paid, they asked what we wanted to drink, and we went to find a table. The place is pretty big with enough tables for larger groups, but you can't move the tables, so we had to sit at different tables to fit everyone. The buffet is like any other buffet where you grab a plate and serve yourself. They had a lot of seafood items, including sushi. I didn't get to try the sushi because I was super full, but my sister said the sushi was pretty good considering it was a buffet. The rest of the buffet includes Chinese food and a Mongolian BBQ station where they prepare the food for you. They also had a boba drink station, which was pretty cool! The chocolate fountain was also a hit with all the kids! The food that I tried was pretty good, and it tasted fresh. Now for the service. Unfortunately, the service was just okay. For some reason, when I asked for extra utensils, the waitress seemed bothered and said I should have some on my table, but I didn't, so she brought out 5 forks, and I only needed one. Also, one of the other waiters didn't seem friendly at all and was almost upset when I asked him for my son's drink. Even with the service not meeting my expectations, I would go back for the food since everyone else also loved it.

For a buffet that's ~$35 per person on a weekend, I think you get a reasonably clean place with a wide array of options and free parking (which was so nice). My mom and I came here for a relative's birthday dinner and we were seated in a separate area next to the main room. They have sushi, dim sum, a Mongolian BBQ station, and more. The desserts had a good variety as well, with a chocolate fountain being the crowning jewel. The food was decent and though some was a bit on the cool side, I didn't have any stomach issues the next day. No tips are expected and there's a 10% service charge on top of the main price (there's a discount for senior citizens). Overall, you come here when you're looking for quantity while minimizing price.

    No tips!

30-11-25-18:00-There were noticeable less cars in the lot. Strange for a Sunday. Well, I quickly discovered why? They have these weird signs posted all over the place saying "No tip required". I thought, "That's strange". Then I saw other signs saying "10% Mandatory service fee imposed". What the heck is that?! So, 3 people came to $101!! The food quality has really gone down. Many item dried up sitting around. Unfortunately, we used to love this place but, won't be back. We'll go to the other place in Montebello. I don't recommend this place at all!!

Whenever I visit K-town, I try to go back to this buffet place. The lunch price went up $24-$28 (automatically includes a refillable drink). They've been having issues with people leaving without paying, so you must pay before you get a table. This place is enormous. Parking is FREE! They have a decent selection of food and a fresh grill option in the back. Service is quick. Workers always walk around to remove plates when you are done or refill drinks. For the price, I'd say it's pretty decent. The tasty buffet will fill you up for the rest of the day.

This place was okay. I thought they would have more options and they didn't even have cream cheese wontons. Came here before a dj event and was really hungry. It's not the best buffet that I been to but not the worst.

Disappointing Experience This Time We've dined here many times and usually enjoy our visits, but this time was very disappointing -- especially considering we spent nearly $400 for a group of 10. Unfortunately, it just didn't feel worth it. The service overall was poor. Most of the servers seemed tired, unfriendly, and not very accommodating. That said, Linda and another server named Larry were both kind and attentive -- they truly stood out and did a great job. Another letdown was the steak grilling section, which was completely unavailable. And, as in past visits, the temperature inside was uncomfortably warm -- it seems their HVAC system still hasn't been fixed. We hope management addresses these ongoing issues, because the place does have potential, but this visit missed the mark.

This location was recently named one of three LA area buffets in the top 150 in the country, based on Google reviews. I've been to a lot of buffets (Chinese and otherwise), and this was near the top, especially based on the price. We came about 30 minutes after its 11 am opening, and the place was already packed with a line waiting to get in. You pay first, getting water and soda cups at checkout (plates are plentiful near the buffet itself). Emmelyn was the check-in associate, and she was joyful and friendly, putting a smile on my wife's face after a stressful drive through LA traffic. We found out that my wife's lunch was free because it was her birthday. Lunch pricing is $15.19 (M-F), minus $1 for seniors and military. Refillable soda is $2.99. It's find your own seating, and we grabbed the first seats we could find. -- being super crowded meant the food was constantly being replenished and kept fresh. It also meant a lot of line (inadvertent) line cutting and careful, slow movements...need to be careful for sure. -- the taste of the food was good, mainly because most things were turning over quickly. However, the selection of dishes wasn't huge, and the soups didn't look too good. -- I focused on the sushi and was satisfied. They had different type simple rolls and nigiri, with soy sauce at each table. They also had a bottle of eel sauce to douse your rolls with more, if you want. Towards the end, discovered a New Zealand green mussel dish in a hot chili sauce, which I took full advantage of. -- the must get is the Mongolian Grill, which dominates the center of the restaurant. There were three types of sliced frozen meat (beef, chicken, pork), a variety of vegetables (including my favorite, baby corn), and various runny sauces that you pour on top when done. Once your bowl is complete, you need to give it to the operator. But here its a bit different: it operates on a unique system that I've only seen here. In the front counter, there are 20 spots where numbered pager sits. Once a person fills up a bowl with raw ingredients, they place it on the next available pager spot, taking the pager with them. Once the food is cooked, the pager goes off. You then exchange the bowl in your spot, with the pager...and the cycle continues. I asked myself what would happen if all 20 pagers were taken, and decided if that happened, you would have to wait since there would be no more space on the grill for your plate anyway. The system worked really well, with all three of us taking advantage of it. Taste wise, I've had better but certainly not for that price. And I just love the efficiency of it all. -- soft serve ice cream was available, and it was very thick and creamy (though a bit off in taste). My wife also mentioned that you can get cotton candy as well. -- Service was good, with an employee in a hostess outfit personally letting us know that she was there to assist us, including getting drinks. She did clear dishes when necessary, but also seemed to be supervising our section. What's interesting is that the same report mentioned King Buffet in Garden Grove, which now seems to be another branch of the Paradise chain. So need to be leery of such reports not being current...but in this case, following its suggestion paid off.

First things first -- plenty of parking in the plaza, so no need to circle around hunting for a spot. We arrived around 3:30 PM, and since weekday lunch pricing is $21.99 per person from 11 AM-4 PM, we were pleasantly surprised when the hostess kindly allowed us to stay through the transition until 4:30 PM before dinner pricing kicked in. That was definitely appreciated! The ambience is what you'd expect from a buffet: open, spacious, and filled with plenty of tables for larger groups and families. Now onto the food... One thing I really enjoyed was the impressive selection of appetizers and dips. There were several varieties of hummus including spicy hummus, avocado hummus, baba ghanoush, along with a sauce station featuring tahini, tzatziki, and garlic sauce. If you're a dip-and-spread person, you'll probably be pretty happy here. They also had multiple rice options and a variety of proteins. Most of the selections consisted of different styles of chicken, along with fried fish and grilled fish. I believe the lamb shank is only offered during dinner service or on weekends, so unfortunately we missed out on that. As for the food itself, this is where the experience became a little mixed for us. While there were certainly a lot of choices, many of the dishes felt surprisingly similar, and overall the food lacked the bold Mediterranean flavors we were hoping for. Most items were fairly mild and a bit bland for our taste. Nothing tasted bad, but very little stood out enough to make us want to go back for seconds. For dessert, they offered baklava, pistachio rice pudding, and a few other sweet treats, which was a nice way to end the meal. Service, however, was excellent. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, so I'd easily give the service 5/5 stars. Overall, I landed at 3 out of 5 stars. I appreciate the buffet concept, the variety, and the wonderful service, but for hubby and me, flavor is king. Unfortunately, the food just didn't have enough seasoning or wow factor to make us want to return for a second visit. If you're looking for a Mediterranean buffet with lots of options, it may be worth trying once and deciding for yourself. Happy eats!

From taking drinks orders to clearing used plates, they were fairly attentive to everyone in the party. The food was refilled at decent times as well. There were plenty of seniors dining here since there's a special price for seniors. Reservations are recommended for large parties or peak dining times (dinner and weekends). The Standouts: The seafood station and dim sum are the primary draws. The self-serve boba station is a novelty that stays busy. Elite Tips: Service is surprisingly fast at clearing plates for a buffet. Always make a reservation for large groups to ensure you get the side-room treatment.
